i went in this store the other day and it was nice organized however the people who work there are absolutely moronic. first off i asked the meat manager if they had a smaller rack of ribs and he flat out lied to me and said it would be more expensive. he told me that if hey cut the racks smaller then their would be two different types of meat.... i grew up on a farm and that was the dumbest thing i have ever heard in my entire life. especially for someone who makes a living cutting meat. secondly their co manager has a skin problem that is just revolting i would think that he would be on medical leave for that and he handles food... i mean his skin is literally falling off and half his lips are stuck together so when he talks to you you can hear his skin ripping. i couldnt look at him while he was speaking because i was so disgusted. and the bakery manager looked like she was about to take a customers clothes off as she was speaking to him how nasty! to top it all off i had this lady named Amy who is a cashier their check me out and i have to say that i have never in mjy entire life had such a bad cashier!!!!! she looked like she hasnt taken a bath in weeks! her face and skin was just nasty and you can see dirt under her fingernails and you can see old sweat marks on her uniform. she coughed and sneezed all over her hands then put her hands all over my food. i politely had to ask her to put back a few items that she had her hands directly on after releasing her bodily fluids and she got an attitude. then she wouldnt void a purchase because she rang it up wrong and as i asked for a manager and she flat out told me no! she didnt ask for my plus card i had to remind her. to top it all off the cocky bag boy bagged my food wrong and i got home and my eggs were smashed, my bread was ruined, and my cans were single bagged and the bag broke on the way into my home. all and all i will no longer go to this store.

Overall a terrible Kroger location. I pass by this one a lot and have second thoughts of even doing that. Everytime Ive gone is usually after 8pm. The lines are short and the customer service is great, but thats about it. Half the people that I see come here are usually normal customers, and the other half being loud, noisy, and disrespectful people that will go off on you if you even look in their direction. Over 75% of the products I have bought from here Ive had to try to return but mostly throw away. Ill see expired products all throughout the store. Ive had issues with this before, as well as family members and a few friends. The stores remain cleaned and organized, but what good is that when some products have dust on them or having terrible dates. And a warning too, stay away from the clearance section! This is another area with expired goods, but sometimes to another extreme. Ive seen food items anywhere from last week to a few months ago. Ive even picked up items contaminated with mold since theyve been sitting there so long. Come here for the clean atmosphere and friendly customer service, just be very careful, or better yet stay away from the food.

A while back I was checking out and realize that one of the store coupons I had was expired. I commented to the fact and said I need to throw that one away. The employee advised me that as long as it says store coupon and not manufacturer coupon even though it is past the expiration date Kroger will always honor it. They proceeded to check me out using all the coupons including those store coupons which were past the expiration date. Several months later I had an employee refuse to honor them. A manager was called and authorize that they be used. Today I was rudely advised by one employee and two managers that they do not honor it and as I can clearly see the expiration date has passed. They wanted to know the name of the person who had advised me that I could use them. I do not know the names of the people that work in their store. Obviously Ive always been a huge fan of the coupons that I received in the mail because of the fact that they didnt expire and was always satisfied with Kroger store brands. I am not a thief, I do not try to pull tricks. I am not a liar, and now I am No Longer a Customer.

My rating is for the bakery, not the rest of the store. Which is very unfortunate because it really isnt a bad store. This is the second year in a row that Ive tried to order a birthday cake from this bakery because we were having a birthday party at the venue directly next door but was inconvenienced either because they didnt have the cake kit or couldnt order the cake kit they advertised, or, this year, because of poorly trained cake decorators. All I wanted was a cake covered in daisies and butterflies. She told me she could only do roses, which, by the way, are harder than daisies and that she couldnt do butterflies. Its four globs of icing for the wings and a line down the middle for the body with 2 little antenna on top. Im not a decorator, and I could do it. That bakery is a joke and doesnt even deserve to be next door to a birthday venue.

Cashier & the old Lad, whom was walking around telling others what to do but doing nothing herself, were rude. Cashier failed to listen to us resulting in a big ordeal. Had to tell them to get a manager because they were getting snippy & old lady, Marian or something, were looking at me like I was stupid & tried to say theres nothing she could do to fix it & that I shouldve paid more attention. Fact is, I asked cashier he said yes. But he was wrong. Manager fixed it bit none of them apologized for the fiasco or the 24! Yes! 24 minute long trying to pay & leave process! THEY ALSO HAD A POORLY TAKEN CARE OF PRODUCE DEPT. STICKY FLOORS. HAD ITEMS RING UP WRONG PRICE. aside from Kroger prices & sales....it was a poorer ran store than most Krogers.

Its kind of a time traveling experience for me shopping here. Certainly not a modern store. But that is ok. This is one of the very few store that still bag your groceries and put it in a cart for you. Thats becoming a rare treat. I wish they would make garlic french bread on a regular basis. Every time I go just about the bakery has not made any. They tried selling the tubs of garlic butter. I bought some and it was awful. The rest of the store is pretty good. I talked up the butcher about how to cook brisket and got some good info. They typically premade guacamole made in store. Much more accessible than Walmart down the street.

I have been a regular customer of this location for many years and have to encounter a rude employee, I have witnessed many customers being very rude to the employees, especially the cashiers. Perhaps the employees are reacting to their treatment. I have to say I would rate the produce department one star but the bakery and pharmacy would be a 5+. Both these departments are very cheerful, friendly and helpful. I am rating the store with a three because the produce is not always as fresh as it could be and frequently has fruit flies. As for the employees, smile and they might just smile back.
