Terrible communication skills. The sales person I dealt with did not appear to have an understanding of normal car sales lingo. I was attempting to negotiate a drive-out price; which in every other place Ive purchased a car (and Ive purchased one every year and a half; 5 in the last 4 years), means TT&L along with all fees. In the email exchange I mention how Im an hour away. When we agree on a price and he takes my info for the deposit, I give him my Texas address; says finance will call me shortly. In brief, finance calls and says it will be the price + TT&L. I told him, thats not what we agreed on. He says hell call me back. Sales person calls back and says he cant honor the price because I have to pay the taxes; and that he didnt realize I lived in Texas and would have to pay Texas taxes. Complete waste of my time. I cant think of any dealer where you would agree on a final price and not include taxes before talking to the finance guy. Im very upset about this. When interacting with this dealer, dont assume the deal is done, til you sign on the dotted line.

Id like to start off by saying that this was the first time I have done business with Texas Direct Auto on 249 and it wont be the last! The appraisal of my F150 was spot on and I feel like I walked away with an amazing deal. The offer beat out CarMax and the offer I received from Kelly Blue book. The appraiser, Tim, was very informative and walked me through the process of how he determined my trucks value. Thanks Tim for going the extra mile to help me understand how you put a monetary value on my most prized possession. It took me a couple of days to decide to go ahead with the sale and due to my procrastination I needed to have the deal completed by the time my East Coast lein holder closed for the day. Ashley was great as well! I called ahead to explain that I was in a time crunch and needed to make sure my lein holder was paid before end of day. I was able to get her all the info so when I walked in all I had to do was sign the paperwork. Thanks for the spectacular service!

Not a great experience at all. Took about 90 minutes and the price offered was ridiculous and a full 12k below blue book. I took a very clean 2010 Maserati gran turismo convertible with 40k miles and they offered 37k. KBB on trade in is 49k. Car max offered 44k and than I ended up selling to another dealership for 46k a full 9k more than what these jokers offered. Cant believe how much of a price difference they were from everyone else. I took the car to 5 places and the next lowest was carmax a full 6k more than these guys. Dont waste your time on this place.

So at first I was not fascinated by online dealings (since there are many scams nowadays) but still gave this a try. I was completely right, broken promises, wrong delivery dates, and still been waiting for the truck to arrive. On top of everything, they told me the vehicle didnt pass the CA smog inspection. As any salesman they dont care for the customers, but the money. Unlike any dealership you go to, they just got good at deseption. I would try and get my money back but I already traveled from CA to TX(which cost me $1000 for car rental and hotel)

I have bought from them in the past and it was a great experience. Bought a truck 1st of the week and have been waiting to get a shipping date after being told I would have a date the following day. Communication has been poor to say the least. Still no shipping date as of today. From what I understand texas direct was purchased by vroom and aparently they dont have the same customer service ethics as the former owners.

I am shopping for a van, and of all the dealerships I have dealt with over the years this has been by far the worst. I asked a simple qeastion, what is the length of the van. It is a simple question. I got emails from Lashenna and Derek, both just telling me to call them. This place is a waste of time.

Excellent experience, paid 3000 MORE than what carmax offered for my f150 that was 6 months old with only 3000 miles. I would recommend selling your vehicle to tx direct over carmax because they are not set in stone and did up their offer after a little negotiation.
