I just posted this review on the CB2 website about the $25 Smith Bath Towel (SKU: 360613) and my bad customer service experience at this store in Georgetown: "This is my first ever product review but I was so compelled by this bad experience that I had to say something. I bought four of these towels about six or so months ago. They are awful for three reasons: 1. Poor Hygiene: These guys are lint-bombs! Between my partner and I, the bathroom was coated in thick orange lint in just a day or so; even after washing the towels a few times. I also had to wash/dry them by themselves for the first several times because they would coat all the other laundry with lint. Very inconvenient when my building has shared coin laundry in the basement. 2. Poor Quality: After only four months, the seam on one of the towels came apart. Today a second towel had its seam fall apart. Ive owned a lot of towels in my 40 years and have never had one fall apart so quickly. I am following the washing instructions and its not like Im scrubbing sidewalks with them either. 3. Poor Customer Service: When I went to the store a couple weeks ago to exchange it, the sales clerk and manager both essentially said, sorry, youre on your own. So I called the customer service number on this website and they said the same thing. I guess CB2 does not stand behind the quality of their merchandise. Theyve lost a customer for life over a towel. Im perplexed by this. Shame on CB2. These towels are the most expensive towels Ive ever bought and also the worst Ive ever bought. They are lose-lose all around and theyre not even that soft."

An absolutely terrible delivery experience. Aside from my bed frame being on backorder for two weeks, I was scheduled for a delivery for two items on a Saturday, which ended up being wasted on a non-delivery. Customer service provided the warehouse with my work number to contact me and not my cell phone (its a Saturday). After almost two hours on the phone with different representatives, they try to reschedule. (When I came back to work on Monday, I had no missed calls - so whether or not they actually came is under a question). They reschedule the delivery for the following Thursday and I am only to find out today that I have been "unbooked." I never received an email or a phone call about this and was only notified when I contacted customer service myself. They again reschedule me for the week after (the whole time I am still only sleeping on my mattress, having gotten rid of my boxspring and frame in anticipation for the long-awaited CB2 bed frame). So not only I have been through two failed deliveries, but I now have to take off work to wait for a delivery for which I wont hold my breath. Despite the sleek and modern furniture, its really not worth the amount of time and trouble this company put me through over the past few weeks.

The worst furniture experience ever. Absolutely terrible customer service including a lot of attitude from the asst. manager. Couch arrived as expected except no legs. These things happen. I accepted the couch though in hindsight I should have refused it. Delivery was on Thursday but Im told that I cant get the legs until the following Wednesday. Told they would overnight the legs to arrive by Tuesday and that the earliest they could have the legs put on the couch would be Wednesday. Whose definition of "overnight" means 5 days? I wouldnt buy a flyswatter from CB2 after this.

Very nice place if you want modern furniture. I went there because I was looking for a modern lamp for my living room. They have a lot of lamp models so I found the lamp I wanted. Even though the place is not that big, they have a lot of furniture, you should go and see it by yourself.

Best Contemporary, modern furniture you will find ! They validate parking for 1 hour. Considering how hard it is to find parking in DC, thats the best option. Employees greet well and are helpful.

CB2 has nice cool items at relatively cheaper prices when compared with other stores in the area. Store personnel were always friendly and helpful. Great place to buy some needed items.
