Let me introduce myself. My name is Jeremy, I am a full-time team leader in home improvement, with a schooling background in the fine arts. Painting is a passion of mine, when I have the time to. Outside of my work life, I help take care of my sister who has a serious heart condition that makes her unable to work, and look after her two little girls. Things can get tough for me at times, and my dream of furthering my education gets set to the back-burner as something I can only manage to pluck away at little by little. So why am I telling you this? Well, working in the business of customer service for 11 years, I have learned the best relationships, business or otherwise come from learning a little about a person. The reason I am writing this review, is because I want everyone to know Golling does not live up to the company slogan "Always There For You". Mid July, I came into the dealership looking to buy a good vehicle from a certified and trustworthy dealership, which is what I expected from a place such as Golling. A place where I was sure someone could help me pick out a vehicle and payment plan that I could afford. I have nothing bad or personal to say about my sales person, but unfortunately, I am not very happy with Golling, or the vehicle I purchased. First, I was told verbally that I would get free lifetime oil changes, even receiving a reminder of this in the mail after 4 months of owning my new car. This turned out to be serious misinformation, as the dealership does not provide free lifetime oil changes for my vehicle, which has a diesel engine and requires special synthetic oil. I was not told this, which was a huge factor in my purchase. Trying to reason over the phone got me no where but frustration, and some text messages saying I could get one "complimentary" oil change if I pay the difference of the synthetic oil. However, the problems did not stop there. Beginning in December, the car began running hard, giving me warning lights "Engine Fault", "Oil-Pressure, shut off engine!", the glow plug light, and service lights. I immediately took the car to a nearby and trusted mechanic who is certified to work on domestic and foreign vehicles alike. It turned out that the flywheel gears were completely chewed up, the oil switch was bad, and worse, to get to the flywheel, the transmission had to be removed. In the end, I was out of a vehicle for well over a week, and I now owe $1,363.60 in parts and labor. Still, I didnt lose my cool, I took the hit without getting upset. Less than two weeks after having my car back, the engine began to throttle hard, cut out and stall while driving, and completely shut down while idling. This is not safe. Now I dont have a dependable vehicle to get to work and back, to get my nieces to school or get to the grocery store. I am a hardworking person who contributes to the community, I work hard to keep great credit, and I have ambition. I dont feel entitled, but I feel like I deserve to have a safe, good running vehicle, especially when I only purchased it in July, spending $9000 at a dealership that I thought I could trust. After getting nowhere with the dealership, I had the car looked at again, this time metal was discovered in the oil. Now I am stuck with a car that I cannot drive without the risk of catastrophic engine failure. At this point, I just want to wipe my hands clean of this car. I dont want it anymore, I dont have the money to keep taking it in for repairs, and I cant afford to be out of a vehicle. Had to spend money I didnt have to buy a beater to get from point A to point B while I pay off the worst mistake I ever made. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Also, while my car sits parked where it can well be seen, made sure to have a decal in the rear window reading "GOLLING LIED TO MAKE THIS SALE".

May 2017 update: Anthony Jano at Golling Service arranged for a quick swap of my tires and pointed out a couple maintenance issues that are being swiftly addressed. He was mindful of my schedule and arranged help for me during a very busy (and unseasonably hot) day for the Service Department. Thank you for the great service! October 2016 update: I worked with Jesse Welch and Mason Brannan to purchase winter tires for my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. Jesse arranged very quick installation, and Mason made me aware of a great deal to get a considerable discount. I deeply appreciate Jesses and Masons assistance, as well as their teams, as I saved quite a bit of money and got very high quality tires. Both are highly professional and helpful! Danny Katzensteins fantastic treatment of my family continues to bring me back! He always makes sure we get a vehicle that we will be happy with along with the service and consideration that dealing with a consummate professional (as Danny definitely is) brings. I am very pleased with my latest vehicle, a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Limited (High Altitude)! Danny was very patient in finding a vehicle with the features I wished, made sure the timing was good for me, and was clear on what he needed to complete the transaction efficiently. He knows how to communicate well using social media, SMS, e-mail, and of course, voice calls, so I believe he is approachable by anyone. My advice to anyone working with Danny on a vehicle lease or purchase is to listen to him! As with my parents a few months ago, he comes up with ideas that may be surprising (I never expected my Mom to consider a compact SUV, but she loves it!) but they work out - each time! He has a wealth of experience AND the personal networking with his colleagues, near and far, to back up what is proposed. Trust is important in leasing or buying a vehicle, and Danny has earned my trust many times over! I highly recommend him and the very capable staff at Golling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat! Update: I also recommend working with Mason Brannan at Gollings Service department. Mason made suggestions on winter tires for my vehicle and ensured my car was promptly serviced when I needed an oil change. Mason is very personable and knowledgeable!

Our experience at Golling was better than we ever expected. We had been to 3 other "local" dealerships closer to our area prior to visiting Golling but were not happy with the way we were treated or the inventory they had on their lots. We made the 40 minute trip to Golling and was immediately impressed with the amount of vehicles available on the lot. As soon as we entered the dealership, we were greeted with a smile by every employee the entire time. Our salesman Heath Weishuhn was very friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle we were interested in, a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. He took us on 3 test drives with 3 different vehicles that day. He made us feel as if we were his only customer and never once did we feel like we were being rushed or pressured in any way. This alone was a complete relief and took the stress out of finding the right vehicle for us. We had several factors were were dealing with and he went out of his way to help "make it happen" for us. He touched base every day, without any pressure. I was impressed with the customer service not only from him, but from the entire team. People always held open doors, said hello as we passed or just gave us a quick smile. We received an e-mail from the office team to let us know they were there to help if we needed it also. When we bought the car, Heath spent a great deal of time with us going through each setting, button, and knob so we knew everything about the car. We decided on buying slush mats and the parts guy, Drew came right over, talked to us about them, gave us a great price and brought them over and put them into our car for us. He also helped us pick out some new Jeep gear like hats and a shirt. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and would like to thank Heath for helping us find our perfect vehicle. WE LOVE IT!! We will definitely be back for our next Jeep purchase. We have also decided to make Golling our dealership for service, even despite the fact that it is not in our immediate area. And we will recommend all of our Jeep-owned friends (there are 5 of us) to also come to Golling when they are ready again too!
