Aug 27, 2016 Our 1st time EVER walking through the doors of Norris Jewelers. We were greeted with a HUGE hello and RADIANT smiles from Laura and Kim. Our needs were minimal - My mother was given the most precious gift from my father, an emerald and diamond ring. Emeralds are her favorite stone. My mother is modest, always thinking about others before herself. She insisted that she did NOT need another gift. My father INSISTED - telling her when she got home (they were on a cruise) she would be sorry if she didnt let him buy the ring for her. The ring was the last gift that my father ever gave her - he passed less than 48 hours later. The ring had been kept in her safe for many years because she didnt want others to see her as a flashy, showoff. I convinced her that my dad would want her to wear the ring. Be proud of the ring and NOT to worry about what others think. She put the ring on and let me politely know that it turned on her finger. I knew it bothered her. So I went in search of getting a professional and to find a solution to fix the problem. Laura & Kim consulted with Sam & Ken and decided that they could add gold balls to the inside of the ring to allow the ring to remain still on her finger. We were told that it would be about 7-10 days before the ring would be ready. Fast forward to 8/31/16 - received a call before noon - the ring was ready. Oh how excited I was..... I would be able to get the ring to my mom sooner than expected. She wore the ring proudly all day. But I still noticed she kept looking at it. I asked do you like it? Does it stay in place? "Oh yes", she replies, "and look how much it sparkles". It had been many years since she wore the ring but always in her mind thought about the ring and the special memories it held in her heart. The day went on and I finally said, mom, its still turning on your finger isnt it?" "No, its fine" - I dont want to BOTHER them again." I took the ring back to Norris and immediately, without hesitation, Sam listened to my concern went right back to his work area and added another gold bead to tighten the ring. I brought the ring back to my mom and she has not taken it off since. I catch her just looking at it and remembering the entire day - way back in 1992 - like it was yesterday. They would have celebrated their 47 wedding anniversary on Sept 2. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH about the professionalism, kindness and generosity of the ENTIRE crew at Norris Jewelers. They are a family owned business. A business that in 2016 still cares about their customers - a rarity that I dont see much anymore. Ive never been married, I moved to the east-coast 11 years ago, but when my day does comes the ring that will sit on my finger WILL come from Norris Jewelers in Milford, OH. They have made such an impact on both my mom and I. A TRUE GEM - for anyone that is thinking about making a purchase or has a pieces of jewelry that need repair or just want an appraiser. THANK YOU LAURA, KIM, KEN & STEVE FOR BRINGING SUCH JOY AND HAPPINESS TO MY MOTHER. See you in the near future.......... mam

My wife & I will only buy jewelry from the Norris’s. Let me tell you two stories that I believe demonstrates the kind of people they are and the integrity of their business. Some years ago we purchased a diamond wedding ring for me. It was a very nice ring with three diamonds set diagonally across the width of the band. One day while visiting the store, Mr. Norris asked me to see the ring. I thought he was going to clean it as he often does but to my surprise he handed me a new ring with a thicker band and larger diamonds. When I asked, “what is this” he replied that we were very good customers and he wanted me to have a ring that people would ask about. Sometime after that we again were visiting the store because my wife had purchased a necklace from a catalog. It was the Star of David with the Menorah attached under it and a fish attached to the Menorah. It wasn’t very good quality and Mr. Norris had repaired it a few times. During this visit he offered to make her one out of a heavier weight of gold at a price comparable to the one that needed to be repaired. We accepted his offer and she wears it everyday. It has never broken and she gets asked all the time where she got such an awesome necklace. You don’t find many businesses with this kind of service. Thanks Norris’s for serving Milford!!

As a 24 year old fiance to be I felt totally under water with the entire situation. Finding the perfect ring was my mission, and thanks to the great team at Norris it was accomplished. I took the recommendation to visit Norris and was impressed from the get go. I was taken serious from the moment I walked in the door and treated with an awesome attitude of service. I was lucky enough to deal with Grace, the daughter of Ken Norris. I appreciated the female perspective and dealt with Grace over several visits and she helped me with every aspect of the process of building a perfect engagement ring. When I expressed I just wasnt perfectly happy with the diamond she brought one in. It came with a certificate and made me feel very safe and satisfied. All of this was done for the cost of the trying which after shopping around I know was more than fair. All said and done I couldnt have been happier with my ring, and when it turned out just a little large for my finances finger they sized it and had it back to me after one day. Grace was a blessing for me and my engagement. I will never use a different jeweler.

We have had jewelry repairs done at Norris and they have always done an amazing job. My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary this year, which, of course, means my husband purchased a diamond anniversary band for me. He tried shopping online, which did not end well. We went through 3 rings and 2 online jewelry sites before I finally said, "Can we just go into the jewelry store and actually look at rings in person?" I popped into Norris one afternoon and Tracey helped me right away. I tried on several rings and found a few that I liked. When I returned on the weekend with my husband, she helped us again. She and the Norris family went the extra mile to help us get exactly what we both wanted in my anniversary band. I have had the ring for several months now and I still look at it and smile every day. I would recommend Norris Jewelers to everyone!!

I have lived in Milford for over 30 years and have trusted and made purchases at Norris Jewelers until now. Recently I took a ring to them to have it duplicated and since it not something they do they subcontracted the work. Their estimate was $2,200 just for the gold and labor as I was supplying the stones. I then took the ring to Kirks where they were going to hand craft the ring and they gave me an estimate of $1,200. I finally took the ring to Mt Washington Jewelers where they do superior work and was only charged $1,000 to have the ring made. That cost also includes an apprisal for which Norris charged me $65 the last time they duplicated the ring for me.
