Turin does a lot for the cycling community and is a very good local bike shop but I agree with some of the other reviews. They can be a little rude. My wife bought her bike there and the deal we got was good and the sales staff was very helpful during the buying process. The service team however, could be a little more friendly. I get they are busy but when you are a local bike shop located feet from a huge multi-use trail in a major city, people are going to wander in with questions and quick fix requests. I trusted them with my bike for a major repair and it was done well but dont you dare think you can walk in to drop your bike off without making an appointment. I have actually been greeted by were very busy upon walking in to the store (I came in to use the air pump). Literally that was first thing they said when I wandered in with the bike in my lycra. The work they do is very good and on par price-wise with other bike shops. If you are looking to buy a bike and know exactly when it will need service and call ahead, a good place but they are getting a reputation for being a little grumpy. I also dont think the mountain bike reviews are warranted. Not sure if they sell any but I saw a friendly transaction between a mountain biker who got his hydraulic fluid replaced. Very well layed out and they dont pressure you to buy things but dont go when its busy.

This is my friendly, neighborhood bike shop. From simple tweaks and repairs to emergency fixes this shop has been 200% reliable every day of the week. Ive walked in with flats, busted chains, simple tweaks and these guys jumped right on it, assessed the fix and quoted me an affordable price. I bought my Trek Hybrid from them 1.5 years ago as a Xmas present and these guys have never hesitated to help me or assess the condition of the bike. These guys are battle hardened road warriors who earned their scars, scrapes and bruises and have empathized with every misfortune (diggers/clotheslines by car doors) flat or folly Ive experienced since taking ownership of my bike two christmases past. These very same fellas recommended I check out BikeDepot for parts I couldnt find there. You will not find more transparency in business than recommending a non-profit competitor. I would buy my next bike from Turin tomorrow. Regardless of age, every novice should buy their bike from Turin. These guys offered me a crash course in biking by simply trusting their knowledge to season me into a safe, educated, street savvy cyclist. Personally, I thank these guys for giving me a newfound life road cycling.

Heard mixed things about Turin but decided to check them out for myself while shopping for a road bike. The first day I went in, the person I worked with was cool so I felt ok about them. He did only put me on three bikes, and two were just the Mens vs Womens version of the same model. I came back the next day to work with the person in charge of fitting people for bicycles. What an apathetic jerk. He seemed so annoyed to have to help his coworker and even more so to have to assist me. He recommended the womens specific model for me, which unfortunately was far from what I was looking for aesthetically (all white with bubblegum pink accents and flowers, I mean seriously). When I said this, they both kind of shrugged and said that was all they had in my price point - which went up $500 from the cost of that particular bike. I cant believe they didnt try to show me anything else and the attitude I got from the bike fitter the whole time has left me with a pretty bad impression of this shop. Ill be looking elsewhere even if it means driving a little further for better service.

In March of 2016, it was time to realize my 25 year dream, and see if a Bianchi was right for me. When I Googled, Turin was one of the three shops in the (30 mile radius) area, and the only one that was open at the time I Googled and called. I went in shortly after that, and was immediately impressed by the selection of bikes in the store (including Bianchi!), the shop area, the accessories, and the staff. Turin has it all. Right after I bought the bike, and without even putting any miles on it (long story) I thought I had done something pretty bad to it. I brought it in, and it wasnt what I thought - it was something really simple - but never did I feel like they thought I was an idiot (if they did, they hid it well). *I* felt like an idiot, even for a self-admitted hack, but they were nonetheless very professional, friendly, and most of all, encouraging. You really cant beat Turin. They have a great selection, theyre extremely knowledgeable, and dont let the knowledge and professionalism fool you if youre a comfortable hack like me - they welcome every ability.

I broke a spoke in Frutia and had a local shop put in a new one. I have carbon MTB wheels and unfortunately, it doesnt appear the shop in Frutia installed the spoke with the correct procedure (de-tension all the spokes, install the new one and re-tension all the spokes evenly). This eventually led to two spokes breaking and many spokes becoming dangerously loose. After breaking two spokes on back to back rides I brought my bike in to Turin for another spoke repair and they took care of me in a couple of days (out side of their normal booked schedule) so I wouldnt miss an annual trip with buddies from all over the US. Steve D (one of their most experience mechanics) stayed late in order to fully rebuild my wheel (new nipples and spokes) allowing me to make the trip. Steve did an excellent job, the wheel is now set up with stronger spokes than OE and sounds just like brand new (high tension spokes have a certain sound to them when their new). I cant thank them enough for the excellent care I receive every time I go in the shop!

I just bought my first new road bike from Turin (Specialized Roubaix) and could not have been happier with the service that I received. I visited most of the bike shops in the Denver area, read their reviews online, spoke to their staff , and tested many road bikes. Overall I felt that the staff at Turin was excellent. I read a few negative reviews but my experience was very positive. They knew the difference between road bike models (Specialized and many others) and could point out both the advantages and disadvantages of each model. I worked with Alex and felt this knowledge and advice were excellent. There was a genuine desire to get me a bike that I felt comfortable with. And the best part - Turin was selling the bike at $150 below MSRP - the best price in town. I would recommend Turing if you are a serious rider or just in the market give Turin a try.

This place is for road bikes only. They dont care about mountain bikea, know very little about mountain bike and I get the feeling they dont like mountain bikers. I went in to get parts, grabbed what I needed. Then so-called expert then told me I didnt need half of what I had grabbed. Well after I got home I did need those parts, and that meant I couldnt ride on my day off. I went in the next day to complain and set this right and again was treated like an idiot. This was a bike shop that through stupidity prevented me from riding my bike. I emailed the shop about this, with no response, so Im writing this. I ride every day of the week, on various different bikes and to be treated like an idiot, given bad service and not responded to, is not the service I want from a bike shop. Edgeworx and Campus Cycles are much better options.
