I love them! I have been going here for quite a while, and theyve always been super helpful. There was one lady who took a while to warm up (NEVER mean), but theyre all really nice. They always offer to help, if needed, and if they dont have what I want/need, they always look and see if their supplier has it and if they do, offer to get it. They even help try to save me money, as they found a product that was cheaper, but the same exact thing, as I was feeding my horse and recommended it to me, and keep me updated on their future sales (I think they have one or two a year). Obviously, their stuff is a little more than it would be if you ordered it online, but Ill gladly pay an extra dollar here and there to keep fantastic people like these in business. I cant say enough great things about them.

Im very upset with lomita feed and the staff even Jeff the manager i bought organic poultry feed today and came home to open it and it was infested with thousands of tiny beetles. They got all over my car. They where being rude to me and raising their voice at me and trying to shut me up in front of other customers just so that they wont see the beetles in the feed while i was explaining to the young lady at the counter. Even the young lady didnt seem to really care. Point is , this place doesnt seem to care about keeping the customer happy and keeping my business. Im NEVER buying from here again. Im telling all my friends also. Shame on you guys.

This place really dissapointed me. I bought a big bag of poultry feed and a bunch of beetles were all inside the bag. Seemed like there were more beetles than feed!! But the worse part is when i came to return this item the staff made me feel uncomfortable. I could barely get a word in and they obviously did not care for my concern. I simply wanted to bring this to their attention, but they DID NOT seem to care at all; or even be bothered by this. Should be called the lomita beetle infested feed store. Gross. And no my chickens were not too happy with the beetles. They just tossed them around. Dont waste your time.

I love having this local resource! The prices are higher than online, of course, but I dare anyone to stay in business like they are and offer those same prices. It costs money to run a small local business, staff it, stock inventory, and then on top of all that, provide hay that satisfies picky (fickle?) horse owners like me! If you want a business to be there for you, you have to support it!

There are beetles inside of the 50 pound bags of feed. Beware the feed is infested and they will get all over your car and they bite. The staff was rude to me and jeff , the manager didnt seem to care about my business with them. Im very upset.

I love this store I can always find what im looking for for my horses and dogs, at a resonable price. The 3 girls that work there are VERY rude, however if you can look past that I usually have a very enjoyable experiance.

My Great grandfather ,Charles Stiegh, opened the feed store back in the early 1900s. My grandfather and his brother ran it for years then sold it to the new owners in the late 70s. I worked there as a kid, first job.

great store, cool people, nice selection of poultry and horse supplies. I only wish they had better open hours. closed on Sundays and Mondays makes it very hard for me to get there.

Great place with a small town feel. They even deliver the hay and other heavy stuff. You can get good advice, also, if you need it. The people who work there are really nice.

Great place to pick up you hay. Very friendly staff. They have a lot of stuff for horses. Also this place is located in a great part of Old Lomita in a great building.
