I have always had to complain/beg these guys to do their job right. Ive had to go right back again for tires to be re-balanced immediately after leaving, on more than one occasion. They also seem to enjoy breaking/misplacing lug nuts or other parts and then trying to pass the blame on someone else. If they have the part in stock that they broke, then they tell me how wonderful they have been to me by fixing it. If they dont have the part, then "the last shop" did something wrong and youre SOL. -"Try ordering the right lug nut from the dealership" When I know that Discount was the last shop that had the tires off!!! So frustrating having to go back again seemingly every other time Im there because they cant get it done right the first time. These issues dont seem to be isolated problems as they have happened to me multiple times over the years. So much that I felt the need to voice my opinion over the Internet. Im done. Never buying another thing from Discount Tire. Its not worth the hassle of always having to double check their work, and its so often not done right. Wait times are awful. Overall tremendous waste of time and money.

Discount Tire is the BEST. Best customer service---Best Tire Selection--Best Rim/Wheel Selection--etc..etc..I especially enjoyed the Selma Discount Tire Location and the experience I had with Paul one of their associates. Let me give me an example....I had an issue with one of my lug nuts breaking off while I was replacing a flat . I explained to Paul that I had just recently purchase these tires at this location and that this happen and that I would appreciate if he could take care of this issue...if not I would understand..he did not give me the round around or BS me.. he spoke to another associate and then looked me straight in the eye and told me that he would take care of it...no BS just good customer service...My experience with Paul and Discount Tire will keep me as a "COMING BACK SORT OF CUSTOMER" from now on...

My daughter just took her car in with a flat.They told her that it had been fixed with a patch before and they could not repair it because it hadnt been fixed with a patch AND a plug! I was a tire man for yeara,Ive NEVER heard of this.All they have to do is patch over the patch or grind patch off and replace it, Ive done it hundreds of times..Discount has these "policies" that prey on people with the excuse of "its a safety issue".Total bullshit..Just like if you but 2 tires ,and tell them to put them on the front,they wont do it!Again under the excuse of "safety",really its cause they want to sell you 4 tires ,not 2..Ill never do business with discount again,these guys in this particular store were very rude and tried very hard to take advantage of my kid and sell her a tire..Wont be going back..Bunch of yahoos..

I had been a faithful costumer with Discount Tire. Here in my last 5 visits i have had very bad experiences. First with not taking care of these customers n second on finding excuses on how to take care of their obligations on their warranties and 3rd on saying that your rims or wheels as they say that they need to be replaced. I have made a point to generally to other customer while I am waiting in my service work and ask if they have been told by the salesman that there rims are damaged n need to be replaced n 9 of the 10 people I have talk to said yes. I want further n took my truck and my car to verify and check if my rims were band and I was told by the dealer n another tire shop that they were wrong. This is a sales tatic they are using. Very disappointed.

I love discount tire. Tgey do get busy here and have nade a couple of errors in the past ?misding a hub cap and my entire spare!) Supposedly in process to replace spare. You have to be obstinate as lower level managers do their best to defend the store even when they have clearly made errors. I give them 4 stores due to their excellent warranty and good prices. I will state I have had better service at less busy times or less busy stores. Set yourself an appointment and double check you have all of your hubcaps and soare when you leave during busy times. Nobody is perfect and they will attempt to fix problems, just not always quickly or 100%. Will update based on my getting my spare replaces.

My mother in law had some work done at the discount tire in Amarillo before driving her van down here. Long story short they put a tire back on her van that should have been disposed of. She had a blow out on the way here and was lucky enough to have help putting her spare on. We took her van in yesterday and we had no issues at all. They replaced the blown out tire for free and we did have a another replaced that we paid for. They were very busy, but were VERY quick considering. My husband and I will be using them in the future with any of our tire issues. They were friendly, accommodating and as quick as they could be.

I was just there. I was in line to get my air pressure checked with 3 cars in front and no other cars around. After 15 minutes of waiting and letting everyone go, the employee kicked me out of the line and said i was blocking the handicapped lot and i was not in line. There was an suv behind me thay pulled up just 10 minutes after I did and the employee said the suv has been waiting for 20 minutes. I argued I was there before him but he was insistent I cut everyone. He wanted me to get to the very back of the line so I just left. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience.

8/7/2014 Every visit, after receiving e-mail notices its time to rotate tires becomes a BIG encounter to sell you new tires, or claims that tires can not be rotated because an idiotic company safety rule claiming the advantage of having more threads on rear than front tires. No more Discount Tires for me. 8/8/2024, Many Kudos to Mike, todays shift supervisor called to have my Van tires rotated and indicated an error made by previous shift personnel regarding company policy.

What a GREAT SERVICE given to my wife while broken down on I-35.... Right about closing time she showed up with blown tire Randall forney comforted her told her not to worry stayed open after closing time FULLY ACCOMMODATED her put 4 tires and gave her a massive discount and put her bk on the road Service with such integrity and dignity and loyalty to company is just about LOST BREED Some are still around like "RANDALL FORNEY"

Scam artist company, had a flat and was told tire was bad and needed to be replaced along with the rest of my tires even though tread was still ok, came back several days later with same flat and ended up being a cracked rim, lazy employees didnt even check where the leak came from before doing anything, I guess these scam artists figure since I have a company truck they can make my company pay for new tires to make easy money

Didnt even get started. Theres something wrong with the phone; I keep getting an error tone instead of the phone ringing. Is the phone broken, wrong number listed, or are they just in dire need of a hold message? Reviews indicate theyre friendly and fast, but somewhat disorganized. Went to New Braunfels instead. (Im a regular DT customer from a different location, and wanted to continue doing business with this chain.)
