The grooming department doesnt even deserve one star! They are charging people money for services they are NOT doing. Today I had the most stressful experience in my life with my dog Leo! And the owners of other dogs need to start watching these people. Not dropping off and coming back. The older woman named BJ was very ruff with the little dogs. I think Pet Smart needs to GET SMART and video their employees in work they are being paid for and not doing. The young girl that said she did my dog, gave him a bath and clipped his nails, when i paid for the full service. I confronted her and she said she did it all, which was a lie. My dogs belly was not trimmed or his butt area, the hair between his nails not done. You know we need to wise up fur parents because this is the biggest rip off I have ever encountered....

If anyone knew the animal neglect that is going on in this store, I honestly dont think they would come back. The adoption cats are given water from a hose in the back room that cleaning products and chemicals also run through. The two parrots in the store are wild from lack of human socialization. Every single fish I have bought here has died within two weeks and poisoned and killed my entire tank of other fish that did not come from Petsmart. I seriously would not recommend going here for anything. They have a 14 day guarantee on every small animal or bird there, why? Because youll be very lucky if they even live a month.

If I could give them any less i would. I bought two beautiful fancy rats from their Charleston wv store. These rats act as if they were never handled! And were very sick once they arrived to my home. $900 in vet bills, and to no avail. Both died 8 days after I bought them due to resp. Failure. NEVER BUYING THERE AGAIN! P.S. their products are over priced, as well as their sickly animals. I paid $12 for each of them when I couldve went to a more local pet shop and bought my rats for $3. Never ever again!

never going back. the staff had no idea about any of the animals except what was on the store provided display card. the fish department knows nothing about fish and will sell you a extreme agressive and tell you you can put it in your community tank. im a fish geek and i went in to have some fun with people but i found a jackpot of stupid people who were selling stuff and had no idea how big or what it was they were selling....really really sad....

I was there a week ago and again this week. The lady who helped us with our fish, Crystal, was amazing! She was very kind and very knowledgeable about the fish. We held her up for at least 30 minutes. Not once did she get inpatient with us, or get aggravated. I was very excited to see her again when we went back because our fish died. Thankyou Crystal for making our pets mart trip easy and a blast!

I shop here because I have to buy bird food somewhere, however their selection of bird toys is very small and expensive. It is also heartbreaking to see all the small parrots in tiny cages. I absolutely hate that. I will commend them for working with local cat and dog rescues to promote adoptions. I wish they would extend the same compassion to small birds, turtles, reptiles, etc.

Girl that was pushing buggies in on 7-23-16 was very helpful. A descent amount of pets to choose from. Trying to walk across to the store from parking area is a challenge. The people in this area wont slow down and carelessly drive fast by customers and workers alike. They have fish, turtles hermit crabs, cats, dogs, etc.

Friendly knowledgeable, helpful staff, everything you need for any kind of pet including hermit crabs, like my daughter won at out town fair...lol They are a little more expensive but its a 1 stop for all pet needs. Plus my 3 year old LOVES going to see all the pets especially all the adorable cats up for adoption.

If you have a Pomeranian DO NOT take it here to get groomed.. Dropped my dog off to get a lion cut came back 3 hours later and he looked awful.. Told them not to touch his mane or his bib, obviously she wasnt listening to me cause it was shortened and uneven.. Will absolutely never take my dog here again..

Pretty decent chain pet store. Their dog food supplies are steady (always have my brand in stock, it is a less common specialty brand) and they rotate their price breaks among on a regular schedule. Pretty decent fish and aquarium supplies selection.

My dog and I love going to PetSmart! It is much larger than the PetCos in the area and and much better selection of food, treats, supplies, toys, etc. for all animals. They store is very clean and has a friendly staff.

Every employee is approachable and extremely helpful. They go above and beyond to assist you and even advise of sales through app or website. I saved $30.00 that I would have if I went somewhere else!

Want your pet you perched to die, go to pet smart. Wait for help for 30 minutes then they help people behind you, go to pet smart. Want to scare kids with dead animals in tanks, go to pet smart!
