Growing up in Springfield this was the place to go for Jewelry. I remember going with my dad to purchase my mothers Christmas present year after year. As I got older and made my own money I purchased my first Rolex watch from Woody himself. Last November my mother-in-law was visiting from Thailand and asked where to go to purchase a new ring so we took her to Justice and she left with a $12,000 diamond ring. However, this evening 12/2/11 we took a a trip to Justice Jewelers looking to trade two watches and upgrade to a better watch. Well as luck had it Woody passed away last month bad luck for him and us as well. The sales girl was very nice...showing us all the watches answering our questions while an older lady (very rude) who thought she was the queen of England carried our two watches we were trading all over the store trying to figure out if they wanted them or not. She even took out her little looky glass thing in front of us to make sure they were real...Not kidding she even told us that was what she was doing. In between taking our watches for a round trip around the store...the queen as we will call her reprimanded the very nice sales clerk for showing us too many watches with us standing right there. After all of this she returned our watches to us indicating that she would not be interested in one of them and the other only $750.00 and suggested that we scrap them. Needless to say we left insulted and I returned a moment later and informed the queen of this and she indicated that she was Woodys soon to be wife before he died and if we did not want to come back that was our choice. So we wont...but the funny end to this story is that we left and went to Maxons traded the two watches for $5000.00 and left with two new watches one costing $26,000 and the other $6,500.00. Oh, what mistakes the queen can make. :) Maxons also informed us as we left with out purchases that after the first of the year they would in fact be the only Rolex dealer in Springfield. Justice Jewelers was voted off the mountain by Rolex themselves. What goes around comes around.

A ring was purchased for me for a good sum of money from Justice Jewelers. It is now needing to be sized and I have been in there twice and they are telling me that they cannot size it. The first time I had taken it in the saleswoman said nonchalantly "Well, what youll need to do is get a new ring and trade this one in." This is my WEDDING SET. This same woman proceeded to try to sell me everything but the furniture in the store after that! I realize that she is a saleswoman, but REALLY?! Finally I went to someone else and after a good deal of arguing they finally said that they could send it off to see if it could be sized but it would cost over $200. She stated that she would call the manufacturer on Monday and then give me a call back as soon as she did. I never received a phone call. When my husband purchased it, he had purchased an extended warranty - or was under the impression that he had because there was an extra amount tacked onto the total. He was also told that sizing would not be an issue at the time he had purchased the ring. I took the ring home and decided to turn everything over to him to handle. He called and got a hold of the woman he dealt with when he originally purchased the ring, she said that there would be no problem and to bring it in and deal with her directly. I then called and set up an appointment and double checked with her twice to make sure she would be there. When I arrived to see her, she was not there. They informed me that she wasnt even scheduled to be there that day. Not only is it extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional but a huge hassle for me as well as it is about an hour drive for me to get there. If I had to choose between buying jewelry at Justice Jewelers or never buying jewelry again, I would go to my grave without purchasing another item of jewelry. In fact, I would probably cry if my husband purchased another item from Justice Jewelers for me ever again. I will NEVER step foot in that place again. Looks like Maxons just got a new customer!

I had what was supposed to be a wonderful experience go horribly wrong because of the staff here. I am getting married and my fiance is in the military so I had to go pick out our bands alone and was a little sad about this. I chose Justice because thats where my engagement ring is from and I have bought very expensive diamond bracelet there before. Not to mention my parents have bought tons of very expensive jewelry there and recommended them. When I went in I wasnt greeted. An employee simply looked at me and watched me while I looked around rather confused. Then she had the police officer come up and greet me. I have to say I was really insulted by this. He was nice but how dumb is it to have an officer in a uniform come ask what you need (did I look suspicious?). He showed me to another employee who was put out because I had come in. Even he had to ask her twice if she was sure she was ready for another customer. I explained I wanted wedding bands but didnt want a super expensive one for my fiance because hes in the army. She was VERY rude after this. She wanted me in and out. She did not take time to actually help me find anything or talk to me about any of the bands. Instead she just picked it up and stood there while I looked at it. I was so put off by her attitude that I refused to buy mine there. There was no way I was going to spend $300 on a wedding band and have her get the commission. When I was leaving she was standing by where I walked out whispering to someone and didnt even say thanks or goodbye. The ring ended up being too big for my fiance so Im returning it and NEVER going there again. Too bad for them, were looking to upgrade my engagement ring soon. My parents are not going back again either. Thanks Justice, you made a very emotional and what was supposed to be a happy time for me turn VERY bad. I would suggest you teach your employees better customer service skills if you want to actually make sales.

Terrible craftsmanship and even worse customer service. First, please know that I am not a hot head and always look for the bright spot in customer service. Secondly, I care for my jewelry by having it cleaned and checked at least once a year. I work an office job and remove my jewelry when I work out or do any outside activities. Now on to my experience; I purchased a wedding ring from Justice Jewelers just 2 years ago. Within the first year I had lost a stone (which I had never had happen on any ring before) and they did replace the stone at that time. They told me that the ring would only be covered for such issues within the first year at that time, and I didnt think anything else of it as I was sure this was just a fluke incident. Last week, I lost 2 more stones! I called right away just to see if there was any sort of warranty or coverage due to what at this point I see as faulty craftsmanship. I was told by a manager that they have a new guarantee they "would be happy to grandfather" me into, just to bring my ring up. I was more than ecstatic I even thanked the manager on the phone for the good news. I arrived at the store a few days later to be told that I would have to pay for the first repair, but THEN have the new guarantee (as long as I brought it in every 6 months). For some of you, that might seem like an ok solution and if so, feel free to shop here. I will not ever come back to this store as I was misled, told that I didnt read my maintenance agreement clearly and there is an obvious issue of craftsmanship if I have lost 3 stones in 2 years when I have never lost not one stone in my entire life on rings I have worn daily. For those of you who want a ring that will truly last forever and want to be treated like a real person with respect, please do not go to Justice Jewelers with your jewelry needs.
