Last week I was desperately searching for an obscure, cap strap buckle for my burton cartel bindings. I called every board shop and big sporting goods retailer I could Google all to no avail. This is not an exaggeration. I needed the part in two days, didnt have time to order from the manufacturer. The day before my trip a friend suggested I give Edgeworks a call because they had heard a great experience from a coworker. Why not. I gave them a call. I spoke with a guy on the phone who seemed to feel empathy for my issue. He checked his inventory, didnt have the buckle I needed and explained that I could still drop by with my board and he may be able to fabricate another piece to work for this trip, understanding no promises anything would work out. I didnt have my board with me, but I still dropped by after work that afternoon. When we arrived I was approached by a woman at the shop, who listened to my story and took a minute to think. She disappeared into the back for a moment, then reappeared with a big box of loose binding parts and accessories. We both hunted and sifted through the parts, picking out buckles and set screws we thought looked close to what I needed. In the end, there were about 4 buckles and screws we identified as potential fits. She happily bagged them up and wished me well. She gave me all the parts free of charged, something I never expected. I got home, expecting to strike out on all fronts, only to realize one of the buckles was the EXACT piece I needed. It fit perfectly, then set directly into place with the screw. The fact that Edgeworks perfectly solved my problem and didnt charge me isnt the point of this long review. The point is, this place offered to help me, in any way they could, when no one else would. They genuinely wanted to be part of a solution for me. When it comes to exceptional customer service, this is something rare. I will never shop at other board shops. Ive found a partner who cares about the help they can offer in any circumstance. Thank you Edgeworks!

Went in today super excited to get a new pair of mountain biking shoes and pedals. I had done some research and was pretty sure of what I wanted and was excited that Evo had both things that I wanted in stock and I would be able to support a local bike shop instead of buying online. The front of their store is pretty nice and everyone was friendly and then you walk back to their tiny bike section. It feels super cramped and it seems like only certain people can work back there. There were several employees up front hanging out and the bike department was swamped and busy. I waited around for about 20 minutes for some one to free up to help me with a shoe size. I asked the sales associate if he had a size 9 in the shoe and if this funny defect on the tongue of the shoes was like that on all of them. He came back and said ya the 9.5 and 10 also had the same thing on the tongue but he didnt bring the size 9 out that i requested even though the display was a 9 so I knew they had it. It would be nice to try on both shoes since shoes come in pairs. After telling me the 9.5 and 10 were the same he spun around and started to help with some bike that was getting tuned. He didnt even bother to ask if I wanted the 9s. He didnt bring up the 9s to try on. So I through the one size 9 display shoe back on the display and walked out of the store. Evo missed out on me getting shoes and pedals and spending over $300 in there store because of poor service. They will also miss out on my future business. My advice, skip this store and go to Wheat Ridge Cycles where the staff is super nice and knowledgable or order your stuff online.

A friend of mine recommended EVO in Denver as I needed to get completely kitted out for the ski season having just moved to Summit County. There is a Christys however right in Dillon so I went there. They were as interested in my business as an Eskimo is in an ice cube. So I took the trek to Denver and it was the best decision in a long time. The service was extraordinary and I choose my words carefully. Cameron took whatever time I needed and was patient in explaining the advances in technology since I last bought, which are huge. I came in thinking I knew what I wanted but after careful explanation I changed half of it and many things that Cameron recommended were on sale or less expensive than what I thought I wanted. The boot fitting was the most detailed I have ever seen and there were many questions about what type of skier I am and want to be and what terrains I will ski etc to make sure I got just the right gear. Frankly I have never seen anything like it, not even in Japan, where I lived and skied in the past. When he took the time to explain the details and importance of the exact fit between the goggles and helmet I knew I would never walk into another ski shop. He is going to hate me for this (and taking nothing away from the other great staff) but be sure to ask for Cameron even if you have to make an appointment, if they do that. You will come away poorer but happier for sure. Lastly a very special mention to Addy who helped my wife with all sorts of other purchases at EVO. She was great. This is my ski shop for life.

Edgeworks (Evo) Staff- Extremely friendly and customer service oriented. These fellas mean business and will do what you need done in order for you to cycle.Knowledge is power and theres plenty of it here. I came in with a fixed-gear rebuild and was helped with no judgement n with full knowledge. Even though this store does rentals, high profile cycling , aggressive mountain bikes, and even good ol cruisers. They really are a great all around shop because I didnt have to go to a low end fixie-store that has to charge me a bunchhh of cash so, they can make money. Its understandable and the arent as snooty-poot like the boys over at Turin.. Therefore Im very appreciative to Nick and the fellas! And will return for any future cycling needs.Hands down Quality customer service from Edgeworks. Please:)Understand, this store has been around along time and these fellas have as well. They know the ins and outs and wont stear you in the wrong direction. Kindness, quality, patience, and respect is what you will get from this establishment. Especially, if you give it in return... Evo is AMAZING! We all know that its really quality over quantity with that brand.Have you even been in this store yet? Again AMAZING! Evo brand is is aces.I dont give five stars usually... Evo/EdgeWorks deserves it through and through. Check em out!

The sales staff and show room truly are top notch. The service department...not so much. I went here because I hear so much about evo through ski vids and stuff. But the service department was dismissive in general. I have been having an issue with my bindings loosening and tried to explain this to them. They dismissed it when I explained it figuring I didnt know what I was talking about. When I went to pick up my skis, I asked if they found a problem, they didnt have any notes about it (so i figure they charged 20 bucks to do nothing). In addition, I called to make sure my skis would be ready and the person just asked if the ticket said they would be done (and if so they would be done by 5). The person seemed annoyed that I would even call. Sure enough I get down there and they still have to wax my skis. Would go back for the store, but I would go anywhere else for service. Honestly lucky I gave 3 stars.
