So I hate giving bad reviews ever, but I have been going to this Jewel regularly since they opened it 10-15 years ago. Its close to my house and convenient, which is why I endure the high prices (I could go to Walmart and buy the same exact products and brands and save a ton of money). Recently, my fiance and I have run into the rudest employees, one in the front end area and one in the deli, both of which are off-putting, rude, and dont understand what customer service is. Im in the service industry, and I would never treat my rudest clients with the least bit of disrespect. Ive had issues with the same employee a few times and complained but I dealt with it for the convenience, but when someone starts being rude to my family, I dont tolerate that. We wont be going back here due to the high prices and the fact that a few of the employees dont know how to deliver even barely adequate customer service.

Recently we did a visit to Jewel to buy some grilled chicken unfortunately the lady named Maria was too busy doing other things and we waited there for five minutes, once she was done giving us the order she literally threw the bucket of chicken at us and then the chicken spilled all over the floor.she stopped and looked at us like she did not know what to do and she gave us very bad attitude. She rolled her eyes and expected us to pick it up however we did not. As a customer I always like Jewel because of their service unfortunately today has changed my mind set on the employees. Especially Maria. Good thing a new Walmart is opening up

I went to Jewel today on 8-1-15 around noon to buy some of there Beef roasts and Steaks that were on sale and I could not believe that their meat counter was almost completely empty of any beef products. Went to the Butcher station behind the glass and they had limited supply there also. We left there without any beef products. every since Jewel sold out to an investment group in 2013 it has declined ever since then. Soon theyll lose my business all together if they keep declining.

Always fresh :) Ive gone to the Butera across the street, but it has declined in quality a lot in the past few years or so. Ive had issues with buying candy that was 6 months expired, at Butera. Something you would NEVER see at Jewel. They have a great selection of fresh fruit and veggies, and I think its very well priced for the selection and quality they offer :)

Jewel is good for everyday stuff, they definitely revamped which makes me happy. Still missing that touch to produce that a higher end store would have. If they had that I would 5/5.Find myself here once a week and organic the other time a week for home cooking.

Yes its a grocery store, however the people who work here, ARE by and large decent, only saw ONE woman who was "difficult", and she was only that way because I think shes worked to many hours at the front desk.

The staff might need some training on how to treat customers. Perhaps a reminder that customers contribute to their salary. Besides that, products are great, you can find more organic options every day

The cashiers are occasionally good about making you feel welcome but dont expect the baggers to do what you ask when you specifically ask them to bag your gentle items separately.
