35+ years of reliably dreadful experiences with area marquee dealerships has made me a qualified & justified cynic. As with politics & lawyering, liars, cheats & swindlers seem drawn to & predominant in retail motor vehicle sales. Not so American Auto. Brian Salisbury runs an honest, plain spoken enterprise. We recently purchased a 2007 Focus from him for one of my daughters. This left us happily impressed by his evenhanded personality & evident character. On the strength of that impression, a few weeks later I bought a 2004 Jeep from Brian. When we have need of vehicles henceforth, our 1st look will be inside the old Storz bottling plant on N. 16th. HHD/Omaha

********WARNING ******* WARNING*****WARNING*****This company is Horrible!! Mark is very RUDE! He sold 4 bad motors to us. He refuses to provide any rembursing for a rental car for every bad rebuilt motor he sold to unique auto. I would think twice before doing business with this company. As seen in other reviews he has sold many bad motors. They make the the other company look bad due to their bad rebuilt motors. I will never do business with this company again.

I am quite pleased with my experience. Jake answered my call quickly politely asked if I could hold, which I did, and he got back to me promptly and apologized for the wait, which he didnt have to. He walked through with me exactly what I was after to ensure I got the right parts at a fair price. I would recommend them first to anybody.

Sold a bad engine to me, suzuki vitara 03, returned it, took almost 6 hours for them to process my refund. Obnoxious guys. Tread carefully with them!!!!!!!!
