The closest thing Gonzales, LA has to a Whole Foods and the owner is very knowledgeable and very accommodating. If they do not have something you want, she will order it. If you are vegan/vegetarian/gluten intolerant/or even paleo, you will want to check out Horn of Plenty. It saves me a trip to Whole Foods on a lot of items. My only complaint would be that I wish she would expand and possibly open up a larger location.
