Its a Stop & Shop--what else is there to say? They have what youd expect anywhere you go--clean, well-lit. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. If youre into coffee, the in-store Starbucks is a plus. They have 4 self-checkout lanes, usually theyre all open. The prices are only so-so, but thats what to expect with S&S--theyre not the cheapest guys in town, but theyre not the most expensive, either. I go there because theyre the closest. Some items are in odd locations, but you get that anywhere you go. My biggest complaints are: there are never shopping baskets at the doors--I always have to scavenge them from the checkout lanes; and the produce isnt all that great. Even though it looks like a big section, the selection isnt all that great, and I have trouble finding items that are as bruise- & cut- free as I like (although admittedly Im VERY picky with produce). I still shop there, though. Its not a bad store.

I lovvvve going late at night on a Friday when everything is stocked, no crowds, and awesome music is playing. Its the perfect way to end the week and the employees are always super friendly and always smiling ~ It really puts you in a great mood. Thank you so much for that, Paul, Thelma, and the other regular cashier whose name I forgot! Keep up the great work because youre making a bigger difference than you probably realize. They have a great selection of natural foods and non-dairy milks ~ I used to go there to get the unsweetened soDelicious milk but unfortunately they stopped carrying it.

This stop and shop seems to be a testing ground for new tech that the supermarket wants to put in its other stores. I personally loved the u scan guns that you get at the entrance where you scan stuff as you go then just put the gun in the holder at the checkout and pay it makes it quick and easy. The aisles are clean and well stocked the store is clean all and all i love it

The only real problem here is that they dont have enough cashiers opened. I dont feel I need to pay premium price for groceries and have to scan and bag them all myself. That should be a choice. They make it that you have no choice and you have to scan and bag yourself. Doing it yourself also takes a lot longer. And the people behind you are always getting upset.

Its ok, smaller than other grocery stores but it carries Boars Head in the deli and its always fresh. Fruits are much better than other grocery stores in the area. Bakery has beter rolls and bread. One problem is they never have enough registers open. But the people that work the registers ar ed nice and friendly.

Because they remember as a valued customer you need coupons and food that you can really use and or eat. The freebies are great and if you purchase somethin you dont like you can bring it back without a hassle. Why shop some place where the employees dont care because they are unhappy. I love Stop & Shop!

Low Quality food (produce, meat etc...),High Prices. Most of their produce is bruised, marked and going bad. Meat: "pink slime in the beef". (google it) Check expiration dates on any given day there are alot of things on the shelf that are expired. Ill rather go to shoprite better prices and quailty!!!

In the weeks I have been going there it is without a doubt one of the most inefficient and worse run businesses I have ever seen. Take amount of time it will take you to drive to another location will be saved by avoiding their incredibly poop service. The entire management system should be redone.

Tony in the seafood department is terrific, a very nice and knowledgeable guy. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. He selected some beautiful and delicious sockeye salmon and cod for us. He was what made our shopping experience 5 stars.

This is my usual weekly grocery store. It is a typical market, they have some specialty food but not everything. I personally like the scanners you can use, they make self checkout much faster and I can just bag my items as I go.

It really is a nice place to stop and shop. All the sections are well organized. The best part is the shop isnt so crowded so , wont have to wait in the cashier queue for long. Overall a nice place to do GROCERY shopping.

I agree with Luc, the produce selection isnt very good. The prices arent cheap, but they dont give you a lot of reasons to choose them over a cheaper store. Their selection of international food is pretty pathetic too.

This place sucks. I got yogurt from here and realized that it expired over a month ago and they were still sealing it!. They dont check their products. Their produce is rotten and their packaged foods are stale.

The Somerset Stop & Shop is a great supermarket that is well stocked with friendly staff. This supermarket is far from me but i go here when I am down in this area.
