We have been regular shoppers at the Lincoln Park ShopRite and up until today, so has our childrens nanny, Jill. The "customer service" experience she had today is enough to make us go elsewhere with our weekly grocery needs. While shopping with our two small children, ages 1 and 3, Jill indulged a request by our 3 yea-old daughter purchase flowers for me. The store was running a deal where the flowers were supposed to be under a dollar with a qualifying purchase and a ShopRite card. After making Jill stand online to receive the coupon, which she did willingly, the cashier then looked up her discount card in their system and informed Jill that while it was clear that she shopped there every week (for our family), it was also clear that she regularly shopped at the ShopRite in Little Falls (where she actually lives.) Based on this, the cashier very rudely refused to give her the coupon for the flowers. Even more appallingly, when our nanny, who was understandable distressed at this inexplicably harsh treatment, appealed to a manager, the manager backed up the cashier and refused her the coupon as well. As did a second manger, all while our 3 year-old was in tears over not being able to get the flowers. It wasnt the $10 that the flowers would have cost full price, but rather the principle of being treated with such disrespect and pettiness, that upset our nanny (and us). She left without buying any of the groceries she had come to buy that day. We are simply appalled by this treatment of our nanny and friend, who is just the nicest, most caring woman you will ever meet. None of us will be returning to this store.

Of all the local shppping markets this is the best. It is far cheaper than the new Acme in Boonton, and seems like a better overall shopping experience than the ShopRite of parsippany. The prices are good, and while it seems somw of my preferrets items are no longer carries there, it still has a good selection and a good layout. The shop from home is hit or miss, dependant upon the cars ahead of you but also some other factor besides the number of items and the number of freezer items. Sometimes its fast, other times not so much. Overall of all the local choices I go here.

If I could live in a grocery store I would certainly live in Shoprite. The staff is super friendly they always have a positive attitude towards their customers. I sometimes dont want to leave Shoprite because of the positive vibes they give when I first walk through their doors. Every time I go to shoprite its always so organized if their was an option to add more stars I would ten star them because you guys deserve it. Before I end this review their flowers are also beautiful they are really creative on decorating their boutiques and their florist is beautiful.

JENNIFER STOTTARD, the head of Catering at Shop Rite, is truly amazing. I have switched all of my party orders to that store because of the care and quality of their work. The white fish, smoked fish platters are wonderful .For Passover everyone raved about the Ship Rite Brisket, chicken, and Gefilte fish. But, it really is Jen. She recommends and remembers what I need, even if I forget something. The food was delivered hot and on schedule. I used to use fancy caterers, but believe me, I have more compliments than ever with Shop Rite.

Pricing is high compared to the Walmart in Boonton. Dry goods are 20-30% cheaper at Walmart. Produce is sometimes 50% high compared to the Farmers Market on Rt 46. The bakery section has stale rolls all the time. Have to touch test the rolls before buying. The cakes are usually old too. I dont buy any cakes from their bakery anymore. Hamburger meat is brown on the inside half the time, its never 100% that nice, fresh red color. Generally I buy as little as possible from this place nowaday, but its conveniently located.

I love Shop Rite of Lincoln Park! I get all my prescriptions here too. Ive never had a pharmacy where the pharmacists genuinely cared and were this helpful. Whether youre having an insurance issue or the co pay is wrong or your medication wasnt called in, they do their very best to make sure it gets done. I love the staff there. Plus they have everything you need from food to dog toys to flowers ! They are like Wal-Marts cousin! Lol.

Needs an interior update. There arent even lights for the registers to indicate whos open or waiting for assistance. Aisles are cluttered and tight, and cashiers are significantly uninterested in what theyre doing. Sale price items constantly need to be reimbursed by customer service. The catering, though- A++.

its always hard to move around this specific store, no matter if its actually crowded or not. think they need wider aisles. but the employees at very nice and always helpful. I love the section in the middle of the store for decorations of the current holidays coming up.

Best Shoprite Ive ever been to. Great staff (bakery, deli, cashiers, customer service, and managers are all very nice). They occasionally have clearance items up front and sometimes you can find some good deals there. Oh, and they give kids free cookies (shhhhhh...).

Shop Rite of Lincoln Park has grown into a wonderful, community oriented shopping experience over my lifetime of fifty one years. Staff on all levels are friendly and courteous, and it is never difficult to find someone for assistance. (And, no, I dont work there).

Produce prices are scary. 46 market in Wayne is a fraction of the cost for produce. Ethnic foods are also outrageously priced, you can find better quality and cheaper priced at paterson market. 2 star and not one star because of the sales they sometimes have.

Each ShopRite is a bit of a world unto itself. The Lincoln Park ShopRite could use some more variety in its produce section, but offers an unusually impressive cheese and specialty deli counter.

Great location and very cheap. Everyone is pleasant except the workers at the pharmacy. It would not kill you guys to smile or look up. Seriously, its good for you.

This Shop Rite has a really good meat department with a large selection and they turn over product quickly. Although the Shop Rite bakery in Wayne is much better.

Good food and drinks. Usually very crowded (which is a good sign) but hard to find a seat if you want to grab a high table in the bar area.

Always crowded parking lot. Grungy looking strip mall location. But better prices/selection than the local market in my home town

Great prices on everything but produce. Its good in a pinch, but definitely recommend a local farmers market for your produce.

The building design is cozier than most of the other shoprites I have been to.
