This review is for the trailer sales section. I will start by saying that Im sure buying a new trailer from them is a very different experience, but getting a used trailer was a terrible experience and has left me with several additional expenses to repair things that they promised were repaired. They assured me that the trailer was in fully funcitonal condition. The generator had a tune up and had "Several years of life on it" the trailer was safe and ready to go, according to them. So we did our walk through, caught a few more things for them to repair, and off we went. First, the trailer brakes did not work. This is the first thing that should have been checked, on a 12,000 pound horse trailer. EXTREMELY unsafe. They have not responded to my inquiries on this. -The radio did not work although they "Tested it and it worked" -The generator did not work, once we got it home- despite their two attempts to repair it and replace the carb. - I waited two weeks to pick up the trailer because they were "ordering a microwave from Bison" - appliances are all stainless steel, when i went to pick it up, they informed me that they purchased the microwave from Lowes (it was white and dint match). This took two weeks? I have no idea what the two week wait was for. Just laziness to do any work. The thing, is, that the trailer was on consignment, s the owner had to pay for the repairs, NOT D&D. So this didnt affect them financially, they should have paid the $5 extra bucks at Lowes and at least bought a stainless steel microwave to match the trailer. I have emailed the salesman, Cody, several times with these issues, and no response. I forwarded the email to the sales manager, and no response. I was warned about doing business with them, and I should have heeded that warning. Beware, if you can find a similar trailer from a different sales place, buy it elsewhere. They dont keep any promises and their guarantees mean nothing. The clothing store and tack store is great. It is expensive, but they have nice stuff and a great staff. Perhaps they can teach the trailer sales a thing or two about customer service.

Had a leak in my horse trailer living quarters. Took my trailer in to have the roof resealed. They apparently had a change in service managers...trailer was not on the radar...therefore my trailer sat out in the rain for over 3 months taking on water. Took a few phone calls to get attention to it. TERRIBLE job fixing it. Interior was worse and now had mold. The foot no longer springs back up, we have to physically push it up and lock in place, shoddy job on the installation of new vents in the horse area, and the new floorboards...there is a gap between the wall and the board...I can see the ground outside. The service manager did only charge us for materials because he knew they had screwed up. However the damage is done and my trailer is worse than before repairs. When we went to pick it up, we were so disgusted with what we saw that we just wanted to get our trailer home and away from them. We are stripping and repairing it ourselves. I will NEVER WALK IN THAT STORE OR DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. Every time I hear someone mention D&D, I tell them about our experience. Its been a year and Im still disgusted every time I look at my trailer.

My husband and I bought a gorgeous brand new elite 3 horse with living quarters and traded in our 4 star 2horse bumper pull. We received a good price for our trade in. The price for the elite I thought was a bit high compared to other trailers but you get what you pay for. This trailer is awesome!!! I have people asking where I bought it and when will I be ready to sell it. The experience I had at d&d was wonderful! Ive recommended this place to my fellow competitors in the barrel racing world. They definitely scored my business in the future!

You would think a place thats in business to sell things would actually do just that. I called at 9am sat Feb 13 2016 after applying for credit to buy. BRAND NEW 16 trailer. I called back and asked for sales again. Only to be told they were busy and the salesman(1) would call when he had time. Really?? Who on a Saturday morning only brings in 1 sales person?? Apparently they do. I guess magnum custom trailers will get my next call.maybe they will appreciate my business.

Staff was super unfriendly except for Mandy. She was the only one that greeted us and asked if we found everything ok. The rest of the staff looked me up and down bc of what i was wearing... shorts and a pullover. Just drove in from Chicago. Now i remember why i avoided this place when i lived here and why i will not return. So sad

We are a ranching family and ANYTHING we need for our ranch or our clothing are at D&D. The New Braunfels store is our stop for clothes, hats (they can shape a hat the way you want them to) Boots , gifts....lots of gift choices. Give D&D a try. You wont go anywhere else for your tack and ranch needs.

When Im down that way, I cant pass without stopping by. Ive bought some clothing and tack there and always enjoy browsing their store. Things are a little pricy but they do have a good selection.
