What is happening to this store? In the last few months, several things Ive always bought have been discontinued or are never stocked.(just empty place on shelf for weeks!)Youve stopped carrying several things we use all the time & are now buying elsewhere.Ive talked to CustomerService, written letters(& have heard nothing in response),asked the folks stocking the shelves...& no one seems to care or want to help. Are you unable to keep up with stock demands? Are you unaware some items are"sold-out"for weeks on end? Where are the Kroger-brand NO HEAT sliced jalapenos?Natures Own Large-slice bread is baked in Denton.Suddenly, youre carrying very little of it,yet Pepperidge Farm has taken over the bread aisle.WTH?Theres no other bread w/no High Fructose/preservatives!Diet Rite Cherry Cola - you said its not available anymore,so Ill keep buying it at Target. Along with Philadelphia Cream Cheese SALMON spread & PopChips salt & vinegar chips.(more things you tell me arent available - except to Target, apparently) This week when I shopped, still no frozen shelled Edamame. Have you just stopped carrying that, too? Ive been a faithful Kroger shopper for years. If you could park at the Kroger store on University, Id switch stores, but I guess I need to find a new grocery store because everytime I deal with the empty spaces on the shelves, or inability to buy everything I need in one stop, I get upset. Especially as the list of things I USED to be able to buy at this store grows. But mostly the non-response from my various efforts to talk to someone about this is what will drive me away from Kroger.

Better than the "ghetto" Kroger on University, but still needs work.... especially concerning customer service, and in their general outlook on life. The most memorable occurrences were these: when I asked this cute, but expressionless blonde-haired stocker where the styling gel was... she said about two, very monotone words, then pointed. I still smiled and cheerfully said "thank you!" This altered her mood not at all .... Whats going on with her? I didnt hear a metallic clank when she walked? Task complete? A friend of mine told me the same thing, about the same person....twice. Someone give this girl a few reasons why there is still hope. If her job and life are that bad, and they probably are, then Im very sorry. Every single one of her party hats must have been pissed in, because she seems extremely unhappy, yet is still forced to deal with the public....oops. Oh, but shes not alone. Another time a stocker pushed my cart out of the way and stormed off.....what? Dead end. Forward progress? Nah? Problem is, these have not been rare enough incidents....

I just love this store - actually I love ALL 3 of Dentons rebuilt new & improved Krogers. They meet almost every need & its my staple for groceries & gas. I love the Rewards card & save almost everytime I shop. I love the coupon mailouts I recieve w/ some really great coupons off things I actually use regularly & buy. On top of these benifits there points towards money off gallons of gas. Last time I got $0.40 off per gallon!!! The bathrooms and stores are really really clean and well kept. The large selection of fresh veggies & fruits, the wonderfully stocked deli full of prepared meals/foods, meats, cheeses, breads, the complete bakery, the organic foods section, gluten free products, & household supplies is vast. They accept coupons for thrifty shoppers & are open 24/7. The parking lots are well lit at night w/ security on duty. This store has become a full service customer service provider w/ check cashing, rainchecks, western union, bill pay, returns, and money orders. I love the Krogers its really up to date.

This store has by far the best pharmacy in town. Their produce is admittedly pricey, but they have perks, like the superb salad bar/olive bar in the deli, and the excellent sushi bar (strangely, near the produce). They have a very nice beer selection, and a good bakery. They tend to have security up front (off-duty sheriffs deputies). Their mark-down selection is poor, but thats about the only criticism that I can give. Add in the fact that you can use your Kroger card savings for fuel purchases right out front, and this is a very nice store to go to. Also, its easy to drive in and out of, if you enter from the back side. This is not the cheapest store in town, but it has the best selection of quality, and the one-stop shopping of higher-end items along with drive-through pharmacy and marked-down gasoline make it a supermarket that I routinely drive all the way in from across town to.

Since the store has been enlarged the place is a mess especially since there are no cashiers in the produce area. One spends too much time walking trying to find things. Items are now in illogical places. Pepper was found in a small area in front of the eggs. The salad bar is a mess. They dont put out the wings and there is no scale for customers to find out how much they are spending. Also the containers are placed so no one can reach the items in the back rows. When I asked about the wings the employees got mad. It has good ingredients but customers have to be able to reach them. Kroger needs to hire more employees, install more registers and hire more couteous employees. Current employees seem overworked. I would replace the manager of the store.

This Kroger location had been our go-to grocer for the past four or five years, but recent changes have made shopping here unpleasant. Their produce selection is still better than the nearby Target and Wal-mart, but theyre always seems to be under-staffed -- especially on Sundays. That, in and of itself, wouldnt be awful, except theyre constantly running promotion booths on Sundays too. This leads to more shoppers (that they arent equipped to service) and CONSTANT, overly-loud loudspeaker interruptions "reminding shoppers to meet in near aisle X for a special prize". Its an incredibly annoying experience.

I just picked up the ugliest cake I have ever seen! I ordered a cake. I left a picture and with specific instructions to call me cause the decorator wasnt there. Did they call? No! Did they do close to the pic? Uh - No! And for them to leave a note behind my slip telling the decorator that they were so proud of them tells me that someone in training probably did This! That person has no business practicing on custom order cakes!!! None!!! Ive learned my lesson! If Sara isnt the one doing it.... just leave! Sara has always made fantastic looking cakes!! But Sara is on vacation.... Sara!!! Where art thou!!

So, came in at about 11pm.. saw a pretty big rat running from the back of the store near the deli to underneath the beer aisle.. told the guy working the self checkout about it to which he said "yeah, Ive heard stories, we have called the exterminator... how big was it?" Okay... stories?!! Plural??? And you called the exterminator? And its still there? Where there is one rat there is many... they tend to run in packs.. disgusting..

Their employees and management are wonderful! They are always kind and friendly willing to help you to find anything in the store you might need. Their produce, meat, bakery, and seafood dept is exceptional. They also give out reward points for card holders to save on gas and groceries. Last but not least they send you coupons in the mail to help you save more money on your groceries!!! My family and friends love Kroger.
