***SEE UPDATE BELOW!!*** Purchase a new 1500 Ram Longhorn. Best truck I test drove by far! Chris James was knowledgeable and very helpful without being pushy. I wanted a few things switched out on the truck- fender flairs, no problem. Larger, more aggressive tires, no problem-even to the point that, although due to a miscommunication, they brought in the exact tire and size I thought would work on the truck to try. When this proved to be to big, they got the next size down which look great! Again, no problem. I was impressed with Big O new car sales! Now to experience their service center which, from what Ive read here, may not be so hot> Fingers crossed! *****UPDATE****** Breakdown of service over the past 17 months- 1) Oil change 07/17/14 No problem other than waiting 1.5 hours for an oil change with an appointment. 2) Oil change/radio-nav update needed 10/09/14- Even with an appointment, nav could not be fixed that day. Waited on oil change 1 hour! - 3 weeks later, I discovered oil in my driveway. The tech who changed the oil- inv# DOCS203436 did NOT lube the oil filter seal. Amateur move at best, incompetent most likely. Didnt have my work truck all day. 3) Tire rotation/ Navigation system repair (see above) 11/21/14- Yes, nearly a month later! Now saying they need to order a new radio! Kept my truck all day for this! 4) 12/08/14- Finally- Navigation working. Didnt have to replace radio at all. Re-flash from Chrysler. 1-1/2 hour wait. 5) 10/13/15- Scheduled SAFETY RECALL service plus another nav issue related to the update made thru Chrysler. Best available date was 10/29/15. My phone did not alert me of the appointment but neither did the people whom I was paying to service my truck! So, once again, must call to reschedule. 6) Called to re-schedule. I was asked whether I wanted an oil change, which could be done next day, or do I need to speak to Recall appointment scheduler??? I was informed that the nav would also need to be handled by Recall scheduler....earliest was out 2 weeks!! ( I was never given this information during the previous call) Further, I asked the girl why they didnt call their customers to inquire when someone misses an appointment. I noted that the system tells them when an intake appointment time is available so it surely shows the service people when the customer is due in. Not calling to confirm an appointment or even calling to determine why the customer didnt make it in at their scheduled appointment time SCREAMS "WE DONT GIVE A S**T WHETHER YOU SHOW OR NOT. WE HAVE PLENTY OF OTHER CUSTOMERS." The young lady with whom I was speaking didnt have an answer other than, we dont have a way to do that. ???? PLEASE NOTE THAT SINCE THE BAD OIL CHANGE, IVE NOT HAD THEM DO IT AGAIN. I had even paid extra for service when I bought the truck! Perhaps "the owner" would want to make that issue right by reimbursing me for that charge? ( I am giving very detailed review here since the "owner"- Jake, apparently, responded to my original review of the excellent service when purchasing the truck.) I was left with no other choice but to say goodbye. I called McKinney Dodge in Easley, whom I never dealt with, the service department informed me that by law, they are required to make any safety recall repairs when the vehicle is in for any service! Further, they will see my truck on 11/10 at 9am and I can be assured of a reminder notice. We will see. But so far, McKinney is beating the pants off Big O in the "service" arena. Since service is where the money is, why wouldnt Big O make a much more concerted effort to satisfy their customers?? The reviews here speak volumes. The canned responses by "the owner" dont mean much when the reviews on service continue to be poor. Since "HATE" is such a strong word, "Disliked it" will suffice. MY FEARS WERE REALIZED. THANK YOU BIG O!

When I originally called and said that I would like to purchase a new car I was handed over to Ike. I explained my relatively good credit scores, above average income AND a recent credit blip that could be a impediment to me getting my new car or at least a decent interest rate. I asked Ike if he could look at my numbers and let me know if they could get me financed. He told me I needed to come in. Keep in mind the reason I didnt come in instead of calling was 1. I didnt have a car and 2. I live 40 minutes away. But he was sure from what I told him that they could get me into the car that I wanted (he never took the time to simply ask someone in finance if I could actually get financed). So I took his word and spent $45 one way on uber to come to Greenville in the pouring rain. Once I arrived I was greeted by a very nice lady at reception and a few minutes later introduced to Ike who then handed me over to Brent. I cant speak highly enough of Brent. He was highly professional, honest and straight forward..I appreciated that. I gave him all of my documents paystubs, license, bank statement, the usual stuff and after discussing what I wanted with him he took all of my information to finance, including the information that I had told Ike the day before over the phone. Within 3 minutes I was told I could be financed for the car I wanted but with extremely high interest. The kind of interest that makes your payment $800 a month. I was told they could put me in a Chrysler 200 but that wasnt what I traveled 40 minutes in the rain for. While I appreciate Brents professionalism, had Ike taken 3 minutes when I called to simply ask the question instead of trying to get me in the building all of us could have saved A LOT of wasted time, energy and on my part money. I left annoyed but not defeated. In my uber home (another $50) I called another dealership. This salesman took all of my information over the phone, had me send him the exact same documents I had just given at Big O AND more importantly spoke to someone in finance about my situation without requiring me to further inconvenience myself. Two hours later I had my bank approval for my 2017 Chrysler 300 with only $500 down and a very comfortable monthly payment. Ill close with this. I suggest never going into a dealership that doesnt take your seriously and take the time to address your concerns via the phone. We all have busy lives and they have the technology to give you a very good idea of where you stand BEFORE you set foot on the lot if they choose to. I would not recommend this location although I would recommend working with Brent should you choose to. I think if I had gotten him on the phone initially I would have been able to save nearly $100 in my bank account and a couple of hours of my time.

Worse car repair experience ever!!! I had my car towed to a friends shop and he had it towed to Big O Dodge because I was having issues with computer. My car was at the shop for over 6 weeks during which time I had to pay out of pocket for a rental. William was assigned to my car and after 2 weeks of me trying to reach out to him he finally returned my call and told me that he had no idea what was wrong with my car. He told me he was reaching out to Chrysler Corp. and that he would get back in touch with me. Another week passes by so I called back and explained that I was having to pay for a rental and I needed my car he gave me the number to Chrysler and told me to reach out to them. I did and they assigned me a case # and they called to discuss with William the issues. I talked back to William and was told that he had replaced a body module ($800) but that it didnt fix the problem and my car still would not start. I was then assured I wouldnt be responsible for this bill. After numerous conversations with me, the original mechanic, and Chrysler William assured us that we would not be paying for that part and I was looking at a repair bill of around $600. Finally after 5 weeks I talked to Mark who is Service Dept Manager we talked about background I explained everything about my car and he said he would check with William about the part. William called me again and said I did indeed need the part but that Mark said they would pay for it because of what I was told. A week later I called back to check with William on any updates and was informed he is no longer employed with them. (I wonder why?) Im transferred to Mark who informs me my car is ready but the repair bill is $1561. After a lot of complaints he agrees to lower it to $1400 only $800 more than I was told. So six weeks and $1400 later I go pick up my car which is now ticking and it was not before hand. I go get Mark and he says for around $700-$1000 more he can fix it. I have to pay for something it wasnt doing before. I have my friend look at car again to see about the ticking. He is unable to diagnose the problem and since I have spent over $1500 on rental and $1400 on repairs I cant afford to fix the problem right now but he did see the alternator Big O Dodge had replaced had wires sticking out and the wire cover was just hanging off. The bottom of my front end has been damaged and the piece was tied back on with a piece of wire. Save your self a ton of money, time, and run around AVOID THIS PLACE!
