I have to say, I was amazed. Im a new gun owner, and recently purchased my 2nd gun. Ive been to a number of gun stores on the island, all with experiences that left me wanting. Some stores make you feel outright ignorant. And while my knowledge is lacking, I dont need to be treated like a peasant. Some places just cant be bothered. Not so with Campsite! Was welcomed from the moment I arrived. I was helped by a young gentleman named John who I highly recommend. His knowledge was excellent and he was more than helpful. I was definitely up sold but I dont feel bad about it at all. I was steered towards the perfect choice, I just didnt know it when I walked it. After all the negative experiences, it was such a breath of fresh air to find a place I was comfortable in. I will be going back today to purchase more from them. That alone should say it all.

Great staff. Thats what makes the difference anyplace you go. From feeling welcome to getting your problem solved instead of the ole brush--off, the service is excellent. No BS, and although they are in business to make money, the customers needs are addresed before before satisfying the till. If you are a regular customer, chances are you know this. Expect follow up, expect it done right, and expect a good experience. If its not in stock, the phone will ring the second it is. No snobs or high and mighty elitist attitudes. You dont need to kiss any rings, or back up a Brinks truck full of money before you get treated like a valued customer. Prices are good, selection is good, and advice and service is outstanding. How much is your time worth? Its not wasted on a trip to shop at campsite.

What a great shop! Not your typical "if you dont know what you want get out" feel. They have a great selection with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They took the time to answer all of my dumb questions and still gave us a great price! I will only shop here from now on, even if I have to pass a couple other shops on the way! They do get busy and room is limited, so please dont be in a rush.

After shopping around and dealing with unpleasant staff that cannot be bothered with an inexperienced customer, I made it to Campsite. I must say, the staff was both knowledgeable, helpful and patient. They made my experience much more comfortable, were able to answer my questions and were very welcoming. I will definitely buy from them again. Ask for Jason. Great guy. Helped my out alot.

Love the guys in this store. Went there on a whim to buy some ammunition and they were the nicest guys to deal with. Wound-up checking out some rifles and plan to buy my next rifle there. After dealing with a lot of attitude at other gun/hunting stores these guys made me feel welcome. Ill definitely spend my money where the people are cool...campsite gets my vote

I went there to window shop and was impressed by their selection and service. I Ended up buying and AR 15 that day because they were so nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable. The Prices arent bad if you know what you are looking for. I will definitely be purchasing another rifle or shotgun from them soon!

My favorite gun shop, inventory is great and the guys like Sean, Paul, and Doug are the best. The prices arent the cheapest but they know how to treat a customer which is something I appreciate. They have lots of AR15 lowers and parts too so if building is your thing stop by.

The only place on Long Island to get the best selection of fire arms and ammo!!! Very helpful staff. If they dont have it, they try their best to get whatever it is that you need. Never feel rushed with any questions. Very knowledgable.

Brought one rifle from them. Good prices on guns and staff knows there stuff! The shop is a little small but a lot of cool stuff. If you go there on the weekend it will be busy so dont go there if you are in a rush.
