Was interested in a jeep they had online. Advertised as a reliable 4x4. I spoke with Mike who swore up and down on the phone that the vehicle was great. I asked if it looked just as good in person as it does in the photos and he said yes. I asked if there was any rust and he told me no. He told me that they just did a complete tune up on the jeep and it is ready to go. He arbitrarily told me the vehicle was a one owner, zero accident. I asked for a vehicle history report and they said that they dont do that. (Which is a lie, because a dealer is not going to give the same trade in value on a 2 owner car with an accident as they would a 1 owner car with no accidents). Nonetheless, Mike encouraged me to stop by. Before my appointment, I printed the carfax on the vehicle myself and found that it was indeed a 2 owner with a previous accident. Despite this, I decided to see the vehicle anyway. When I got there, the Jeep was not anywhere close to the great shape that Mike said it was. It was a complete rust bucket with a ton of cosmetic issues that they did a good job of hiding while photographing the vehicle. The vehicle was NOT tuned up at all, the spark plugs were old and corroded. There wasnt even an oil cap on the motor, instead they stuffed a rubber ball on top. Talk about ghetto. It doesnt stop there. The AC in the car was completely toast. Transmission was rough. And it wouldnt even shift into 4x4. This car needed a lot of work, before it can be considered anywhere close to reliable. They wasted my morning, I only came in predicated that Mike was being an honest business man and giving me an honest description of the car as I was ready to buy cash. I know a lot about jeeps, so I know what I am looking for. Instead they were trying to pawn off a vehicle with numerous problems undisclosed. From the looks of things, I can only imagine the same practice goes for all of the vehicles they had on their lot. STAY SWAY FROM THIS GHETTO DEALER.
