Self Wash Facilities - Clean environment and good lighting were only positives. Negatives far outnumbered positives: 1) Open area, so if dog gets loose its either in the store or running our front door which is right next to self-wash area. 2) Steps to get dog into elevated basins are extremely steep to too tall. Any large dog with hip issues will not be able to climb or jump the stairs. Additionally, the steps are tiled n slippery when wet. In fairness, they do provide one floor level basin although the vinyl aprons they provide will not offer much coverage to keep you dry. 3) The wash itself is on a timer: 25 minutes which includes wash, rinse, and dry (very similar to a self-clean car wash, where you select cycles). The "wash" cycle is preprogrammed with three different soaps...all organic. This meant nothing to me, as I wanted a soap that was very mild as to not irritate my dogs skin. The salesperson was only able to tell me they were organic...nothing more. 4)Thank goodness I brought my own soap and bathing brushes, as they do not provide any brushes for bathing or brushing afterwards. The soap that is dispensed from the machine (with the water) is very diluted, and was not thick enough to actually work up a lather on the dog; hence I switched to the soap I had brought. My dog is large, and I spent approximately 15 minutes washing, 5 minutes rinsing, and maybe another 5 minutes hand drying with somewhat threadbare very thin towels. They bring you a few towels, which were assorted sizes, but mostly small. I needed about three times what they gave me. Luckily, I saw where they had them stored and helped myself. When it came time to dry the dog with the hair dryer, there was about one minute left on the cycle. I asked the salesperson to give me more time, but she made it clear that this time extention on five minutes was a one time deal. The fee for the wash is $15. In comparison to other dog self-wash locations, the fee is ridiculous given the time restrictions and lack of anemities. They also do not offer any tools (e.g., alcohol, cotton pads, etc.) to clean the dogs ears. If your dog needs a good bath, this is not the place to go. If youre looking to just hose them down with some soapy water and fluff them up with the hairdryer, this is your place. That said, however, I should have gone with my gut feeling and left the store before I even started. VERY DISAPPOINTED. As for the rest of the store, I have no idea, as I only went into the store to wash my dog.

This is absoulty the best pet food store ive EVER been to. The staff is more knowledgeable than any place ive been to. Pet smart Petco are not in their league. Tha lay out of the store is fantastic and their food supply is secind to none. The self wash is the bomb. And the small play area in the back is where my guys get to play. The staff is the most knowledgeable bunch about diet and nutrition around. And they will spend as much time as you have teaching you. Some customers have spent over an hour going thru all their brands to see what is best for their pets need. A special shout out to Charlie,Pam, Michelle, Norma,and the entire group. Oh and to some guy named Jeff. PFE us my new permanent home store. And in occasion the famous bulldog Kramer with his new sister Donut will in the back . So come on in and say hi.Looking fwd to meeting new friends there

The staff here is super helpful and more knowledgeable that anyone Ive ever met at a big name pet store. LOTS of Raw options, and only the highest quality kibble if youre still feeding that (huge difference with even partial raw diet, so I highly recommend you try it). Buy 3 of anything (or maybe just food items) and the 4th is free. They even threw in some extra goodies here and there (can of pumpkin, freezer bag). Glad this place opened. Super convenient that its right next to Trader Joes, too.

With each visit I am more impressed with the knowledge of the staff. The team members are amazing. My dog is EXTREMELY finicky and has food sensitivities making it difficult to always find something he will like. Thank you Charlie for introducing me to a new brand. In transitioning him the step you shared, beyond mixing a small portion of the new food into the old, worked - thank you. And he likes the food!

I appreciate the 25% discount when I can buy 4 bags. Last few times you only had 2-3 but still gave me the discount. This time you wouldnt offer it because you didnt have 4 in stock. Is that my problem? No. it your decision to not honor the discount today when you only had 2 (even though you did the last few times) lost you over $1000 in annual revenue. Dumb.
