You people amaze me. You give it a bad rating because you could find a shotgun at SURPLUS store, because you couldnt find parking during a street fair, and because they had new uniforms instead of used ones. Anyways on to my review. I have been a repeat customer to this fine establishment for about a year or two and I have to say that their customer service is decent, I mean its not like Gamestop where they follow you around every waking minute you are in the store asking if you need anything, but they are pretty good at answering your questions and finding what you want. The stores organization is beyond what you would expect from a surplus store. The prices are spot on what they should be maybe a little up and down depending on where it came from and how hard it its to get. And another thing is their selection of stuff from gear to camping to clothing its double what I have seen in other surplus stores in the area. I recommend going to this store for what ever you need they are more likely to have it than not.

The store is way over-priced, sometimes as much as 30 percent. Even though I wisely comparison shopped the Campchef "Tahoe" 3-burner outdoor cooking stove online, I needed the product immediately for an event mid-August. It was in stock at the Orange Army Navy store and the temptation and desperation was too great. I bought it! Shame on me, but it was my choice. Nevertheless, as I shopped the store for other major camping equipment, it was evident that the markups were ridiculous and that the same merchandise could be purchased in other stores or online much cheaper.

Nice place. More of an actual store than your typical Army-Navy Surplus, and nowhere near as cheap. I have a rule about Military Surplus: Never buy anything new. New stock is usually not U.S. issued, & not as wear resistant. The uniforms issued to our soldiers are tougher than a junkyard dog. The good stuff is in the back. If its stained, patched, sewn up, sweat-stained, or otherwise looks used: Its good!

Good selection and some great genuine surplus items. But be warned, do NOT buy clothing with the security tags on them. I bought a shirt and the security tag left a hole in it that ruined the shirt after two washings. When I complained that the pin made a hole in the shirt, the guy actually said, "well, thats what pins do." No refund or even any apology.

Gotta love a good Army-Navy store! Their prices for camping gear/clothing are unfortunately quite high, but the real reason to visit is the availability of surplus materials and hard to find camping supplies. Missing a tent peg/pole? Theyve got it! It is also very nice to have a place central to Orange that sells ammo.

I have always been a fan and have shopped there many time but on Friday Sept. 2 2011 I tried to get in to get some clothes for my sons and was told I could not get into the parking lot because of the street fair and then was told the store was closed until Sept. 6, 2011. really is it going to be closed????????????

If youre looking for camping, hunting, workwear, military, disaster preparedness, fishing, fire arms, or any other outdoor gear, you can find it here. This place has been around forever because they have what you need. Not the cheapest in town, but a great selection.

I went here a while ago, Great selection and Prices are 5050 the surplus stuff are mostly dirt cheap except for those combat shirts but the new products are overpriced. molle gear shouldnt cost so much. Great people Fair prices. overall I will come back!

First time ever been at this store we when for my sons shoes for his school only place they had them friendly staff prices a bit higher than what I expected but hey when you have too why not but overall good service highly recommended

Simply put...the most rude employees Ive ever dealt with! We were ignored when we had questions & at check out. When we finally got help the clerk argued and was hostile. Worst army store Ive ever been in...so sad.

Went there not knowing what to expect. Once there I was very happy with there selection and prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful and even took the time to share stories with me.

Its bigger than the surplus store in newport and carrys more items. They have good used packs. And new packs. Parking is a little hard to get sometimes
