The staff here is exceptional! Every time I walk into this store I am greeted by a smile and a helpful hand. Its so rare to see a group of people that are actually happy to be working! Their happiness is contagious. In addition to carrying discounted furniture this store is a great place to score some exceptional deals on high-end brands like Le Creuset, Oxo and Calphalon. If you are looking for a steal on a piece of Crate and Barrel furniture you have come to the right place. Mad Bonus Points: You will leave smiling because the staff will wrap it and help you load it into your car! Dont have a car to take it home? They have you covered! Just ask for Foster from Fostogo services.

A very friendly and helpful young woman helped me select 8 pieces of Marimekko fabric yesterday. Every year I make the 1.5-hour trek to the C&B Outlet to buy fabrics for Christmas projects, and I was so sorry to hear that this was my last chance to do so--that Marimekko fabrics are being discontinued at C&B Outlets. Im so glad she told me the news yesterday so at least I had a chance to stock up on the fabric while I could! Over the years, I have really enjoyed buying remnants of the fabric from a barrel for $1 a pound at Outlets in California and Virginia and making fun gifts for next-to-nothing prices, so thank you and a good-bye to those joyful experiences!

Annabel (my pup) and I had a great time shopping today at the store. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. While the store doesnt offer shipping or transportation of items, they were kind enough to connect me with someone. I would suggest arranging transportation in advance for the big stuff. Items seem to be about 30% off, going up in discount the longer theyve been there. Theres a great assortment of kitchen basics - bowls, plates, etc., very well priced - Each plate I bought was only $5!! I cant emphasize how friendly the staff was - they even brought my dog water!

I love this outlet! Unlike most outlets that are outside of town, this one is right in Old Town. Parking can be tight, but they do have their own lot. Its best no to go in looking for something in particular, although sometimes I get lucky. Once I needed some coasters and I got 4 of them for under a dollar. Total! Needless to say, prices are great. Note that the coupons you get in the mail often dont count toward items that are further marked down in the store.

The biggest savings to be had are with the discount furniture, while the home goods seem to be priced at about what you would expect. The furniture are either floor models or damaged goods. Some of the damage is pretty significant and would require repairs. If the furniture does not sell, the price will go down 10% each week. The mover they recommend is dependable but very pricey - you would be better off renting a uhaul an moving it yourself.

This place has been off the beaten path and flying under the radar in Old Town Alexandria for decades. Its always hit or miss in terms of what you may find. That said its worth popping in every once in awhile to see which deals they may have on some older items that used to be at the main stores.

I check back here consistently. They have great deals and its awesome that C&B has this option. Its not much of an outlet, but more of a rejected items selection. With that being said, many of the items are all very functional with most having some minor aesthetic issues.

The candle selection is lovely and the Roxies are right for many glasses and cast iron skillets. I got a medium sized cast iron for around $25. The staff was friendly and told me when they are having their next sales. Good place to shop for your home.
