I dont think that Hendrick Chrysler Dodge deserves even one star after their horrible display of customer service towards my husband today. My husband is a 6-year Marine Corps veteran who served as the Motor Transport Chief of his unit in Raleigh, NC. Not only that, he was previously a certified diesel technician with a degree in diesel mechanics and a certified Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge technician. He assumed that because of the Hendrick name, he could trust them with a few small tasks to take care of with my Jeep while he was at work; however, he says now that he wishes he hadnt. I took my Jeep in for a simple yearly inspection, and was surprised to find that it had been failed, with the recommendation for four new tires! I told the service advisor that the tires looked fine, and he simply replied that "They look fine, but theyre really not. You need to replace all four." I went back later with my husband. He briefed one of the service advisors, Daniel, about what was going on, and Daniel pulled the vehicle into the service lane to check out the "failed" tires that "needed to be replaced." Daniel went into the service garage and came back with a tread depth gauge. Instead of checking them himself, he handed the depth gauge directly to my husband, making him check the tires. My husband was taken back, but took the gauge and calibrated it as it should so that the service advisor could see that he was about to take perfectly accurate tread measurements. My husband called out the tread measurements to the service advisor as he measured the tires tread depth, and only one of the measurements on one tire was within the NC state regulations for an insufficient tread depth, at 2/32. The regulations clearly state that in order to fail a vehicle for inspection based on the depth of a tires tread, the tire must have 2/32 or less on two adjacent treads, which my husband clearly explained to the service advisor. After the measurements had been taken, and the tires had been found by my husband to be within the NC state "Passing" regulation, I was shocked to hear Daniel tell my husband that "Youre still clearly ignoring the fact that you need four new tires, and I dont know why youre putting your family into a vehicle thats clearly not safe to drive." Clearly, Daniel doesnt know what he is talking about, and is only trying to make a sale. My husband made it known that he was a former certified technician, and knew what he was talking about, and that his wifes car was a "Passing" vehicle, to which the service advisor Daniel replied, "Well then, why didnt you inspect your own vehicle?" My husband could not believe this level of horrible customer service and disrespect, and told Daniel that he couldnt believe that he would have to take his wifes Jeep to another place to get an honest inspection when he had already had one done that should have been passed. When Daniel made it clear through his constant and obviously condescending "Well Im sorry you feel that ways" that nothing was going to be done about our bogus inspection, my husband just decided that enough had been enough, and decided to leave. As he was getting in the car, he walked back to the service desk where Daniel sat, and asked him if he was a manager, or just the service advisor, to which Daniel answered "Im just a service advisor." My husband asked him for the purpose of this review what his name was (he didnt even have a name tag), and he replied "Daniel", and mockingly held out his hand for my husband to shake. My husband at this point was extremely frustrated, and just blankly stared at Daniel. To this, Daniel responded to my husband, "Cool story!" My husband was absolutely speechless, and all he could muster was "Really?" About ten seconds later, my husband could still barely speak, but said "Google will definitely hear about this", and walked away. I just cannot believe how Hendrick treated us, and especially my husband. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER take their cars here for service, and to never buy a car from this horrendous dealership!

Well, where can I start. I have never been as impressed as I was at Hendrick dodge. First up Theres Eric. I first talked to him on the phone and he was a VERY nice guy. Though I was schedule to meet him, i forgot his name the day I went there and I ended up with James Clement. I most say about James as a salesman. Very professional but most importantly, extremely nice. He made sure I was taken care of from beginning to end. Made sure my new car was everything I wanted. With him i didnt have to go through the hassle of guessing what car I wanted. he had it all laid out, so quick and easy. Now theres Marcus Allen. The head(I think) finance guy there. When we were going through the whole car negotiations, he came in the office and I will say, this guy went through hell with me. Not in a rude disrespectful way but, I was a hard sale but he remained professional and after back and forth negotiations for about 30 minutes, the sale was made. truly a great guy. Now, theres Amber Conner, the office receptionist. The story about her is short. I didnt have enter action with her personally during my visit but i called Hendricks about 7 times and not once did she raise her voice, speak like she had an attitude. Now, she may of said something negative when we got off the phone like, "OMG, Hes calling again" lol but after meeting her personally on the last day, shes NOT that type of person. A warm smile and a warm presence. Now theres Edison Glover, this guy was off the chain(in understanding terms) he was remarkable. I brought many cars and NO one and I mean NO one explained everything to me like he did. I asked a question, he answered it. Now, Im a straight forward guy who doesnt like the run around. he didnt do that to me. When I was confused about some of the things he was explaining, and i asked a question, the tables turned, he was now confused lol. But what was great about him, he broke it down, so I could truly get a real understanding about all that is offered to me. Last but not lease, Theres Robert in finance. I dont remember his name but, on the day i was suppose to get my new car, I made a small mistake in some information but even though I did, he still made me feel like a new car owner. HE REALLY DID WHAT IT TOOK TO MAKE ME THE NEW OWNER OF MY NEW Dodge Charger. The whole organization impressed me so much. God gives blessings to those who bless others. Each of you guys will have Blessings that will change your lives, like you changed mines. Thank you Hendrick Dodge for all the kindness .All the smiles and making my visit there a visit that i will not forget. I hope you keep that same warmness and smiles, on a day my payment might be late LMAO! Besides a huge selection of cars, Hendricks has a HUGE selection of wonderful people.God Bless each of you and thank you again for my new Dodge Charger lol.Q

UPDATE from my last review: First off let me just say when I have a good experience with something I stay pretty loyal to that company or dealership. We have decided to upgrade and get another truck to pull a bigger camper and of course I ran to Hendrick dodge in Cary NC. I have tried to talk to the same sales rep. to discuss the possibilities of getting or leasing a Ram 2500. After leaving a few voicemails and never getting anything back from him I decided to just roll the dice and discuss it with anyone else at hendrick dodge. I have talked with either sales managers or sale reps about what I wanted to do and really couldnt get the numbers worked out. So just this past weekend I decided to take a trip out that way and look at a few trucks at different dealerships. After talking to a different dealership in that area and not getting a good experience there my wife and I thought we would go to Hendrick Dodge in Cary with hopes that the could get that good feeling back about buying a truck. This ended up not being the case. Let me inform you that yes my truck had be in a accident in the past when a deer ran into me. All had been repaired with Dodge parts. I insisted to my insurance company that my truck be repaired at a Hendrick collision center, still staying loyal. After the collision center didnt get the repairs right the first time, but they did get it fixed the second. I still try to do business with the Hendrick name. Ok back on track about trying to get a new truck. I looked up the value of my truck on KBB and NADA and rough trade in was 26k and the truck is in now where to rough shape. We talked to a sale rep and took a ram 2500 on a test drive and of course we loved it. Now we just had to get the numbers right. Too sum things up, I was offered 25k for my truck which is 4k lower than the other dealership had offered me just a few hours back. Of course I was a little offended and told them we couldnt take that offer. After getting the feeling that the dealership didnt want to work to keep my business due to the fact they didnt even make any other offers or try to move anything else around to keep a customer that has already bought 3 cars from Hendrick dealerships and this one would have been 4. I really think this was my last attempt with Hendrick Dodge in Cary and will probably take my business to another non hendrick dealership with hopes of a good experience.
