On an impulse my husband and I stopped into your Fountain Valley store where we were greeted by Guy, a new salesman there. He is awesome!! We had visited another location just yesterday, and to be honest, we werent impressed. The salespeople were too pushy, hovering, and although casually dressed, we were looking to buy. Guy asked us if we were familiar with how the store was merchandised, and although not super familiar, we said yes, because we really just wanted to look around. We are the kind of people that like to look, imagine, and try out furniture before we start asking questions. Guy gave us room to breathe, look as much as we wanted and NEVER once did we feel pressure. I am quite aware of customer service as I worked at Nordstroms for over 15 years, and I feel Guy exemplified great customer service. After we found a living room set that we were interested in, Guy came by ready to answer all our questions, explained how the sale worked, the delivery options and dates, all which helped us make a great decision. As we were thinking about leaving, we noticed your 14 piece set sale, which Guy explained to us how it worked. We were super excited and decided to take even more time to look and decide. We changed our furniture set for a new look, plus we ordered new end tables and accessories! Guy took his time, even was able to help others, and when we finally decided on all the pieces we wanted, he expertly took care of everything! Overall, one of the nicest, and best experiences we have ever had! Thank you Guy!!!

I had gone though with worst time of my life in this store, I worked with sales associate and plan to purchase living room furniture, so I went to with my wife and kids, when we enter inside, a man saw us and walked towards us and then changed his mind to around , anyway we went straight to to furniture to make final changes we had in mind, then the same man came to us with his hands in his pocket and said " How we doing; I said i am here to purchase this set and i already spoke to the sales associate, make long story short, he rudely told me to go and apply for credit because is already 8:30pm, after that he took me to the computer and showed me the sale, and told him there is some discrepancy in the price, soon he heard that he said " Dont ply games with me" , and if you want i will cancel the transaction, i said go ahead, he then ripped off my forms and toss it in trash, a asked him to give my information back , he said are you talking to me;" said yes i need my paper back, he then said dont worry i don;t have to show you any thing but i am the Manager of the store, ( Garland Church), to me he was pathetic,inconsiderate, very rude, nonprofessional, shouldnt be so called Manager, he insulted me in front of the whole family, his tone was so harsh and loud,he kept on telling me "HOLD ON , HOLD ON LISTEN TO ME. Ashley is a big name they should have had big people not like stupid Garland, has no train of proper customer service, and he is a manager LO.L. I will never shop there again,

STAY AWAY!!!!! DON"T SHOP AT ASHLEY!!!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We purchased a 14 piece bedroom set from them over a month ago and they have been to my place 4 times now and my problems are still not fixed. The Corporate company has no clue as to what is going on and the local store manager is a prick that cant solve any problems or do anything. All the Manager can do is say he sent an email to corporate. WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY BAD BUSINESS. I should have known I was making a bad decision purchasing from Ashley when the sales person was telling me not to accept anything that might damaged or else you will have real problems. Thats from the Sale guy trying to make a sale. If you look close at their furniture it looks like middle schoolers put it together. Every piece that we bought had to get exchanged and they do it with multiple deliverys that you have to be home for a 4 hour window. I lost 3 vacation days now waiting for Ashely Furniture to fix my furniture order and the last time they CANCELLED on my an HOUR before they were supposed to show up. WASTED A VACATION DAY and they didnt even show up. BAD BAD COMPANY!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!!!NOT WORTH IT!!

Never go to this store they are a joke. wish i looked at there horrible reviews before i bought something there and suffered the same experience.We ordered furniture a month before we where moving. We specifically got a sectional the sales women said would be available in time. They called twice to verify delivery. Then the day before delivery they call to say only half the sectional will be delivered. When i called the store and the verification number the staff was rude and let me know my options where to wait, when i asked for a manager they let me know noone was available for me to talk to!?!?! Called corporate went through crap all day with nothing happening they offered me 150 dollars of store credit after they let me know they couldnt even give an estimated time it would come in. When i cancelled the order they charged me a fee even though i had nothing delivered and told me i have to wait 14 days for the refund, after giving me less than 24 hour notice they only had half of our sofa. Long story short never go there absolute worst experience ever from anywhere. i would have gave them negetive stars if it was an option. Save your self a headache and go anywhere else.

Horrible customer service!! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! I had been a loyal customer until this recent bad experience with delivery on one piece of furniture. Finally I decided to drive to the wear house a 50min drive just to make it easier on me after having to reschedule over and over since I had paid for delivery and never got anything after 3 weeks and when calling the store they had me going in circles unable to get clear answers oh and the sales person was no longer working there. I arrived to the wear house to learn that the piece I had purchased was not in Stock and thats were I was more concerned on how they lie to customers they sale an item that its not even in stock what a joke I have never heard of anything like that before. On my way out the security asked if I had fixed my issue after I shared my experience he was the one that apologized for all the inconveniences this company had put me through and shared that there are a lot of complaints from many customers about Ashleys bad service. I would never purchased from Ashley Furniture not that it concerns them in anyway.

I bought a King size bedroom set with dresser, chest, 2 side tables. Within 4 months the handles started to break off. I called and they sent me 4 new ones. At 8 months later, half of the handles were broke off again I called and they told me that since it was a year old they will not send me anymore handles. I even asked to have the manager call me and he never did. They are odd type handles and cant find any that match. I called the store and they told me I had to pay $8.00 per handle. Are you kidding??? at over 16 handles I decided to forget it and just not buy anything at the store again. Now I have a bedroom set where I have handles gone on most of the chests drawers and dresser drawers and side table. It really angers me. Cheaply made furniture. Do yourself a favor, pay a little more and get better furniture with a better guarantee behind it. I am looking for furniture that looks good with my head and foot board to get rid of the junk I bought. I wont buy at Ashleys again.
