BEWARE!!! Do not consider Banfield Wesley Chapel as your veterinary of choice! This has been the worst experience with any veterinarian I have ever dealt with. We were told by a PetSmart associate that the 2 sister Guinea Pigs that were medically cleared by the Banfield vet, were ready to be adopted. I took time off work to take my daughter to adopt them. My daughter saved her money over several months to purchase the Guinea pigs and all the necessities needed to provide the warmest welcome to their new home & family. Upon arrival to collect the little babies, we were told that one of the girls had a very cloudy eye by the PetSmart associate. (This should have been caught, considering the Banfield vet supposedly medically cleared them that morning) We decided to adopt the one sister and were told the other one would be seen by Banfields vet again that day. This was 3/11/16. I was also promised a call back from a PetSmart associate that evening. We never received a call. I called PetSmart to check and was told they were too busy to evaluate her and to call back the next day. When I finally got someone to confirm, 4 days later; they advised she was on medication drops and would be reevaluated on Friday morning 3/18 and they would contact me to confirm. Again no call. I contacted them Saturday 3/19 and they said they were too busy and would re-evaluate her on Sunday morning. Once again no call, I went into the store and to the Banfield desk where I was told they are "slammed" and the front desk associate stated the vet said he was going to evaluate her and to come back at 5:00 near closing time. My daughter and I hung around the area for almost 2 hours to be told. "He said hes too busy and will get to her when all the other pets were done." I was promised a call by the front desk associate as soon as he was done with his evaluation. Surprise surprise...no call. I called PetSmart the next day 3/21, asked for a manager. The manager then transfers me to an associate that didnt know anything and was told the manager for Banfield was gone for the day. A little over an hour went by and that same associate (not a manager) called me and said Im sorry but the Guinea pig now has developed a cough and wheezing and needs another week of antibiotics. Im confident this is a result of her being held for almost 2 weeks in a shoe box sized plastic container. In my opinion her well being was compromised due to the negligence of Banfield veterinarians and Petsmarts inability to have a reputable reliable veterinary affiliate. We can only hope the little guinea pig, my daughter planned to name "Angel" will survive and be adopted by a loving family. I would like to add; there were 2 employees that tried their best named Jessica and Ryan; unfortunately, it was out of their hands. They were not the ones that made empty promises or did not show empathy to our feelings. They demonstrated compassionate feelings toward the Guinea pigs. I do not fault them. Our pets are our family. I have spent a large amount of money on my Chihuahuas prescription dog food among other pet supplies and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Took my dog there with no fleas no skin irritation .asked them to cut my baby shorter then he came in but not shaved. Pick him up he is shaved short . noticed he was scratching alot his skin was red and he had fleas. I called them talked to grooming manager . she told me he didnt get the fleas there and they use hypogenic shampoo. Guess i just gotta take him to the vet spend more money from his grooming visit. Never again will i take my dog there. Was looking for an apology or 10 % off next visit something to try and make it right. Instead i told her im never coming back she said ok. I find that at 830 am they have major attitude and they look like they dont enjoy there jobs.

Rudest service I have ever received there. Will not be going back. The man groomer there should not give his opinion if it is not asked for. I was having a conversation with a female groomer in regards to how much longer I should expect to wait to pick up my dog. I was not upset with how long it was taking, but with the gentlemans (not) tone of voice. I can certainly find other grooming closer to home and I am sure they will be happy to have the business.

I went to PetSmart of Wesley Chapel today to pick up food for my dog and I decided to look at the fish. First of all a good 80% of the tanks were empty but when I came across one that had fish I was looking around I noticed 2 of the fish were dead. So dead they were upside down and sinking to the bottom. Once I notified a worker she could careless about the fish in the tank, I was truly devastated and disgusted. #savethefish

Horrible grooming. Said my Bichon would not allow nail clipping or ear hair removal due to snapping at them. Went to another place, had no problem at all! The worse thing... I was still charged for the nail clipping 3 times even though it wasnt done. I watched the last time I brought her in. I was told they tried to do her nails on and off during the whole time. I never saw it. NO GOOD. NOT HONEST.

We went there for puppy classes. Cody the trainer was awesome. He was great with the dogs, and truly cared for them. The store is always clean and staffed with people willing to help. The vet on site has super nice people as well. All around we will continue to go there and after working with the dog more at home will take another class with Cody.

My cocker spaniel had 9:00am appt. Its now 2:20pm. They said her groomer was a no show. I was told this by the manager. ( I should have been told this morning)They did not call I had to at 1:30. I have been coming to the groomers here for 8 years, manager said I will give you 15% off. I just want to pick up my dog. Will never bring her back here.

WAY TO EXPENSIVE. I went in n bought a small harness n leash for my Chihuahua ad ended up spending $50 freakin dollars. R u seriously kidding me, Walmart has the same brand of dog products that pet smart does and is so much lighter on the pocket. Never ever again will I go back to petsmart for anything I need for my fur babies.

Horrible service. Especially if u get the woman with the redneck glad tattoo on her arm. Shes very rude and when it was my time to leave she didnt say good bye. Have a nice day have a bad day. Nothing she looked at the next person and left me there standing. Not planing on going back. Im glad my dog wasnt there with me.

Was difficult to find reptile food. The only way I knew that they had live meal worms was by finally getting someones attention in the fish department. She told me that they had live meal worms in the refrigerator in the back. There were no signs or any other way of knowing.
