We have shopped at several Asian grocery stores in the Arlington area, and Hong Kong Market is our most frequented shop. We mainly go there for the frozen dim sum, as they have a great selection and reasonable prices. We also like to get our Lee Kum Kee sauces, jasmine rice, and rice noodles here, as well as other Chinese food items. The name "Hong Kong Market" is a little bit misleading because it is owned and operated by Vietnamese, but there are some brands and food items from Hong Kong. If youre needing help from the staff, dont count on getting it. They are not very friendly, and many of them dont speak English. Nonetheless, it is still our top choice in the area, saving us from having to drive all the way to Richardson or Plano for good Chinese food items. Hiep Thai right down the road across 360 is also a good place to find dim sum and other Chinese food staples.

I buy mostly hard-to-find stuff here. I cure my own bacon and they sell fresh cut-to-order pork bellies. I LOVE real Louisianna Crawfish (live) and they sell some of the best in the DFW area! They have a HUGE variety of fresh mushrooms at ridiculously low prices. We bought the sweetest Pineapple we have ever eaten there last weekend. They sell rabbit and duck meat, which is hard to find sometimes in our regular American stores. OUTSTANDING selection of veggies (Asian market so youd expect that) at killer prices. Fresh, LIVE seafood that they kill and dress to-order -- want it filleted, no problem; want it filleted with the skin on but scales off? No problem; want it simply gilled and gutted, no problem. They also have freshly baked French bread that is out of this WORLD good! Check em out, you will be glad you did.

Great place to pick up produce, seafood, chicken, and all sorts of Asian items. Want a Jackfruit? No problem. Need some shark? Theyve got you covered. Want live tilapia or catfish, or even dungeness crab or lobster? Bingo. Blue crabs too. Oysters, clams, and even periwinkles on occasion. And the prices are great. This is in a very cool little "mall" that houses a bunch of restaurants, a dry goods shop, and even an electronics department store, mostly Vietnamese owned and run. They have all sorts of celebrations within the Vietnamese community here as well. Its a fun place to shop.

I was expecting this to be waaaay better than the Richardson location, cleaner and bigger. But WRONG! It was very compact and dark. It smelled mostly fishy, but the produce department smelled nice. Not much cool stuff. The pumpkin was already expired the day we bought it. It was moldy, slimy, and smelly. It was rotten. The almond cookies had too much egg flavor. Not the best place to shop. Not fun. Overall, same as the Richardson location. Sorry I dont like it. Still prefer H-Mart and 99 Ranch.

This is one of the best Asian markets in Grand Prairie/Arlington. There are a variety of things you can get at this market. If you want to cook live catfish or crawfish, this is the place to go. It also has an endless selection of Ramune and ramen lol. Majority of Asian markets are dirty from my experience, however this place is actually very well kept and clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing selection and good prices...but VERY unhelpful...unfriendly staff...you smile they ignore...and when you go to check out...they act like they are doing them a GREAT favor giving them money but you are SO bothering them. Any other stores you go into..it doesnt matter skin color...but at this place if you are not like them...you are treated VERY rudely. Our money is good too!

Well all thus time I was wasting my time here. I visited HMart in Dallas and I will never come back to this place. I bought 3 lbs of mussels and more than half were dead. Waste of money. HMart has more fresh items. This place doesnt compare to HMarts huge warehouse of fresher items and its cleaner. They also have more little restaurants inside the market.

If the food is in any way related to "Asian", it will be here and in large variety. Canned, dried, fresh and frozen. The seafood is also available in many varieties live. This is THE place to get rice, in a multitude of varieties, and they have a good turnover, so the rise is fresh, which does make a difference.

Everything is authentic, there is clearly marked labels for things in English. However some of the products are not in English and you may have to know exactly what you are looking for in order to get what you want. The service is fast, and the place is clean. They have live fish and fresh USA raised meats.

Amazing variety! Theres so many shops and food to choose from. If you even want a grocery style to go to, theres one inside as well! The people are usually very friendly too. Love coming here with my friends to see the new things they have. Plus theres always something going on here.

Such a fun place to go and experience the various cultures offered throughout the whole plaza. It is also a very convenient place to go for pho and my favorite bubble tea. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to taste authentic Asian cultures.

I rate 4 stars due to the variety of foods/produce that they sell, I rate 2 stars or 1 for customer service in the meat and seafood section. Sometimes they acted like you are not there and when you ask for assistance they ignore you and walk away.

I like it. The seafood counter is a little slow and its not the cleanest place. Prices are reasonable for most goods( just like any grocery store). Other customers can be a little rude but they cant control that.

I love getting my ingredients for my oriental meals here. Prices are great. Has lots of little treats to surprise kids or husbands with. Love getting our Ramune sodas from here; Lychee flavor is my favorite.

They have a wide selection of instant ramen and dumplings, as well as other nice and convenient stores. The main store always has a weird fishy smell because they have fish in the back.

This market was better compared to other Asian markets Ive visited. However, the fish they sell there are all only deep frozen ones. Would have been better if they sold more fresh fish.

Great for the Asian shopping experience and food. Americans are scared of these places but its great for us as we get all the freshest seafood while they just get the frozen seafood.
