I spend a lot on groceries, pet food, gifts, & food donations. First Aldi experience, spent over an hour on 1-13-17: Aldi boxes fell apart on 3 sides when lifted twice. (TAKE TAPE & KNIFE.) Plus totes as I did. (But sadly, Not enough) Good prices & selection of items. Disorganized display, a jumble, no logic to location of food items. However, NO help from curt staffmember; the guy took my 1st cart away when 2nd cart was too full, leaving me, an elder, stranded with no help. First time there will be my last. FOR AWHILE. Will return to see if staff is more human next time. I am strong and can willingly lift and pack my own but not when my cart has no room and one cart apparently is the limit; I was doing fine until then, just needed 5 min. to get it all to my car nearby in handicapped area. (COPD). THEN he could have had my cart. They were not busy, many, many carts were available for others on both sides of the entrance. The lousy $ .25 was not an issue. (But I think that is a good idea to retain them in good shape) The male staff mbr walked off with my original cart so I asked for a little help (since he was reason I then needed it). He said to "use all the boxes I wanted" & walked off with my cart. I had to lift my heaviest items once again, balance it all and push an overloaded, unwieldy cart to my car. I understand why they were not as busy as I had expected from 4-after 5 p.m. on a Friday. They allow rude attitude. Sams or Kroger will get my money now.

I just popped in for a loaf of bread since I was right there. It has been a few years since I visited an Aldi--I forgot about the part of renting a shopping cart and no grocery sacks being available. I knew I wouldnt get out with only a loaf of bread so I was hoping I had one of my cloth shopping bags in my vehicle...nope...but I did find an empty Albertsons bag so I stuffed it in my pocket & went back in. The store was clean and well stocked with the items they had available, albeit, mostly a generic version. The vegetables looked as fresh as any other grocery store. Since it was 8:45, I dont blame them for only having one person checking out, but, when the people in front of me were placing one item at a time from their full cart onto the belt as it appeared they were budgeting at the register, I got a little impatient. I had 6 items in my fingers and the dude behind me had 3 items in a box. The cashier was very patient and didnt even roll his eyes when their card was denied the second time. I was hoping what looked like the manager was going to hop on a register since there were now 3 people in line behind me...nope. The cashier was very pleasant and got me out of there efficiently. The parking lot was not well lit and it made me just uncomfortable enough to think about my surroundings twice. I will pop in again but hopefully be better prepared for whats in store. (Pun intended :-) )

Great quality food at great prices. I tend to choose Kroger over Aldi because at Aldi you have to bag your own groceries and you dont get a lot of help, which can be difficult with young children. I also forget to bring a quarter pretty often for the carts. All in all I love Aldi, but its not the most convenient shopping experience.

On my last visit there, I had a problem with a new cashier (male) that wasnt careful with my groceries... Smashed my bread, crushed boxes with heavier items thrown on top, etc. When I asked him to be more careful, he acted like he could care less! TERRIBLE customer service!! I had to complain to a manager.

Best value and GREAT products. This store saves me almost 50% over regular grocery stores, even when I used coupons. Their brands are as good and oftentimes better than national brands. As a bonus they carry German products and specialty items for a European treat!

I love the clean, simple atmosphere and layout of this store. They sell great grocery products at a decent price. Weve had trouble with the poultry going bad, as well as the milk. But other than that its great. And their eggs are the cheapest around here!

The best products (though not branded with known names) at the best prices. The parking lot is cleaner than most any other and people return the carts because you have to pay a quarter to use one, which is then returned to you when you return the cart.

Meh, not really a fan. Very Germanic in the store layout leaving little room for exploration and pretty limited selection. I do get a kick out of seeing the different knock off brand names, very creative marketing types to come up with these names :-)

Watch the dates on products. Sometimes the produce is not good - mainly the green onions & cilantro. Produce is generally speaking good but it doesnt last as long as sprouts however it is almost lasts longer than Albertsons.

Aldi has great prices on great food. I would give it 5 stars, but I dont want everybody to know this little secret. You need a quarter for a cart and 6 cents for a bag, so what. The produce is great like everything else.

Depressing little store. I have to laugh even looking at this place --its below the dignity line....they have these everywhere Ive been, and to be blunt, they simply suck! The "quarter carts" are a piss poor idea.

I buy everything except my vegetables here. The prices on stuff is great and they have good quality items, but theyre produce department is pretty lackluster in both price and quality.

When fruit is "in season" they have the best prices. Sometimes I can find interesting gadgets for reasonable price and their cereals prices are thelowest I have found.

Cheap stuff but everything Ive gotten there Ive gotten again!!! I especially like the thin mint cookies, organic white cheddar macaroni, and cheeses (for only $2!)

Very busy store. Prices are great. Some items you take chances on whether youll like it or not but otherwise Ive enjoyed most items. The chips are fantastic.

Friendly and fast service. Supermarket very organized. You will most likely find what you are looking for within those 4-5 aisles of wonder.

Small store. Dont stock a large variety of items. You will probably need a trip to another store to complete more than a basic list.

I enjoy Aldis growing diversity, but its becoming too like a Big Box store in the fact that they dont always have the same items twice.

Many brands that one isnt used to. But many are just as good or better. Prices are hard to beat. Great place in my opinion.
