The good: Bought a car from here for less than half of the retail price, it only needed new front brakes. The fees seem a bit high though but the process is fast. The ladies at the front counter are great, always joking and smiling. You can inspect the cars before the auction as long as you want. The bad: Its an auction so youre buying "as is where is" meaning there is no warranty of any kind implied, if you are not mechanically inclined I strongly recommend you to either take someone with you that knows about cars or to buy at a dealership. There WILL be lemons, there WILL be cars with hidden or not so noticeably problems, the catch is to find what those problems or possible problems are. Bottom line, if you expect to buy a car that needs absolutely nothing then auctions are not for you.

I went to this auction 3 times. My first 2 experiences were great. I bought cars with no problems and got great deals too. Recently, this place has really changed their business model. What I use to love about this place was that it was for the public and mostly all the cars were accessible for the public.More recently this has become more of a dealers auction. You are competing here with professionals who buy 5-6 cars a week. They know all the tricks of the trade and you as a regular joe get screwed. Be extremely careful with this place. It has become quite shady over the years. If you go pay close attention to your surroundings and dont bother bidding on newer cars. You cant beat the dealers

Ive purchased eight cars here since 1987. The price of every car (including all fees) was much less than any other place for the same car. The prices were much lower than the N.A.D.A. and Blue Book Prices. After driving each car for several years, with proper maintenance, I was able to receive more $$$ than I paid. Cars Ive purchased at Carriage Trade Auto Auction included: Cadillac Eldorado Deluxe, Thunderbird Fila Model, GMC Sierra Van, Toyota Camry XLE, Lexus ES 300 XL, Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Model, and Audi A2 Quatro Turbo. No dings or scratches appeared on any of my purchases, nor did I spend more than $275. on any car for repairs. Several needed nothing more than an oil change.

bought a car there few years ago and I was on a budget, although I got the car the fees were a big disappointment. As for the car during the drive home It started leaking OIL EVERYWHERE!. Lucky for for me Im a mechanic and found the source of the oil leak and fixed it. where as someone who does not know about cars would end destroying their engine and end up paying hundreds/thousands of dollars for repair. If you dont know anything about cars bring someone with you that does, because you could end up with a junker and thats time wasted and money lost, for instance auction fees, tittle fees, tag fees, taxes and cost of the car.

Carriage trade auto auction is a place where dealers get rid of bad cars. I bought 3 cars there and every car was bad, one had a bad transmission, another the front right tire control arm broker after driving the car home from the auction. The third car lost oil pressure and the engine may be bad, the big dealers matt slapp and main line auto auctioned these cars off as is but they should not sell unsafe cars. you are better off buying cars from Craiglist and having a mechanic check them out . Stay away from the Auctions.

Dont buy or sell a car at here! I tried to sell my car at the auction and had it sabotaged. They let people into the cars beforehand. Someone sabotaged the car so that it would sell for cheaper. I ended up with a few missing fuses and coolant all over the engine. Not only that, Carriage "misplaced" the car so it didnt even show up at auction. I would highly recommend not buying or selling a car from this place. They have some shady people on the lot and you dont know what youre getting.

You really have to be skilled with cars and inspection before buying from any auction. Though you can find some good deals, cars are sold as is. I bought a car from here years ago and looking back, I should have flipped it because it only had minor issues and I got it for a good deal. How much youll pay depends on how many people are interested in that vehicle. If not many people are after that vehicle you can walk away with a pretty good deal. The sales representatives are cool.

Theyre mean by all means The idea is great, but the process is dishonest (bidding and arbitration) . Its only good for dealers (professionals) or customers buying for less 1k, otherwise youll definitely regret for overpaying or tricked by green light scam. I bought twice from there and I know at least 5 people buyed from there. No one dare ever to go back.

Very well run auction. The people giving bad reviews saying stuff like "dealers clear check engine lights" and "the cars there are junk" just dont understand how a car auction works. Thats the only complaint I have is that its open to the public and it draws in people that dont know what theyre doing and really just shouldnt be there.

I have been a customer of Carriage Trade for years now. I would describe my experiences there as nothing short of professional and courteous 100% of the time. The employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. They offer everything I need when it is time to purchase a vehicle. I would shop nowhere else for a vehicle!

I previously bought a car here and we were so pleased with our experience that we came back. When we moved to Los Angeles I discovered Repokar Auto Auction and added it to the list of my favorite online auctions. They really have a wide selection of cars to choose from. Im happy I had the occasion to deal with them.

this auction is a junkyard they should not sell half of the car that they have there every car it has a problem they ring them up so that way they look nice and prettytheir fees are ridiculous they charge you for by his fee and a separate title fee never heard of something like that before stay away be aware

The people that works there are nice and very helpful. But theres a lot of hiding fees after you win a bid. Imagine getting a car for 1,100 , having your own tag and already insured. and still having to pay almost $400 extra. In fees and tax and title transfer and all. To me that dont make any sense.

Bad experience, bought a car mileage on the windshield was wrong. Vehicle had over 100,000 mileages on the odo, dealer wrote on the windshield was less than 100,000. Paid $500.00 deposit, talk to a manager to buy different car. Manager did not want to get bothered, Never going back again.

I bought a 2011 Honda civic. Its running excellent for me. But i know you cant just go and buy cars there. You should first inspect the ones you need and make sure its all fine. So put some effort and get a sweet fruit. The employees are a great help. they are kind and help full.

A friend of mine told me great things about this place he also told me he been buying cars from them for 20 years and never had any problems. The rules are very clear on their web site.Find out my brother paid for a car here too A few years back but was happy for what he paid for
