My name is Ruth Mackinson and I live in East Hanover and am a frequest shopper at ShopRite of Parsippany. Your employees have been wonderful to me over the many years I have frequented your store; however, at this time I would like to comment on a man named Lev. Each time I come into your store when he is working he always says hello. When he checks me out at his register, he always asked for my ShopRite card, coupons and if I need help getting my stuff out of the cart. He is most friendly and polite, always having something nice to say. He bags my purchase in smaller bags that are easy to lift. When he is in the isles he has very nicely helped me find stuff I am looking for and with a smile I might add! He certainly is a wonderful asset to your store.

Time and time again I have found rotting produce in the organic produce section and the times I handed it over to someone who works in the produce section Ive gotten scoffed at. In addition to the issue with produce I have on multiple occasions purchased expired organic products - not realizing until I got home and opened the package. I have informed the customer device desk each time I found something expired. I have learned now to check repeatedly but my husband bought an expired product AGAIN! This is simply unacceptable and extremely disrespectfull to customers! I cant believe that the managers have such blatant disregard. How many times does it have to be brought to someones attention before this is corrected? Shameful.

Hours of operation are NEVER updated ANYWHERE! Not online or even on their sales circulars for holiday weekends, such as on and around Thanksgiving. Ridiculous. The website for the Parsippany store just tells you the standard hours with a special note saying hours might be different for Thanksgiving. Thats it! Well it IS Thanksgiving today so maybe you could share the secret now, Shoprite?! No one answers the phone when you call. The automated recording is useless too. Are we all supposed to go to the store and take our chances? Ive done that before only to be frustrated by finding the store closed early because of a holiday. No one at this store can be bothered to provide this information to the public, ever?

This review is for Benny who is the butcher in the Kosher meat department. I called last minute a few years ago asking if he could prepare me chopped meat (a nice blend to make hamburgers) for my 2 summer pool parties. He prepared about 15lbs of delicious hamburger!! I have called him for special events since and he ALWAYS prepares exactly what I need with expertise and is warm and friendly. Thank you for your great service and everyone loved the burgers and I told them exactly who prepared it for me . . . just wish you were not an hour away. Thank you for being my hometown butcher!! I have been a customer since 1992. For the past year items I buy on a weekly basis have disappeared from stock. Sale items are often out of stock on the first day of the sale. Mobile ap used to have its own checkout; now you have to wait for an opening in the self serve. Today I did the mobile app and asked the cashier what do do with a raincheck; she said you have to go to a regular cashier for that. I have $150 of groceries ready to go and you want me to go stand in line for one item? I spend over $7000 a year there but no more.

Shoprite just expanded and has increased their selection of produce and organic foods. I can get almost anything food-related there at a reasonable price, and I can ask for anything that isnt there and there is a good chance theyll start stocking it. In addition, they have a great deli and pizza place in-store so I can eat before I shop when necessary. Most of the cashiers are good, the customer service is great, and the place is clean and well-stocked. I love this store.

This is one of the busiest shoprites in northern New Jersey located in Parsippany New Jersey. Its a huge store and has everything to offer including Kosher foods in the deli. ShopRite in New Jersey is the equivalent to Publix in Florida. ShopRite is considered New Jerseys number one food store. A little tidbit of information Parsippany is where the karate kid was from in that old movie from the eighties The Karate Kid was from before he moved to California with mr. Miyagi

Reliable local grocery store. Well stocked, even sale items. Best prices in the area. Fresh produce and meats. Store brand products are just as good as the name brand, in most cases (pastas, canned goods). Registers can get backed up sometimes, especially on weekends, but store is generally quiet on weekday evenings. Worth the wait in line for the savings. Love the integrated liquor store at this location - saves you a second time standing in line.

Overcrowded, anxiety inducing experience. The employees are in the way as much as other customers. The aisles are too narrow, tried to go down the dairy aisle at the end, looked at the traffic jam of reddened angry faces and almost decided to leave my shopping cart and go to another store. What used to take me a half hour at Pathmark, was an over an hour long ordeal. I cannot recommend enough finding someplace else to shop.

They changed their hours in September. They now close at 11pm. I sent an edit in to change the hours on Google. Very frustrating. The manager said they have updated their site with new hours. I guess they dont realize Google is just as important. Welcome to the modern world shop rite update your stuff as Google is how many people find you. I guess a customer from Canada needs to update your information. Pretty sad...

This store is fantastic. It in addition to all the regular grocery store stuff this shoprite has a on site bakery, Chinese food, coffee shop, pizza, catering, massive liqueur store, on site butcher and fish person. I only wish they had a better produce department. Other than that excellent in every way

This store is very busy, since Pathmark closed, it can be chaotic. Long lines, but the cashiers seem to handle themselves very well under the pressure. The food quality is always good..really the best place to shop for fresh, quality food. You can get almost anything you want or need at this store.

NOT open hours as posted: needed quick late-night grocery stop, but non-blocked doors were locked to enter, person working on other doors said they were closed -- 1/2 hour BEFORE listed closing time -- AND there were still other shoppers in the aisles. Rude & NOT Recomended.

The staff is friendly here. At times it may be difficult to find a staff member when you need help with an aisle location. However when you do ask someone they are very knowledgeable! Everything is always clean and neat. The produce is always fresh and bountiful.
