Ok, love Total Wine but if there is a hell on earth, it is this parking lot! This location is attached to my other favorite place, Trader Joes which makes total madness! The range of human emotion goes from pulling into the parking lot with excitement only for it to plummet down into the depths of anger you could not imagine existed inside of you moments ago where you become a psychopath ready to plow somebody over if they dont get their knees to their chest and cross the damn street, and do it in an orderly goddamn fashion!! So I can park my damn car and purchase massive amounts of goods! Its about ME!! Once you exit your car you then become a pedestrian and youre thinking, I wish somebody would run into me with a car! Damn right youll wait! Watch out Im a pedestrian! I have the right of way! My sense of entitlement overwhelms my senses and aplifies cause, hello, Edina! Once I get into the store and get back out in the parking lot it all begins again. Then I go home and drink myself stupid while eating delicious Trader Joe products and I continue to return every week. Lol. See you soon!

My friend and I went to Total Wine on 12/22/16 and at the check out, his plastic bag broke. So the cashier double bagged his items. I checked out right after my friend and my items were double bagged as well. However, when I got home and took the bag out of my car, one of my items slipped out from the bottom of the bags and dropped onto the ground then broke into pieces. The bags were obviously of poor quality but my dissatisfaction comes from the fact that Total Wine likely was aware of this bad batch of plastic bags; and yet continued to use them. This shows their lack of care in bagging items for customers. It may have been driven by cost saving to use plastic bags versus carefully package bottles in paper bags with paddings like they usually do, due to a larger volume of sales during this time of the year. Nonetheless, this experience has caused me great dissatisfaction (and waste of a great bottle of 2Ginger). I do want to thank you a staff inside the store who helped me to find this bottle of 2Ginger.

At first youll love it ... then either carefully watch the checkout cashier or review your receipts or dont buy more than two or three items ... in two separate visits during the holiday rush a day a part and with different cashiers I got home only to discover that I had been double charged for items not purchased ... I guess the business model is built on making up those discounts when the stored is packed to the gills you are purchasing more than a dozen items and cant wait as a shopper to get the heck out of there ... needless to say it was done on the eve of Christmas dinners and celebrations so the mistake wasnt discovered until over the holiday weekend. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ...

The place to buy alcohol. They have by far the best pricing on everything. If you do find something cheaper somewhere else, its because its on sale. Even then their sale price will be pretty close. The selection here is amazing. Hundreds of choices for wine. A lot of them are rated and have cards informing you about the product. Even though this place is huge its not very difficult to find what youre looking for. Most things are clearly marked and even if you do struggle, a staff member would gladly point you in the right direction. The staff is also always down to chat or inform you about all of their products. It only takes on stop to make you a life long customer.

My first visit really sums up this place. I entered, showed a random employee a blury picture of wine from the night before. He immediately know where it was in the store and before I could walk to the end of the isle to get it, another employee had found me, knew what I was looking for from employee #1 and had recommended another produce from the brand that he liked more than what I was there to get! I ended up w/3 bottles of wine instead of 1 and really doubt that I will shop for alcohol anywhere else ever again!

A monument to the miracle of the modern economy. Vast selection, at least 20% cheaper than any other liquor store Ive seen. Great variety of foreign alcohol you wouldnt normally see at very low prices. Im not a big wine drinker but the handwritten descriptions and personal recommendations on many wines make their otherwise intimidating selection very accessible. Honestly the only thing I dont understand is how any other liquor store in the twin cities is still in business.

Always busy, takes way longer then it should. Employees dont even know the layout of the store/where to find anything. They say its alphabetically arranged which it is not, its mixed together. If they have to find a box because its out on the shelf, you could stand there for 30+ minutes because they have to find the box in all the boxes that are thrown on top of shelves, and they still may not even find it. This store is a pain. Even the parking lot is a zoo.

Meh. Im judging strictly on beer shopping. Cashiers were nice enough and other employees were too if you tracked one down. Pretty good for a big box store, really. The prices are always good at every Total Wine I have been to. Selection of beer at this store is pretty large, but not terribly impressive. I had hoped for more, but they dont seem to cater to the crazy rare craft beer chaser -- more for solid prices for regulars, I suppose.

Selection is amazing. Unfortunately it is a huge, impersonal warehouse. Staff is friendly, but has rarely been able to help with my questions (true of all locations that I have been to). For a warehouse style place, I would have expected better prices. Never better than $1 cheaper than other stores that I shop at. In fact, prices are most often the same or may be $1 more, just as frequently as they are $1 cheaper

Unreal prices. Literally. Terrible for the community to support such a destructive corporation taking away from every established liquor store in a 15 mile radius including the municipal liquor stores in Edina; effectively cutting funding for many different city programs including educational programs for children. Thank goodness we can save two dollars though.

Rarely, if ever, do I find anything that I want at this place -- whether it be local craft beer, nationally-distributing craft beers, or even things as simple as oversized ice cube molds, I walk out empty handed more times than I actually buy anything at this place. Still havent learned my lesson though..

Their busiest Minneapolis location. Possibly the most convenient to get to as its centrally located, but parking is usually tough, inside is relatively crowded, and the staff are usually busy with other peoples questions especially during peak times. Still the same great deals though!

Huge selection of wines, beer, and spirits. There are usually tastings all over the store, you just need to look for them. One downside, it can get PACKED! the parking lot is a complete mess most of the time. Do yourself a favor and park across from it near World Market.
