Best Resource for Outdoors Gear High Country Outfitters isnt one of the biggest stores in town but what they lack in size they make up for by carrying quality products and having a knowledgeable and dedicated staff. The store carries gear for every season and theyll tell you what youll be comfortable in, what youll need for what youre doing and how to properly use whatever it is youre buying (they taught me some awesome things about gear I was already wearing) . High Country also offers a variety of outdoor trips and also rents rafts and tubes to float down the Chattahoochee with (they also supply you with required life jacket I didnt know you needed until a park ranger stopped my family on our last trip - oops!). Overall I would recommend this store to anyone gearing up for the outdoors!

Definitely one of the best places in ATL to get your outdoor gear. The sales staff are super knowledgeable (each one seems to have their own niche: paddleboards, climbing, backpacking.. etc) and very friendly. They have a dog who wanders about and shes sweet but aloof to people. Shes very chill. Also, today they were celebrating egg-tober (big green egg) and they grilled some chicken wings and Juicy Lucys for the customers to try. After an hour and some change, I could barely drag my fiance out of the store. It was his own personal playground. It was a great store and have a great location right next to the Goodwill. Overall, my new favorite place to get outdoor gear!

I am from out of town and I purchase a Big Green Egg as a housewarming gift for my daughters family. The person on the phone taking my order was very helpful and honored a discount that I had been verbally given by another employee a couple of days earlier. The Big Green Egg was delivered this week and my family was thrilled with the gift but also commented on the delivery person - professional, courteous and helpful. Definitely a good business to support!

John and his staff are wonderful. They are so knowledgeable and can help you find exactly what you need. They have a great selection of women's and men's clothes, I always find what I'm looking for. Not to mention the store dog Marley is absolutely adorable. I love this store.
