Great place to /buy/ an electric Bicycle... not so much when you need service. I bought a top of the line model (Felt versa e-10) and it worked awesome for 6 months. Back in May the thumb switch stopped working. According to Ren (and Bosch) the replacement part should have been there in 6-10 days. 50 days later, still no part. The only update I received was because I visited in person and was told the Bosch sales rep had changed jobs, and Bosch had no record of my warranty request. Either Bosch really dropped the ball and should have offered something for not meeting their warranty terms or Small planet is blowing smoke up my ass. In either case, I wont be returning. Ren is a very friendly fellow, the type person I would gladly have a beer with. I just wont be taking my bike there.

This is the e-bike store that you have been looking for! The shop offers an impressive range of products, but it is the service that makes Small Planet such a great place to go. The team, particularly in the shop, is highly competent and very friendly. Once I decided to go car-free, they helped me convert my regular cargo bike to an e-bike, a process that was too daunting for me to do alone. Zach advised me on what motor to get and then made sure that everything went smoothly. It was an enjoyable process and I love my “new” bike! I highly recommend them.

Zac was AMAZING! My daughter and I fought forever to try and change the back tire on her bike, we needed rideable and safe by end of day.. When I called, Zac said to bring it right in, no wait :-) It turned out to be more than we all thought.. The valve was busted . The front brakes were bad... All that was fixed in just a few minutes. Then to top the service off, he took the bolt cutters to the combination lock as no one could remember the combination... Busted his glasses and cut his eye in the process:( I will recommend these guys to everyone

This shop carries all of the top ebike brands including Pedego, iZip, Hebb and Stromer and has been in Longmont since 2009. The location is very convenient, right at 724 on Main Street, and there are several places to get food nearby if youre dropping your bike off for repairs. They are open 7 days a week from 10am to 5:30pm on Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 5pm Sundays. Note that they used to also have a shop in Fort Collins which closed, Ive been told they are planning to open another shop in Denver soon.

May 2012 Bought my 2nd Pedego from Tom, and picked it up in Calif. Tom had arranged everything for me as I was going to be in Calif. anyway and this way I could meet the owners of Pedego.The people at Pedego are the best, delivery of the bike went without a hitch and I got to spend 2weeks riding along the southern Cal coast.The bike has been flawless,the service even better, the smiles huge. Anyone wanting an electric bike needs to check out Small Planet e vehicles and Pedego.You cant do better.

Wonderful service! I purchased my ‘EZ Pedaler 350’ about a week ago, and am very pleased with both my purchase and how helpful the salesperson (Tom) was. Over the course of several visits, he was very helpful and patient while I tried out a number of different models to see which one would be the best overall fit. I’m looking forward to doing more business with Small Planet EV, and providing a road test review of the bicycle in a few weeks.

I assembled a Prodeco Tech Phantom X3 last spring and took it in for service prior to this season. They did a great job with cleaning the chain, adjusting the brakes, and (my favorite) getting the gears in top-notch shape (I wasnt very skilled in the art when I originally assembled the bike). They also cleaned last seasons mud off and the charge for the seasonal tune-up was much lower than expected. Highly recommended.

They were great! I just went in for new tubes and they let me have full access to their tools and bike stand. I was given a new screw that i was missing and also a water bottle for my empty holder. The experience I had there means I will be sure to go there every time I have any questions and also for any new parts or even a much better bike. I would say 10 out of 10!

When that bike was stolen outside the senior center no, I immediately bought a replacement from them. The few problems Ive had were addressed quickly and efficiently. Went in to have repair help on a bike I had not purchased there. I was pleasantly surprised by their willingness to help and the skills they brought to bear in resolving my bicycle issue. Ren and the whole team at Small Planet E Bikes are great. I used to like my commute; now I love it! They set me up with a mid-drive motor on my regular commuter bike. Everyone was friendly and they care about customer service. I highly recommend them!

I bought a scooter from these guys a few years back. I recently got a flat tire and I have no way to bring the scooter to them for repair. This morning Chuck drove all the way up to Fort Collins from Longmont to fix my flat tire.
