For several years, American Discount Foods has been my go-to for high-quality, affordable food and beauty products. Today, I acquired 15 bottles of Essie nail polish (summer brights, professional neutrals, playful glitters, rubberized base coats, and gel-like top coats) for $1.50 each. By comparison, individual bottles of Essie nail polish have sold for $8.50 at Ulta. In the dry foods department, I stocked up on Health Warrior Chia Bars, for $0.50 each. Individual Health Warrior Chia bars have sold for $1.39 at Whole Foods. On todays visit, I discovered the CalNaturale Svelte Vegan Organic Protein Shake, for $0.99 each. A 4-pack of CalNaturale Svelte Vegan Organic Protein Shake has sold for $9.99 at Walgreens. The exceptional prices on these high-quality products proves the integrity of the stores stated mission: to provide quality products at the best possible prices. Thus, American Discount Foods, humbly led by helpful, respectful, professional employees, serves the community as a mission-driven, customer-focused, refreshing alternative to the traditional (typically profit-driven) grocery store.

We did have an issue with a product bought here and it had bugs in it but honestly believe they were actually from the manufacturer rather than the discount store originally . They were just given an area that they were able to nest in that was warm and humid to where the eggs hatched. They tried to offer us a gift card to a place of our choosing but we denied, really only wanting the bugs we had to be acknowledged, handled and obviously never to happen again. Also me and my fiance dont like the feeling of being bought off or paid to keep something like this quiet. Johnny and Jason personally messaged me via Facebook review and did make sure no other items had this issue. According to them it was just this one item that had infested our pantry with Grain Beetles. I have been contacting corporate of the product to make sure this has been handled there as well. Up to you all to decide what your opinion is on this matter. Just wanted to make sure people see what risk they take by buying products from a " Discount Store".

Always a favorite place of mine. Cheap groceries and foods consistently. Now of course you check dates and things because legally they are allowed to sell expired food because the prices are so discounted, but nonetheless you should always make sure what you are buying looks okay. My favorite section is the dessert freezer where I find Bakery and Restaurant style desserts. I will always get something like a cheesecake or chocolate lava cakes to enjoy. The only downside of this place is the new restaurant. The old restaurant which I believe was called Old Glory Cafe was renovated and they had a professional chef come and cook however I have found that the food is not as good and much more expensive than normal so I had much rather have the Old Glory Cafe back. Other than that, place is awesome!

I go there weekly because their low prices have spoiled me. I am not one of those people who throw things out that are past the expiration dates, so getting a dinged up can of chili for .50 cents is ok by me. They have been selling frozen chicken thighs for around .60 a pound. That makes great bone broth! They dont always have milk in stock but they always have yogurt. If they run out of yogurt, then you know we are all in for some hard times. This is the place to stock your pantry and freezer. Its not like Frys or Sprouts, it is a discount warehouse. Sometimes I can get La Croix sparkling water for 1.99 for a 12 pack. But there might be a crushed can but who cares???

You have to look for the deals and for the dates, a lot of things are months or even a year past the best if used by date. I was surprised but like I said dig through the piled you might luck out and get something closer to todays date or that still has a few months on it. I got 5 red bulls from here only 1 month past the date and kept cold for 3 days i brought one to work today and when i went to open it after it sitting on my desk for 2 hours not carrying around or moving at all it exploded all over my desk -_- such a sticky mess. I sent one with my bf to work and his exploded on him too. I am sure the other 3 at home will have to go in the trash.. :( Bummer.

Awesome store! Great deals. Love the fact that the staff is pleasant. Military members are treated with respect and I believe they also get a 10% discount. They have an amazing American flag painted inside. Very patriotic and a God loving store! They actually play Christian music! This makes shopping here very pleasant as I know my children will not be learning inappropriate songs from the music like so many other stores have done. I recommend this place. You never known what your going to find! Drop in and check it out. They always have an amazing section with yogurts.

I have been shopping here or at least at the store for going on I think 17 years at least, as I shopped at their old location. Their new location though is far better well organized and clean. Great bargains on brand name goods it is a treasure hunt everything go. They have fresh fruits and Veg at very low prices along with their meats in the refridge section IE Asparagus 2 for a $1 and Chicken breast $2.50 a package. If you find a deal though buy it as their stock is always changing but HUGE saving $50 spent here= anywhere from $100 to $150 in savings. GO and see.

My husband and I call this the "magic store" because goodness appears, and you have to grab it before it disappears. The employees are always cheerful and polite - I keep waiting for a grouchy one but havent found one yet. We have saved a great deal on normal consumables (rice, coffee, oats), frozen foods (pre-made egg rolls, sausage, fish), and even organic and gluten-free items (xanthan gum, gluten-free chicken patties). On our monthly shopping trip, we almost always have spent $100 and saved at least that much, if not more.

I love American Discount !!! However watch the expiration dates on cereal. I have bought a box of cereal that was very stale/funky. Also some nuts. But all in all I have had very positive experiences there. The staff is awesome, helpful & friendly! 2 times I have returned items that didnt taste right with no problems! I highly recommend stopping by often as you never know what youll find! Great deals! They have food & non food items. Have fun shopping : )

Hay mucha mercancía barata el producto es bueno solo hay que chequear la caducidad en los productos pero si hay mucha mercancía que no se ve comúnmente en las tiendas y hay medicamento fruta verdura etc.

My wife and I come here every week to stock up on the small bagged snacks and such for our at-work lunches, since its the only place I know of that lets you buy them individually (at 3 or 4 for $1)...and to see what new items theyve gotten in. You never know what youll come across. Have to be diligent sometimes and check those expiration dates; youll come across some items that are a bit too past their prime. This is, however a very rare happening.
