Went in on Saturday morning, to a total circus. Seemed that the range was "running the store". The gentleman who was the range master was instructing a person, the line was growing and growing. At one point, another employee came over to offer assistance finally, and didnt even know where the forms were ( already on counter) to assist the clients that were there. Three other employees came along and tried to figure it out.... no one knew what to do. Mass pandemonium. No place to sit and wait for a turn in the range, people standing around everywhere, causing the counter to be lined with patrons who were only there for range time.... great for range ! Bad, for the person whos there to purchase a product. I was there to purchase a firearm, and asked to fire the model before I made a final decision. The sales staff said, sure, try it and see what you think, you will have to shoot a rental model -- cannot shoot a new one. " No problem..... Was handed the rental, a few rounds, and 15 minutes later, was issued a bill for $53.00 to shoot the weapon I inteneded to buy. Now, I understand rental, and I understand business, owning one myself. But, this is not the way to serve a new client, one who was ready to spend $1000.00 that morning. At the front counter, I was addressed with " well, Im sorry you fired the gun and used the lane." Sadly, the rental gun I was given wasnt even the gun I had intended to buy, only after inside the range area, did we know that it was the incorrect model. The staff didnt even know what firearm that we had chosn with the sales member who helped us...Poor communication.... As most of the staff was eating their chick fil A lunch on the counter, one particular man offered me back $8.00 that they charged for my shooting companion to assist me with the new firearm. Then, said, nohting I can do, I dont know whats going on back there", sorry. REALLY ? The sales staff at the Army Navy store are knowledgable about their products and came highly recommended from a friend. Seriously, people, eat lunch in the break area, get someone in charge of your range, get organized, and dont charge someone $53.00 to try what they wanna buy. They could learn alot from the range/ store we bought from in Covington, GA. The policy there, is try before you buy, and no fees are due. The range is spotless, organized, and operates very well with no confusion. I will NEVER recommend this store to anyone EVER. BAD experience.... but if you have $50 or so to toss out in 15 minutes, and to be told, sorry.... even when you have money to spend --- this is your place.

Really love the range. Ive never been in on a day when I had to wait, we usually go in the afternoons on weekends. Staff is always friendly and funny. Im not sure what to think about the review where someone was charged $53 to try out a gun. We brought several of our own, had two adults and one child in my party, stayed on the lane for more than one hour, rented a gun for my son to shoot, got 50 rounds for it, and I dont think we paid $40. I havent really shopped ammo or guns there, so I cant comment much on prices. Its pretty laid back, so you can feel very comfortable in store. I saw guys on the range make some mistakes (not safety issues) and staff was there to help them. Im pretty sure they werent even paying for lessons, just beginners using rented firearms and the staff was happy to help. All the spent rounds were being pushed under the stalls ever couple of minutes by a staff member.

I visited this store just this week. I was very hesitant about going to this store after I read some of the reviews. However, I went to check it out for myself. I spoke to Rust, I was very impressed with his honest, knowledge, and the service I received. He was extremely patient with me and really knew his craft. I was amazed at the excellent customer service I recieved!!!! Please dont believe the negative comments you read on this site because they are not TRUE!! Go and see for yourself. All of the salesmans in this store were very polite to the customers. Thank you Rust, I cant tell you how much I appreciate your help. I would definietly continue to patronize this business.

Matt and Daniel are the absolute best in the archery shop. They give honest opinions, and will go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want and need. I recently bought a new bow from them and I have never been more pleased. I have been in archery for 12+ years and have bought 5-6 new bows and dealt with quite a few bow shops in that time and have never found one to be even close. They do get very busy at times, I wouldnt want to go somewhere that didnt. So make sure you are not in a rush. The bow selection is great and the service (once you get one on one) is the best. I drive over 2 hours to go to this shop and it is well worth it.

Staff was friendly and helpful but the gun prices were way to high and this was before the Obama gun craze. One of the employees said there was room for negotiation and i told him I hope so because this gun is 25% higher than i have seen anywhere else. the gun was on consignment so that may have been the reason but many of the guns there were in poor condition and had a mint condition price hanging on them. Why would you value your used guns at retail prices? Still the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, but I would not recommend shopping for a gun there at all.

This place is awesome!!! I have bought 2 guns from them plus a lot of other stuff and everything is great quality. I know they have a lot of buying power cause their gun prices are at least slightly lower than everywhere else I check! Great range and they have employees that will literally talk to you for hours making sure you make the right purchase when you are buying a gun. The selection is amazing cause they literally have everything!!! Couldnt be happier with my Beretta FS92 and won a shooting competition with it only a few weeks after buying it!!!

Russ and Matt are gun and archery pros. If you need it, theyve got it or will get it. I have found that their advice on guns, archery, hunting gear and "how to" to be spot on. If you need hunting gear / info, these are the "go-to" guys in Henry County (if not, the entire South Metro!). Further, if an individual will stand at a counter for 15 minutes without speaking to an attendant (perhaps they thought you were browsing?), this individual is too stupid to draw breath. Teach your kid something useful...open your mouth and make conversation, introvert!

Bought an FN SCAR 17s from this store approximately a week ago. They were busy yet found the time to help me within a few moments from walking in the door. The owner was very friendly and the price was unbeatable even compared to the online pricing that I had researched previously. I also picked up a hundred rounds of ammo on the way out and came to find out later I cant find it as cheap from any of the large online dealers either. The owner even gave me a free 1hr gun range pass. I will be doing more business at this store for sure.
