I have lived in three states over the 16 years I have owned my wedding rings. I have the original ESP diamond policy. Twice in the three years I have lived in Springfield have I taken them here for ESP servicing. The first time, I needed the rings rhodium plated and I requested that they widen the bands because they have worn down. They came back soldered together. The second time, I sent them to get rhodium plated, unsoldered, and widened. They came back soldered and barely widened. My husbands ring , dropped off the second time with mine, came back a different ring. When I complained they actually ARGUED that I didnt know what his wedding ring of 16 years should look like. I cant even deal with these people. I know they "send the rings out for work to the shop". But the shoddy argument is the last straw. Save your money. Buy a ring with a guarantee some where else. Im ready to sell my original wedding rings just so I never have to do business with these people again.

Are these workers even professionals? I stopped by looking for potential engagement rings with my soon-to-be wife and I was completely appalled. The one gentleman who was helping a customer was open-mouth chewing gum like a cow, and the person who came to help us next was extremely rude. We asked for some suggestions and the like and he just looked at us and asked if my soon-to-be has checked online for pictures and thats pretty much it. He couldnt even be bothered to show us their selection and casually passed me a catalog. Yeah, no thanks. I tossed the catalog back on the counter and we took our leave. If this is what Kay jewelers is like Ill just stick with zales, where their workers actually care.

I went to buy a $400 wedding band I saw on the internet that I liked. It was pretty much a sure sell for them. When I arrived there was an employee trying to convince a man to buy a ring. She told me I would be helped in a moment. A second salesmen approached and after he looked at me he also started to help convince the man to buy the ring. As I got up to leave he decided to help me. The entire time I was looking at wedding bands he kept looking over at the other customer that was already being helped. I excused myself and left. Im a young guy- they blew a sure deal and lost what couldve been a life long customer. I found a better deal in the mall after I left.

A few days before Christmas I went to Kay Jewelers at the Battlefield Mall to exchange a ring I purchased for my husband in the wrong size a week prior. I am assuming the sales staff receives commission because two different female employees looked at me then down at my return bag and went to help other people who were just walking into the store. I stood there for several minutes and stopped the third lady who did the same thing. She had just finished a transaction and went to walk on by as well. I personally will not be returning to this location due to horrible customer service.

Absolutely hated it. This was my first time in Kay looking for engagement rings to show my soon-to-be betrothed, and the salesman was incredibly rude and didnt try to help me look at rings. Also, another salesman was very unprofessional and chewing gum noticeably. Worst experience Ive had, and now youve lost a customer.

I love my rings Ive gotten here! They are very nice and helpful as well. If you do buy rings with lots of stones, it is worth getting the extended warranty plan! Ivee taken my ring in at least 5 times and each time its been covered.
