*****UPDATE: A gentleman called me 10 minutes after i posted this review and asked if he could help me. I explained to him the whole problem and he said THE ONLY WAY HE WOULD HELP ME IS IF I WOULD DELETE THIS REVIEW!!!! I filed complaints through the BBB and the FTC.****** I ONLY GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE ZERO STARS IS NOT AN OPTION!!!! I went to Gardner Auto because, honestly, I had no where else to go. I knew I would be paying high interest and double the price for a vehicle, but I needed a car immediately, so I had no option. The approval process was pretty easy, however, the day I purchased the vehicle, I got the car home and it wouldnt start. They did fix this issue. Seven months after I bought this car, I knew it needed brakes, so I took it to get it checked out. Well, the entire front end needs repaired. $1500 worth of work. I took this car to 3 different places to get estimates on repairs and ALL three places said the same things needed repaired. And I did not tell them that I had taken it anywhere else. I was even shown the bad parts and explained how they worked and what they were supposed to look like. Now, 2 weeks later, my car wont start. My 4 year old and I were stuck out in 92 degree humid weather, trying to get it to start. Finally, I was able to put it in neutral and get it started to drive it home. Now, the next day, IT WONT start again even trying the neutral trick. I am fed up! I called Gardner to ask if I could trade it in for a car that actually works and was told that I had to pay my balance down to $1000 before I could trade it in. Mind you, Ive only had this car 7 months. Then, I was transferred to the "mechanic" to see if he could help me. He told me that the only thing I could do is pay for my own tow truck and leave it with him for however long it takes, and then maybe they will fix it or not. I asked if there was a manager I could talk to and he said his say was what they will go by and he LAUGHED at me. I have sent this company at least 6 people who have purchased vehicles through them since January and this is the treatment I get?? HORRIBLE PEOPLE!! CROOKS!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TRUST ME, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! YOU WILL GET SCREWED OVER.

My boyfriend bought a car at begin o f apirl 3day later already having problem with car linkage were gear wont shift right so he call them & had them fix it cause you know cant sell bad car thats against the law with or with out warranty so he got it fix now 6months later & same problem with gear shift that they fix now the car wont even move or start even when its in park it Rollin back so hope my boyfriend call see if they can handle issue or have to get attorney for lemon law & really nobody wont to go to courts pay all that money pulse the judge be in our favor cause does make sense he had the car for half year now this sum b.s. so I hope yall read this just know we going take your ass to court

Dont trust the outside appearance. Take the vehicle to a shop and get it looked at. I paid way more than I should have.. After a few weeks I noticed it needed new ball joints and shocks.. Thats expensive. Next week I had an 02 sensor go out.. And now my vehicle is acting like its not getting power. Its putting and the lights are all flickering. They dont take debit/credit cards. The staff is very rude and doesnt really seem to want to help anyone who isnt buying a new car. This place really just seems geared towards helping the poor communities out or simply taking advantage of them. I would not recommend this place. I wouldnt go back. I wish I didnt buy a car here.

I was on here looking for vehicles with 3rd row seating because I purchased a car from them in 2007.... They treated me great fixed my starter two weeks after I bought it when I bought it as is and they absolutely didnt have to... The place always worked with me...I have been fortunate to be able to pay cash for cars since however I have recommended several people over the years to purchase cars from them...They are trusted in my eyes..

My family has bought cars from them since they were over on little Avenue 30 years or so ago and we have always got good cars from them so if you do not get a good car from them its because you dont know how to drive it and take care of it plain and simple good people this is way off all businesses should be ran

Great staff, very helpful and always have good deals. Purchased vehicle in December 2014 and its still going great with no problems and I drive 250 + miles a day and the car is great and got it at a great price.

Cars are not even vacuumed out or wiped down! Brought inn from auction and right up for sale! They are right on with nada valid and have good payments plans and mostly nice!
