I was pleasantly surprised. Really nice selection of tactical. Even nicer stuff than some of the tactical shops near the big bases, especially their selection of assault packs and day packs. They also have some nice camping equipment. Good spot to outfit yourself for a backpacking trip. They have sleeping mats, hammocks, stoves, fire starters, instant meals, lots of cold weather layers, or knives, etc. The gear was priced affordably. Easily cheaper than AAFES.

Really friendly, helpful staff. Helped me pick the best quality used surplus products. Amazing prices too. Snagged a ECWCS MSS Bivy Sack in M81 Woodland for 50 bucks brand new and a Medium ALICE LC-1 in OD (main pack only) in excellent condition for $25. Its a shame that its located in a low-traffic area and it looks abandoned from the front. I found great quality camping gear for a fraction of the price I would have paid at REI.

This place is amazing!!! The staff is knowledgeable, and will set you up with all your outdoor needs. Not only does this store have new/used military items at a great price but they also have tons of camping and survival gear. I could spend hours in this store and never fully see everything. I think everyone should stop in and find a bargain like I did. Its definitely a hidden gem on the Central Coast!!!

I specifically went to SLO to go to this store because of the reviews its gotten, and I have to say that its all true. The help that I got from the employees was very good and they have a great selection. And to top it of their prices are very reasonable. If there is anything surplus related that you want, they have it. I would highly recommend SLO Camp N Pack to anyone.

This store is amazing. My sister goes to Cal poly and when we visit her I always ask my mom if we can go here because it is such a memorable experience. I have spent about 650 dollars on equipment for paintball and airsoft and every time I go to this store the staff is friendly and always willing to help, the also know their store top to botom.

Awesome surplus store. Great selection of quality knives (Benchmade, Kabar, Ontario, Kershaw, SOG, etc). Newer gear, Molle pouches (new and used), vests, slings, packs, etc. Camping gear for good prices. Fun place to go and kill some time too.

This place is great for picking up surplus items or "survival" gear. Not many places to choose from in the Santa Barbara area so anytime I up here I stop by. Easy access from the freeway so no reason not to check it out when passing by.
