My husband and I today drove from Macon, GA to the McDonough store and we were going to purchase lots of tile for our home remodeling, but were unable to receive any customer service help at all!!! I am so disappointed in the fact that after being there for over 45 minutes, we were unable to get anyone to help us. I even walked up to the employee who was suppose to be on their information desk and told her we needed help, (she was following a couple that was constantly arguing about what to purchase) she did not even acknowledge me with a reply, nor did she get anyone else via her handset to help us. There were several employees all standing up around the cash registers obviously sharing I am not busy talk with each other, with none of them offering to help us with anything and they all saw us standing there at the desk for at least 30 minutes. My husband is a physician and his time is very valuable and this was a horrible experience there and I can tell you from being a former Customer Service Manager for years for a large corporation, that this store chain will not last if the customer service is a horrible experience for other customers as it was for us today. Love this store! They have a large selection and they even have examples of their tile used on sample bathrooms, etc. it really helps you to visualize how the tile/wood will look when its in place. Also the staff are so friendly! They are willing to help you, even give suggestions! They are so knowledgeable and are willing to help. Thats why I drive out of my way to go to this store. There is a store in Morrow that is closer for me but their customer service is poor. I really hate going there. You feel like youre bothering the staff and its an uncomfortable feeling. But not at the store in McDonough! We actually met a retiree who works there part-time who used to build houses and she gave us some tips on finding ways to save!!

I was so amazed with the prices at Floor Decor. Im on my way back to the store in McDonough, Ga. The customer service was awesome with my selection of laminate flooring. When driving to the pick up area it really needs so much improvement. Customers were waiting for over an hour to pick up their flooring. However, I think they need more employees to run the area where customers pick up merchandise.
