If "nails done anytime" is to be advertaised, something needs done to make that a fact. Yesterday was my third attempt to get one of my dogs nails done. The first time I called ahead and was assured it was a good time, and within a half hour when I arrived, "were sorry, that person has gone home." The next time the person was not there so no one could do it. Not even the two people in the grooming area working on dogs. This last time, after being ignored for ten minutes, it was made clear that my dog was not even going to be taken until the dog who had come just in front of us was done having his nails done. Eventually, as though it was very much putting the groomer out, she did check my dog in, but then ignored taking my dog so I could do something else, like shop for pet stuff. Before the acknowledgment of our existence standing in front of the counter in the shop, another dog was delivered prior to payment being made. They could have easily just got in their car and left. However, there we stood waiting, because no one can even look at a dog unless it is their specific duty to deal with that dog, AND no one can explain this fact to people who are waiting with dogs in hand. If getting nails done is not going to be a drop-in service, I understand. If it is going to be prioritized to the least trained and present individual, I suppose I can understand that to. However, please remove the advertising and make it by appointment, and teach all the groomers to at least speak to the customer. They are grooming a dog six feet from where I am standing. I think they can handle speaking to me as I stand.....for 15 minutes.....only to leave disgusted.

Today was one of the worst experiences weve had with my friend and her service dog. We were looking for a collapisible bowl for her service dog, and asked dawn the store manager for help. I made sure to tell her while asking for the item that it was for a service dog...guess she ignored it. After she helped us find the item she proceeds to touch and call my friends service dog with her harness on. I was so shocked because surely someone who works at Petco knows about service animals.... My friend then proceeded to tell her to please not touch her dog shes working. The manager then said something matter of factly and walked off.. Dang couldve at least admitted you messed up. Not impressed...

The tanks (inside and out) were filthy. There were 6 dead fish in one tank. One had been dead a long time (evidenced by the fact that all his insides were gone) and the others had been dead at least a few days. The employee getting fish for someone else dropped one of the open bags and u scooped up the fish with his hand. As he was doing this a closed bag fell from his cart onto his head then the floor. He picked up the closed bag, finished bagging the one that had fallen on the floor and gave them to the customer. This experience convinced me that this company doesnt care about the living animals they sell. They only care about money. I will never shop here again.

Ive spent over a thousand dollars at this place in total. Went in with my dog who picked up a toy, as usual. Played with it for about 3 minutes, and i saw a hole in it. So the manager walked up and told me my dog couldnt play with any toys. I told him my dog didnt do that, i took it away as soon as i saw a hole. If i thought my dog tore something up i would have bought it. It was a 15 dollar toy. He kept arguing and wouldnt let it go, so i left. Obviously i wont spend any more money at a pet co. Seems crazy to loose a customer over such a stupid thing. O well.

A very rude employee at this store. I bought 2 firebelly toads which have to have water and the guy with the gray hair put the toads with water and moss in a cardboard box. When I asked to have a cup he came and told me saying they would be fine in the most hateful way I have other animals and this guy treated me like I was stupid. Never have I been treated like this before at this store. Other employees thought using the cardboard box was rediculous as well. The box is now soaked with water and starting to fall apart and they only have been in the box for 5 minutes....

I really like Petco! They have most anything you need for a variety of different animals. I have two Great Danes. I always buy their food here. Petco has many quality choices for your four legged friend! I also have fish in my outside pond. I can purchase everything I need for them here too! Oh, I almost forgot, they have full service dog grooming. You can also place orders online.

This place has it all. Petco purchased the store from the prior franchise and really turned it around. They have top brands and good pricing, dog grooming services too. Something I like is the adoption services that offer cats. They do a great job re-homing cats. They also carry raw meat foods for the folks that are feeding primal style to their pets.

I like the products sold here, they have a great selection. I also love swinging by on adoption days. My one problem is the staff, especially those up front always seem...tired? Frustrated? Just plain old not engaged. I know retail jobs can be tiring, its not easy by any means but I wish the staff were a little friendlier.

Super old. Looks as though it has not received an update since the eighties. Also walked past many employees several times looking for a product, and no one asked if I needed help. But they all seemed friendly enough, Im sure they would have been helpful if I had asked for assistance.

I had to wait 8 hrs for 1 kitten.That is so sick poor thing is not getting help.. They dont have a key what if it was choking they have NO key... They didnt have phone they have no respect for there animals or costemers!

Dirty, smells, poor condition of store, aquariums with fish are always dirty with many sick fish and quite a few dead ones. The tank with plants smells like a sewer. Absolutely disgusting.

Have most of what you want. Just no customer service, and the people working there seem like that hate it. It depressing to go into. They do have about anything you need for pets though.

The grooming staff is very professional and passionate about what they do. Our pets were well groomed and very comfortable here at Petco. We will go nowhere else for service.

I have shopped here for years. Have had foster dogs and dogs of my own trained here. Used grooming facilities and found useful support equipment for dog assistance.

We live down the road and always buy our liter and cat food from here. Service is good and they always try and help with a coupon if available.
