I purchase a vehicle for my step son 4/22/2017 from Epic auto sales Terrance Johnson had some credit challenges and originally I was supposed to be a co signer and long story short I ended up having to put the vehicle in my name due to the severity of his credit challenges. Ernesto Silva was the sales person and the floor manager he was the one handling the purchase of the vehicle. This guy was being a typical sales person saying all we wanted to hear in order to get us to purchase the vehicle. The Vehicle in question was a 2013 C250 Mercedes Benz. When we went in to purchase the vehicle they were running a special 500 down (via social media) and the manager asked for an additional 500 down with the down payment being a total of 1000 dollars. The day of they put some numbers together for us that where a little above the budget range we wanted but we took it because we were in desperate need of getting the vehicle done and I being a first time car buyer I pretty much didnt realize all the issues and lies told by Ernesto the sales man. After they solidified the finance company and we provide proof of insurance we were given the car to drive away in all of the additional documents came Fed Ex in about 2 to 3 days. I reluctantly signed the documents and sent them back to the dealership and then a few days later received information from Capital One basically a welcome letter. Four weeks after having the vehicle my step son gets a call from the finance manager from Epic saying the bank had sent a check for the purchase of the vehicle and they needed and additional 1700 dollars for Tax and Title. My Step Son Terrance went up to the dealership to get a little clarity and the finance manager or Ernesto were not there so we attempted to contact Ernesto via his cell and he stated that he was off that day and we asked him to contact us the following day and we still havent heard from the dealership or anyone. We have called on several occasions through out the last week or so and no one has contacted back. Just went on the BBB website and realized that there were several individual who have had the same contract issues. I guess that we have to follow suit to get a resolve by contacting the attorney general or just take this whole matter to court which makes no sense people in business should want to do the right thing. Epic Auto Sales gave me my freedom back! On June 4th in the year of our Lord, I came to Epic Auto to look at their inventory but my destiny for that day had already been written. I got out of my friends car and was greeted by the man that would forever change my life for the better, Jose Parada! I was an eager teenager and made tons of financial mistakes which has made it difficult to advance. It has been difficult to advance. It has been difficult having an amazing job but NOT being able to take a vacation to celebrate the fact or to escape day to day stress, due to lack of transportation, made me realize that I needed a car. After being told "no" from many dealerships for the last year; I finally ended up where I now know God had intended. Jose Parada brought me inside and said that I was going to be leaving with a car today. Of course I have been told this by many salesmen only to have them come back and apologize for NOT being able to help me. However, at EPIC, the unbelievable is possible. Jose and the Epic family worked diligently and extremely hard to get me in a vehicle. The best part of the experience, was the "experience"; everyone was honest with me and kept me informed as the process took place. After years of going from inherited cars that died and from asking for rides from co-workers, friends and family; I finally have a car that is MINE and NO co-signer/buyer was needed. This blessed person, Jose Parada, will NEVER fully grasp how he made an impact on my life and while waiting I got to witness other customers testimonies of thanks and gratitude to Jose and his other co-workers; after seeing all of this, I knew. I am now the blessed, excited, overwhelmed with joy and in disbelief owner of a Blue 2013 Toyota Corolla and I thank God for leading me to Jose and the Epic family. Epic if ever you should have a reluctant customer, PLEASE call me and I will take the time to verify this review and speak of my experience. Forever a customer and friend. Dont waste your time. They will tell you anything to get you in the door. Originally came to get my mother a car told them i only had 500 down i ended up getting approved. I informed them i would not have anymore money but i could file my taxes and make the full down payment they were requesting. When asked when my return was going to come back i told them 2-3 weeks. Ever since then i would get calls as to when the money was coming or what was going on with my taxes which i didnt mind at first. When i received calls or texts I was honest i hadnt received my taxes yet and i checked the IRS website daily as well as my bank account. It had been two weeks and my taxes still said processing. I talk to the manager Damian and let them know my situation and how i felt as though i was being harassed he told me i had until the 19th to bring the money in. Then i get two threatening text messages from Ernesto and Trice the next morning about pressing charges if i dont bring the vehicle back by noon and that i was playing games with a vehicle that was not mine even though i had just had a conversation with the "Manager". I contacted Trice via phone he was rude, and basically called me a liar, and made it a point that i dont understand the car business and all of the threatening things he said were just "business". In an attempt to explain that there was no consistency in the communication i received he just brushed it off and acted like this was my fault. This company needs to work on their communication skills (Improved and Effective Communication) They say one thing one day and one thing the next and that is shady. This is why I dont advise anyone to go to Epic Auto Sales they cant keep their word and their sales staff and management dont communicate effectively enough to let the customer know what is going on. If they cant even be consistent with what they say in a days time then what does that say about the business and the way they run it. Epic Auto Sales is a scam.

This place is greedy. The cars here are questionable. I went in to get the price as advertised online after researching the car myself on my own time. They increased the price to whatever the sticker price was (there was no actual sticker), and after buying the car, the engine light and maintenece warning were already on. I didnt think it was too strange I couldnt start the car myself in their lot, but now I see it was just so they could clear the alert messages and make sure I didnt see that it would need work right away. Could have told me. Also could have handled it yourselves. Also could have just sold it at the advertised price since the difference barely covered the cost of upkeep. Lets not forget they "forgot" to mention some minor things like a broken door handle on the passenger side that I didnt notice til weeks later when I had the pleasure of reassuring my first passenger and friend they didnt break it, and a window button that falls out of place if its used. They had badly glued the rain detector into place and it fell off before the first time it even rained. Again, something they could have mentioned. I took it in for repairs and learned that it has already had some significant work done, and that there is damage from an accident that went unreported. I used trusted online sources to check out the car and they were all clear, but since this place is so far from me I couldnt take it to a shop I trusted to check it out before I bought it. Would have been worth it for sure to do so. Next time Im just going to buy new, from the Mercedes-Benz dealership. This place saved me ZERO money and I feel bad for having supported such dishonest people with my money.
