I think Im done shopping at Festival. I went there tonight at around 1:00 AM to do my shopping for the week. One of the things on my list was fresh strawberries. At this time of year I dont expect to get real good strawberries, but I certainly dont expect to see a section with boxes full of strawberries that are rotting and moldy. When I bought this to the attention of an employee, they informed me that they have been having issues with their supplier for over a year. Thats all well and good, but I dont really care about your supplier issues. Dont put moldy food out for sale! The employee tried to make it out that I was the problem for being bothered that supposedly fresh food was rotting and moldy. If this is the attitude in produce, I can only imagine what it is like in the deli, or meat department. The thought of buying fresh meat from a store with these standards and attitudes quite frankly turns my stomach. Sorry Festival, I used to really like your store, but Im done shopping there. And looking at the other reviews, this isnt the first time rotting food out for sale has been an issue.

I purchased a 1/4 marble sheet cake 5/28/17 from the freezer section & it was dated 6/26/17. I left it defrost & that evening my husband & I sliced a piece of it. It was the most horrible dry piece of cardboard I have ever eaten. Well we didnt eat it because it was so dry we could barely get it down. I spent $19.99 for it & it ended up in the garbage. I have noticed that the donuts are just like dry brick if you dont eat them the same day you buy them. Also the meat dept. is getting to be just as bad....it normally is dated to be used that day or 1 day out. I have even smelled a very nasty smell when it is dated the day I am using it & it ends up in the garbage. I have decided that I will not shop @ Festival Foods any longer. I will pick another grocery chain that know how to make baked goods & the meat isnt wiped with some detergent & replaced back out for sale

When I could not find a product, an employee searched half of the isles, contacted immediate peers for assistance, contacted peers from other locations, utilized an internet search, and after realizing the product was not available at the moment, he continued to look. All with the utmost professionalism and sincerity while striding to humor the event into positivity and assured the store will soon acquire the product. 110% excellence. I know where you can shop and be treated with significance and not merely as a walking wallet.

Visited Fond du Lac after seeing the Madison store under construction. What a positive experience, knowledgeable friendly employees, & excellent specials. Shopping the outside ring, fresh produce, deli, meat, seafood & dairy alone was worth the drive. Their store products, potato salads, sliced to order hot ham, fresh breads, would give Whole Foods something to aspire to. SKS Artisan breads deserve special mention, the SKS Wisconsin 5 Cheese bread is even better heated than the sample.

Went here looking for burger stuff like I normally do. In normally shop at Festival so I was expecting to find what I was looking for. Went to get lettuce it was sopping wet and rotting, went to get bagged spinach. They only had large plastic tubs none in bags.Went to get hidden valley bacon ranch sandwich spread they did not have it. Went to get mushroom swiss festy burgers and they were out. Wine and spirits mushed our items in one bag. Complete bust.

They were very friendly and helpful. I had a lot of groceries and my baby grandson. The only checkout open was a "You Bag" (which I usually love, but not with a baby). Another employee said she would bag so I could use that lane. She even helped unload my cart! I would give them 5 stars but I dont like their parking lot. Theres always chaos while trying to get in and out.

The food quality is as good as you can get in Fond du Lac. The prices are almost as competitive as other places but while slightly more expensive they usually have what I am looking for while other places are out of stock. The meats are as high a quality as can be found locally and they have bulk couscou and other foods and spices that l cant find elsewhere.

This is "hands-down" the best supermarket within 100 miles. Staff are knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly. Store conditions are clean, bright, organized and well-stocked. Every department gets top marks. Must have excellent management - and I assure you that I have no connection to any of them, though I have significant industry experience.

This Festival is similar to other Festival stores, great selection and prices. 5gal water filled jugs in front of store, through exit door. Store doesnt carry empty 5gal water jugs but filling station accepts them so bring your own. Friendly service at checkout. Deli item Farmers Market Blend is great for a light breakfast.

I absolutely love this store. The bakery, deli and meat departments are great and offer a great display and good assortment. They offer great coupons. I just wish it was closer, it would be the only grocery store I shopped if so. Helpful associates and friendly cashiers.

Festival is one of the most customer friendly grocery stores Ive ever shopped. Items are regularly stocked, I can always find an employee when I need one & they stock a nice variety of products. Bonus is that they are actively engaged in the community. Love them!

Great options and a well stocked wine section. More expensive than the other grocery stores but the produce quality makes it worth the cost.

They make the best peanut squares I have ever had. Their selection of beer and wine is better than some liquor stores I know.
