HORRIBLE! This is the 2nd time I have purchased from them at different stores. First store I purchased living room set from was in Palmdale, my delivery was all screwed up and didnt receive all of my order. I called several times and they kept delaying delivery and telling me things were on back order. Was supposed to get my furniture in May didnt get it until July, excluding the accessories and dinnerware. So they refunded delivery and told me the other stuff was back ordered and wont be available til end of July. End of July still nothing called back and was told the same thing, so they told me to come back in and pick something from the store which I did. Fast forward 4 years later decided to purchase again from them, assuming the same thing couldnt possibly happen at a different location. WRONG! Delivery was scheduled for May 8th I stayed home from work and all, received several text messages confirming delivery and everything only to be called the same day by someone saying they do not have a delivery set up for me and was calling to set it up. I was livid! I wasted a days work waiting on them! Upon further speaking with her she tells me she only sees a 5 pc set scheduled for delivery that day but nothing else which made me even more upset because she just said she didnt have a delivery. Once again they refunded my delivery. Finally got the rest of the furniture a few days later excluding, accessories. Was told they would come in June. End of May I went into the store to get a delivery date for the remaining and was told June 8th. Today is June 13th and I called to get a tracking number only to be told that it will be delivered on June 22nd and I asked what she has as being delivered she tells me and of course an item is missing. Stated she doesnt see it and will have to verify I purchased it and add it to delivery. I told her how I felt and how I will never shop there ever again, she then says well you can come in and we will give you $100 gift card and you can pick anything in the store. REALLY!? How about NO! I purchased what I wanted and should have it. So based on both these experiences, in 2 places hours apart, I will not return to any ASHLEYS EVER!

Ordered a sofa set and rug in March and received our sofas at the end of April. Upon delivery found a small hole in the sofas. Showed the delivery guy and he took pictures, said that he would notify the store and someone would contact me to repair. I had to follow-up a week later with the store. The customer rep indicated I should have not accepted the sofas and he could not do anything about it. I asked him to provide me the number to Customer Care. Customer Care said that they would send me the material and when I received from UPS to call back and schedule a tech to come out and repair. I finally received the material and scheduled a tech to come out (this was another nightmare!)...however, the tech came out and the wrong piece was sent to us so he couldnt repair and that he would request the correct piece and AGAIN, call when Ive received to schedule a tech to come out to repair. As were going through all this Im still waiting for the rug we ordered with the Sofas (following up on rug and receive ANOTHER deliver date of 06/01/15). Called 3X to follow-up on the 06/01/15 deliver date of our rug and all I get is let us look into it and well give you a call back. FINALLY today, I call to follow-up on the 06/01/15 deliver date and I received an answer that the UPS shows I received the rug and Im claiming that Ive never received it so NOW the rug is on BACK ORDER AGAIN and it looks like Ill receive in September. WOW!!!! How can I recommend Ashley Furniture?? They have decent furniture and its saddens me that a customer should have to wait 6 months for 3 pieces to be complete. **CUSTOMER SERVICE is inexperienced and will not follow through with your inquiry**

Ashley Furniture ruined my Christmas dinner!!!! Sales person was really nice, gave us the space to find what we were looking for. When furniture arrived at the house, the chairs were very dusty. The delivery guys placed the table in the middle of the room, and the server in the corner. When I ask to have them placed where I want them, one of the guys wasn’t very friendly and helpful. I was to check the furniture that there were no scratches on before had to sign the delivery papers. The guy rushed me and said, sign here we have to go you have 48 hours to report if something is broken or scratched. We purchased a dining table with 6 chairs, a rug, 8 place settings, and the matching server. In order to have the table settings delivered at the same day we even changed the color of the dishes to one they had in stock. The table settings were never delivered. When I called no one felt responsible. When I spoke with the sales person she said she will call the warehouse and have the dishes mailed to the house ASAP. Nothing came… When I called their customer service the day before Christmas she said she will investigate and promised to call me back …. She never did. If it wouldn’t be so much hassle, I would give the furniture back and buy them elsewhere. This was the first and the last time I sat foot in their store. Because of the missing table settings, I had to go and buy other dishes… So yes, Ashley’s Furniture and their incompetent warehouse staff ruined my Christmas Dinner. It said in the contract which we signed that the dishes would be delivered with the furniture, and the place-mats would come in January. Total frustration and disappointment!

Terrible experience. I paid taxes on my purchase in cash and placed the purchase cost on my Ashley card to take advantage of the 18-month tax free promotion. After everything was signed and I walked out the store with the receipt, etc. Got a call from the sales representative hours later telling me that I did not pay the taxes and to come back to the store to pay them. I was shocked! I counted the money in the wallet and it looked $55 less than it was earlier in the day. He kept insisting that the front payment desk did not take my money. It was just a ridiculous conversation and I told him I will do no such thing because of some screw up on their end. To add to that experience, it has been over a month and I am still waiting for a painting to be delivered. Thank goodness I had bought some of their manager special items, which I hauled away myself. The only thing that required delivery was one painting. Main customer service referred to the Ashley store and the Ashley store (West Covina) keeps referring me back to Ashley main office. This is the last time I will buy anything from Ashley Furniture.

Do not never order here, I purchased two weeks out was told all the bedroom sets would arrive on the 12th, they show up missing the beds and a bunch of other items, my kids slept on the couch as that was our move in date and I sold their furniture that morning. I called furious theybsaod it would all be here on the 16th, then today the 16th comes and only one bed is here. Now they say the other bed will be here the 26th?? Also supposed to come with comforters those arent showing up till then either. They should tell you same day orbwothin 24 hours if they cant deliver everything as promised. They completely misrepresent that u will have your furniture on a specific date when you will not. Update 6/24, I called to make sure the 26th was on track for my sons bed and now Im told the 29th. Its seriously a joke. Ive purchased from Mathis brothers and living spaces, they both deliver on schedule as promised on all the orders Ive had in the past. This is a nightmare dealing with Ashley furniture
