OMG.....I am absolutely disappointed..almost to where my feelings are hurt. Beware...Beware...Beware..of spending your hard earned money here. To begin with I worked in a furniture store for 2 years, and I understand the process when entering a furniture. We were greeted by a gentlemen, and we told him that we were looking for childrens furniture from website for my daughters room. I like space, but the guy never checked on us....I am not sure if it wasnt a large enough sale or he perceived that we wouldnt buy anything. So as we were sitting on a reclining sofa another salesperson approached us, and we told him that someone greeted us, but he never checked in to see if we had questions. The 2nd salesperson said I know, that is why I checked on you. He stated that he didnt know why some of the salespeople do that. After conversation I told the 2nd salesman that we were actually closing on our home that next saturday....and, we came in for the childrens furniture, but we also needed to furnish the house. So, forward a week.....$7000 later. We utilized the financing 3 year financing interest free(same as cash), we were told that we had to pay a certain amount within 6mths, with the remaining amount over the remainder of the promotion. We set our plan of repayment based on what was presented to us. This is not even stating how we had to send pieces back for service, and waiting on pieces for months...but, we did purchase furniture that was out-of-stock. So after the customer service person stated that they couldnt give us a time frame when we would receive our furniture...we waited and we finally received our replacement furniture.....Yes, we finally have everything!!! Well, today I speak with the finance company and they tell me that the 1st six months have interest actually, and the payments made is split between to different promotions. Now, I understood there was two promotions, because our order was so large, but my salesperson continued to reiterate pay the first six months amount first, so you wouldnt accrue any interest on the amount owed. They did stated that the payment would be on both promotions, but in the explaining, it seemed as though because it was one order the payments wouldnt be split up......in essence, if we make the payments as we plan...we still would have been tacked with the super high interest rate because our entire payment wasnt going to the 6mths promotion. I called in, and I was met with we told you by both the finance manager and the general manager. I told the general manager Anthony....you were right there when the salesperson was presenting the payments in a manner that suggested that they would apply to the 6mth first. He(general manager) said he doesnt know anything about the finance, so I would have to continue speak with the person(finance manager) I requested to be transferred from. I asked him well I need to speak with his supervisor, and Anthony stated that he wouldnt give me his name. I feel that it was handled very poorly, and there was no amends to be made regarding the misrepresentation of the finance payments. Based I my experience I will not return nor would I recommend any friends/family/business associates purchase furniture at Harlem Furniture. I am still looking for the Anthonys(General Manager) supervisors contact information.

This has been the worst experience of my life, I will never purchase anything from here again. I purchased a table set, sleeper sofa and a chest that was on the floor. It took a month for me to actually receive the sofa because they kept pushing back the delivery date. We moved into a new apartment with no sofa for a month. When I purchased they PROMISED me it would be there by a certain date, maybe even earlier. Nope. Try later. And all they offered was an insincere generic "I apologize for the inconvenience" and half off their inflated delivery charge. The chest from the floor had another one stacked on top of it and when I received it it turned out there was damage to the top (clever way to hide it on the floor) but since it was a floor item thats the final price, too bad for me. When I finally received the sofa the bed isnt even level. You feel your blood rushing to your head. A brand new, $1,000.00 sleeper sofa and we cant even use it due to apparently sub par craftsmen ship. So I call about it and they offer to schedule a tech to come out in a week and a half. You of course wont know what time theyre coming until the day before so I have make serious arrangements to my work schedule to accommodate. Theyre supposed to come out Thursday. I get a call TUESDAY EVENING, not even 48 hours prior, telling me I need to email them photos and am further advised the tech wont come out without the photos. I email the photos this morning to find out it takes 24 hours for the service department to review before they determine what needs to be done so they wont be coming out tomorrow now anyway. Theres a furniture store right down the street at 75th and Rt 59 - PREMIER FURNITURE OUTLET - by Hobby Lobby with better prices, delivery is a FRACTION of the cost, they offer 12 months 0% financing AND THEY DONT CHARGE OR BILL YOU until you have received and are completely satisfied with your product(s). Ive already made two payments on a sleeper sofa that I cant use and cant even get fixed in a timely manner.

Some of the worst customer experience I have ever had. My fiance and I went into the store looking to buy a new mattress. I believe the salesman that stalked us name was Victor. Victor came off like a nice guy and wanted to give us space to check out the mattresss they had to offer. As he paced back and forth while we sat and laid on mattress, he could not stop pushing their financing offers and how he would throw in free shipping. Which was funny because their promo was offering free shipping. After the fiance and I settled on a mattress that we liked, I asked him about the 30% deal they had going for the memorial day weekend. Victor instantly informed me that it did not apply to the mattress. Keep in mind all I needed was a mattress and no box spring. Victor knew this...When he told me that the 30% was not for any mattress, I then asked him why every sales tag that was attached to every mattress had the big numbers 30% off entire purchase next to it. He informed me that the price shown was the discounted price. I told him that the fiance and I would talk about it. He later came back to offer 2 $150 pillows he would throw in to our deal. I thought this was funny because while he was trying to persuade us with pillows, I was on the room place website and was able to get 30% off in their online checkout promo. The fiance did not want me to inform Victor and just asked to leave....which we did. We went across the street and was pleased with the sales experience at Sleepys (who also informed me that 2 other customers had a terrible experience that day at the room place). All in all I was disappointed in the salesmans knowledge of promotions offered by his company. It felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman that wanted to make his commission that day. I wont be going to this location ever again.
