Just bought a 2016 Yamaha FZ-07. Dave was helpful, held the bike for me overnight since I work so late that the banks would have been closed to complete the financing by the time I would have been able to get down there. Went down Saturday morning, got the paperwork drawn up, and then had to wait on the WA DMV to fax the tax amount back to the dealership. Not their fault it took about 1 1/2 hours for the WA DMV/DOL to get the fax returned. All in all it was a good experience, and the bike is absolutely amazing. The phone service/customer service was excellent as well. The only downer is that there was no value added anything. No icing on the cake eg: No Yamaha keychain, no free (advertising for them) Sports Plaza t-shirt, not even a meager 10% OFF Coupon on one item etc.(25% would have been awesome). Of my coworkers who ride motorcycles, all of them were surprised at this. I did take the bike back down the same day I bought it to have the Service Tech inspect what looked like a oil leak/seep coming from the right crankcase. Turned out to be "cosmolene" as he stated, and the bike hasnt leaked a drop since. It was great to have them check it out right away (as they should have). Edit Follow Up - Two weeks later Lowered to 3 stars, "Its Okay" ranking because of the following: Called to follow up with sales guy on how exactly the WA DOL/DMV would be getting ahold of me re: my registration, and plates. Dave was unsure how it would happen, whether Id get a call, or something in the mail, or if everything would automatically be mailed to me at home. The end result was that my plates and registration WERE sent to my home, 13 days (10 business days) after purchase of the motorcycle. While not a wholly unreasonable time frame, Dave doesnt know the WA State licensing requirements. I should have been given a Oregon Temporary Registration, and an Oregon Travel Trip Permit. I know because I was pulled over, and held long enough while the Vancouver police and I exchanged information that I was late for work. Despite the WA DOL on 136th reassuring me that a Bill Of Sale, and a Washington State Temp Travel Permit was enough, Its not. The police had nothing aside from my Bill of sale to track the vehicle. I was given a verbal warning instead of being ticketed for failure to have registration. Yes I get that any cop would most likely forgive this infraction, however to the letter of the law, I should have had the Temp Registration. Things to take away from all of this: If youre from WA, expect to buy a motorcycle but be unable to legally ride it got two weeks. Get a WA state travel permit BEFORE you go since Sports Plaza cant or wont give you one. Get an OR Temp Registration and Temp Travel Permit do you can get to the WA/OR state line, the WA Temp Travel Permit is good for a whopping 3 consecutive days. The OR is good for 60. There IS a special WA State Travel Permit that is good for 60 days, BUT it requires that you pay the entire sales tax to the DOL/DMV. That would be way better than paying the $90 for three WA Temp Travel permits (which will give you 9 days total, and is the max allowed per year, per vehicle), and then finding out youre still riding illegally. The sale was great, but the legal documentation was a PITA. Nothing like buying a motorcycle, paying an extra $90 to ride it, only to find out that its still illegal to ride and hard parking it till your docs / plates arrive.

Edit: I see that they responded to my review saying it was not their fault! It was a tune up and they forgot to reconnect a wire! Unbelievable. The second time they repaired it, the idle was off and they had to adjust it AGAIN. The management was awful, the response was awful, and no one in my surrounding scooter community will be foolish enough to use this business. TL:DR - Never go to this place for scooter issues. Was charged much more than any other shop for a tune up. I left the shop, scooter sounded good, less than 10 minutes later, the scooter DIED. This was on a Saturday after they had closed and they were not open again until Tuesday. I took on the cost of having it towed to my home. The manager did have it picked up to work on it. Said it wasnt their fault (yeah, right). Once I got it back, about a week later, it ran fine for a day. Then, once again, the idle was off and it would DIE if I came to complete stop. I had to argue with them to come pick it up and repair it again, they wanted me to bring it in and to pay for additional repairs. It took three days for them to repair it, but when I called to check on it, the cashier said it had been ready for two days. This was the absolute worst experience, and it is very unfortunate to see a manager respond to a review to say it wasnt their fault. I took my scooter in for a tune up - there were no issues until their mechanics touched it. I had since gone to Columbia Scooters and their prices are better, service better and they are all about scooters. Go there. And never Yamaha sports plaza for your scooter needs. But, if you want to pay a lot of money and have to take two weeks and two trips to a sketchy party of town, by all means.

Excellent store. First time motorcycle rider/buyer. Stopped in about a month ago and spoke w/ the sales guy, Dave. Super knowledgeable about Yamaha and the industry as a whole. Told him about the bike I was interested in and that I wasnt going to buy that day. He still took his time with me and didnt try and push me towards something more expensive or try and get me on a bike that day. After shopping around a bit at other stores, I returned here to purchase a motorcycle. When I walked in I was greeted by John. Dont think he does sales, but he still walked around with me and took his time and answered all my questions. More than happy to just talk about motorcycles it seemed. Told him Im ready to buy and then Dave walked up and simply said, "So, how are we doing this?" without a typical sales run around that I was fully expecting. Everything on his end was fast and efficient, he also seemed genuinely excited to talk about motorcycles while we were going through the buying process. Now, I just returned from getting my bikes initial 600 mile service completed. Dropped the bike off and got a phone call from John to pick up the bike at the same time I was told itd be ready the day prior. If the store owner is reading this, be sure and keep this team around! I hope youre paying these guys well. Made my first experience with bikes a great one and you have a loyal customer on your hands if you do! EDIT: They could have a larger gear selection, (on-road gear that is) I ended up going elsewhere for all of it save for my jacket.

So I needed to buy some plastic push rivets for some of my fairing pieces. Never been to this shop before so I figured I would stop by and check them out, see if they had what I needed. Well about. 5 miles from the shop my bike started over heating. Luckily I was close enough to just pull into their parking lot. Assuming that it was a fuse that blew, I needed an Allen wrench to pull my seat off. They wouldnt let me use one of theirs. Had to purchase a set. Got the fuse out, it was blown. Went back into their shop and asked to buy a fuse. Just a regular 10A classic fuse... Well they dont carry them. AT A MOTORCYCLE SERVICE AND PARTS SHOP!!!? Had to walk over to home depot and buy a pack of them. I then returned the Allen wrenches and left. So first and last time I will visit this shop. Oh also didnt have the plastic push rivets.
