I have officially sworn off going to this store. They often do not have items in stock (yes, I know I can get a rain check but that is not the point). This past Saturday, they had NO head lettuce at all and NO tomatoes. I thought I was losing it and when I asked the boy that works there where the tomatoes were, he pointed to the empty bin and told me I could come back after noon. Yeah, right! And, the service at the deli counter is the WORST you will ever encounter! Most of them dont care and seem to hate their job. They will have four people working in the back and one person working the counter. 9 times out of 10 they have to "go in the bacK to get what you are ordering. They talk and laugh amongst themselves and ignore the customers piling up at the counter. I have no reason to go to store any longer. I have Fox Lake and Spring Grove for the one item that I cannot get anywhere else.

The Customer Service is the reason I shop there. Their prices were a bit higher than the local Wal-Mart but that place is like a warehouse, good luck finding someone to help you. Ever since the economy went bad they came out with an advertised price cut and I cant believe some of the deals they have. Havent been to the Wal-Mart in a long time but Im sure theyre competitive with their prices. Great Deli and Produce sections as well.

Called on Monday to order a ham for Mothers Day. They said it would be in Wednesday and they would call me. No one did. Called them Thursday morning. Told me they would check and call me back in a couple hours. Never did. Called back again and they told me they didnt have anything for me and never ordered it. Now Im scrambling for a Mothers Day ham. Lousy service. Go elsewhere!

Went to your store to get the buy one get 2 free babyback ribs , WHAT A JOKE !!! As you probably know babyback ribs usually sell for 2.99 - 3.99 a pound . Your store marked them up to 8.99 a pound to justify getting 2 for free , really ? Well I wont be back , total false advertising!!!!!!!!

Clearance prices are great. Sometimes they have really good sale prices. Their normal prices are a little high. But they have a good selection of food. The employees are helpful. The only other problem is actually getting in and out from the street. But that is out of their control.

Some people think Jewels prices are too high....and they can be. But when certain items are on sale, they can be the best sale by far! PArticularly meat sales.....theyll have some great meat sales!
