Previously taken all our cars there, not so sure now. Had a tire wear out early on my truck, a Goodyear SR-A. I did not want to replace the tire with the same one that had failed to even reach 20k miles, but they had/have no other compartively priced tires. Of course I had to get 2 of the tires I had no faith in. The other 2 tires had plenty of tread so they stayed. That was on Wednesday. Friday wilst driving up to Park City one of the SR-As blew up on the free way, destroying my wheel bay as well as blowing out the panel around the wheel. Thanks Goodyear. I took it back and asked whether this would be covered by Goodyear warranty? Answer: "no" - have to buy yet another new one of the tires that had failed me twice in 2 days. Got a slight discount, thats it. Hence Im reducing my previous opinion of the place from 5 stars to 2 based on extremely poor tire recommendation. And if you have a truck - avoid the Goodyear SR-A - its a cheap, hopeless and potentially dangerous tire to have on your vehicle in my experience. Next time I will go somewhere else to get a completely new set of something more reliable from a brand that backs their warranty.

Ive been coming to discount tire for years and will continue to do so. They are fair and good people. Couple things though. Prices. You are best served to price check. Check tire rack or any brick and mortar website. Make sure you are getting a fair price, they will match anything you find but oftentimes arent the cheapest around. Next, after a couple visits I have found stubborn grease residue left on my wheels. Takes some scrubbing to get off but annoying nonetheless. Maybe changing work gloves periodically is in order. Finally, TPMS is annoying. What makes the system even more annoying is when the guys cant seem to remember to re learn the sensors to the car. Each time Ive swapped out tires they seem to forget this minor detail. I enjoy the tire store, but dont really want to keep going back for something they should have taken care of the first time.

The latest advertising campaign touting theyre rescuing stranded motorists? Not made up. Two store employees came to my rescue today when I had a flat tire and a van full of little kids (and a dog!) They brought a new mounted tire and one of the stores jacks. When the problem turned out bigger than they could fix, they drove my kids, my dog and me home. This wasnt just customer service. These are good people who are able to help because the company fosters a good environment. This gesture won a customer for life. My thanks a million times over. I wont hesitate to sing your stores praises any chance I get.

I went in for a leaking tire, was told the tire could not be repaired because it was worn out. Strange thing, it passed State Inspection the day before. I was told all my tires were bad and I needed a new set and my alignment was bad. When given a price for tires, they didnt even mention the alignment, so I would have go hit with that charge afterwards, I guess. They are all about selling tires, not providing the service I needed or wanted. Wont be going back again. If they had fixed my tire as I had asked I would have purchased my next set from them, because they are close and their prices were comparable with most.

I will never go any where else for tires! I went in to buy two used tires and after looking at my car they noticed that if they put the two used ones on it would have left me with 3 different sized tires. He came in and talked to me letting me know it was unsafe and asked what my budget was and he was able to get me all for tires for exactly the price I told him even though it wasnt really a big budget number. I left there feeling great knowing there are still great people out there who do care even if they might lose money over it. Thank you so much discount tires!! Dont go anywhere else!!!!!!

I stopped in at noon to have a slow leak repaired. I was told it could be fixed in an hour. I told them I had kids to pick up from school and they said it shouldnt be a problem. I took a seat and waited. A half hour later the car had not been touched. I ask the attendant if it was still going to be done in the time they promised. He said he could not guarantee that. I wish they would have been up front with me instead of placating me. A wasted half an hour! They showed no concern that my needs were not met! Poor vustomer service!

Called the day before asking for a specific tire size. Was told they had it, then I confirmed and asked the size again 215/35zr18. He said yes we have them. So I drove 45 minutes from provo up to their location, waited in line for 15min and then was told then dont have that size and he thought I said 215/45... After I asked him twice on the size! How incompotent do you have to be to get it wrong, twice?!?! Kinda glad these guys are idiots, got better tires for cheaper, somewhere else!

I want to thank Gary at this Discount Tire for his outstanding work and service to me on November 15, 2016. Gary quickly identified a significant tire wear problem that was causing major damage to my new tires. Many other shops had missed this in the prior year. Gary showed me the situation and helped explain me options going forward. I am so thankful to him for identifying this problem and saving me huge problems and $ down the line. I had a TPMS valve replaced by another shop who didnt tell me until after the service was completed that they couldnt turn off the light on my dash. After trying several shops unsuccessfully I tried Discount Tire. They were able to do it! Not only did they complete the task, they were friendly, fast and they did it for cheap even though I had gotten the part somewhere else. I will be doing anything with tires here from now on.

Had tires mounted onto new wheels at this location. Received them back with scratches in the lips and two center caps missing. Representative did not want to take responsibility for the damage nor offered any help in getting the wheels fixed. Definitely not taking any more business here and I used this location all the time for any of my tire needs

Sandy Store was quick good service. All employees were kind. Service was excellent. I bought the tires there last fall because their prices beat Les Schawb. My service need today was a screw in my tire. While repairing my tire, one of the employees checked and fill all my other tires. And checked all lug nuts. Thanks guys. Well done !

Customer Service is tops! I had to get new tires before safety inspection and was really tight on money but still wanted "good looking" tires. The staff set me up!! They were $400 less than the brand I had and still as high quality and looked tough. Thanks Discount Tire, I will definitely patronize them again!!!
