Do not buy Ford Lynn Layton ford! My 2012 Mustang was totaled recently and I was in the market to replace it. I stopped by to see and drive the only 2015 Mustang GT on the lot. I was preapproved for a new car loan up to 75k. to make a long story short, I was not allowed to take the car on a test drive unless I negotiated "numbers first". In another words, the dealer would not let me drive the car until we settled on a price and financing, ABSURD! Once I was told that I left. It was bothering me bad that I had to go back and speak my mind. After speaking with the salesman and the General Manager I was offered to take the car for a drive. Sure! turn away a possible buyer and then when he returns offer him the drive? FORGET THAT! Skip this dealer and head east to Woody Anderson Ford. Bought a Mustang from them that same evening, 2015 GT performance package.

I had my car repaired by Brad and his collision team. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing serious car repair. Brad is a very nice man and his team does GREAT work! Before finding Brad, all other collision centers in the area was only offering service appointments months away. I called Brad on a Thursday sent my information and within a week my car was dropped off getting fixed. My car looks better than the day I purchased it! And they didnt take forever to repair my car either especially with the severity of work to be done. Doloris (hope I spelled it right) in the auto business center was also very nice, she called me the next day following up on my car making sure everything was fine. The customer service and the quality or work is outstanding! Thank you Lynn Layton Ford Collision Center, you made this part of my car accident painless.

Quick and easy purchase, friendly staff, as helpful as they come! Austin Craft answered my inquiry within minutes of showing interest online, and Marty Steelman sorted out the details, making sure I had the right vehicle at the right price. Got a 2016 Focus with a valuable and hassle free maintenance plan for a Fiesta price, and had a great time getting to know Marty! He showed concern about meeting my needs, even helped sift through the options I didnt; I could sense the genuine concern for making my dollars count. Mr. Laytons staff made me feel welcome and cared for, and I will recommend anyone who is looking to get into a new Ford at the most competitive price around! A big thank you to the whole staff for ending a rather stressful process on the highest note possible.

Encountered a racist employee that said all Muslims and democrats wanted everything handed to them. He assumed that because I am a black American he could speak very freely about his religious views that were directly correlated to the color of my skin. If this employee didnt mean that he certainly meant it when he said that Obama was adolf Hitler. That "we" let him ruin this country. I will not be shopping at this location or any for dealership for that matter since they think a simple oil change will suffice for his ignorance and bigotry. Ford Im extremely disappointed in you for letting this employee be the face of your company. P.S. Its racist to assume that all Muslims are terrorist when only a small percent of them practice radical Islam.

I recently bought my first car in 9 years. I honestly hate the process and avoid it at all costs (including forcing my vehicles to last longer than they want to) so it was after intense self deliberation that I found myself sitting in the chair at Lynn Layton Ford in Decatur. I wont say the buying process has improved in the past 9 years, its still a long, drawn out process but I can happily report the pain of the process was mitigated by my salesperson, Brian Hargis, and the helpful and friendly finance crew. Brian was knowledgeable about the car I wanted (and bought), friendly and listened to my wants and concerns and went out of his way to make sure I had the best possible experience. I will do business with Lynn Layton again in the future.

Buying a car from this dealership is the best experience I have ever had. Brian Hargis did an amazing job helping me find the car I wanted and also my daughter. I know from past experience that when you buy a new car, it can have issues. Lucky me, I picked out just that car! The dealership, Brian Hargis and the service manager, Brian Presley has been very understanding and accommodating given the situation. They have also been very honest with me about the car which to me is worth more than anything. Would I recommend this dealership? 100% yes! Would I recommend Ford? 100% yes! The technology you can get with these Fords for the price is the best I have seen!

I recently traded my 2010 F150 FX2 for a more fuel efficient car. My intent was to reduce my monthly spend and save on gas. Service staff lies to you. Bought a Ford from a different dealership with a series of free oil changes. Was close to Lynn Layton so pulled in and ask if they would honor the free oil changes? "Yes sir no problem! "Was what I was told. But.....they than wait till AFTER the oil change to tell me they cant honor the free oil changes, forcing me to pay out of pocket. Had they been honest from the start I would have been ok with that and drove to Huntsville for the free oil change and been fine. But to be lied to proves Lynn Layton Ford of Decatur has no truth behind their words.

I walked in Lynn Layton Ford with a car worth less than I owed and a not-so-great credit score. I walked out with a brand new Ford Fusion and a gratefulness for Glenn, my salesman! I enjoyed my shopping and my purchasing experience at this location on my NEW FORD EDGE... 10/2014 Great people and they found what I was looking for the same day. Paper work was ready fast I was in and out! They also have someone go out and show me everything about my new vehicle... Who do you know that spends that much time on you as a customer? Thats correct, no one But Im here to tell you Lynn Layton Ford does!!! This was my 3rd vehicle I purchased at this one location, Im sure Ill be back one day :-)
