Life has been tough, maxed out credit living pay check to pay check. Sometimes being able to feed myself and pay the bills is impossible. Uptown pawn has given me the ability to narrowly make it by. Things like bouncing checks, skipping payments, dealing with late fees could make life even harder than it already is. Uptown pawn is a safe, friendly, honest pawn shop that has always giving me a fair rate. Sometimes it gets busy but all and all the people who work there really do try their hardest to help everyone as fast as reasonably possible. Out of every pawn shop you could go to I would suggest this one if not for the fair rates consider this would you rather go to a cookie cutter pawn shop or go somewhere the people will be honest, patient, and actually work with you to help you pay a bill, sell an item or pick up a good deal from the various items they offer. I want to say a personal thank you to uptown pawn for helping me without a doubt you have saved me several times and I really refuse to go to any other pawn shop.

AMAZING PEOPLE AND AWESOME DEALS!! I was planning to buy a used DLSR camera, so was looking for deals online and in local pawn shops. Im not from the cities, so I decided to give a call to a couple pawn shops in the cities, and Uptown pawn seemed to have what I was looking for. Next thing, I trusted the online reviews and came all the way to their store. The camera was in a great physical shape, but the battery was dead and unfortunately they didnt have the charger. And I didnt live near enough to come sometime later when theyll have it ready for me. So what they did: first they gave me an amazing deal on the camera, and on top of that they extended the return day by a week so that Ill get enough time (and a weekend) to come back for returns if I needed to. They also decided to not charge any restocking fee for returns. I brought the camera home and tested it until I was satisfied. It turned out to be great as they promised.

I just had a really nice experience with Uptown Pawn! After getting quotes on a gold necklace at 5 places, I came back here to sell it to them because they had the 2nd best price. (The best price was only $5 more and a much further drive away) The nice guy at Uptown Pawn asked me if I wouldnt mind sharing the other quotes I received at the other 4 places. When I told him, he said he would match the best price plus he gave me an additional $5! He was a very pleasant guy and said he would just appreciate future business and asked me if I would give him a good online review. I am doing that because they certainly deserve it!!

I wanted to sell some gold jewelry but wasnt sure about the carat weight. I took it to one dealer who said it was 18K and they gave me a price that I thought was too low. I called Uptown Pawn and they quoted me a much better price based on what I thought I had. When I took the gold to their store they checked the weight and told me it was actually 22K! They imediately increased their offer based on the higher quality of gold. I was very impressed by their honesty and integrity. KARE11 was right, Uptown Pawn gives the best price and has great serivce.

I brought in some old jewelry that I traded in for a new ring. I found a gorgeous antique ring that I bought with the cash. When I purchased the ring they had a jeweler on site that cleaned and shined the ring. They also replated the white 18K gold. Not only did they go sell me the ring, but after they recoated the new ring I bought, they actually cleaned my wedding ring too!! Wow, I tell everyone about this store. These guys are super unfriendly. Not knowledgeable at all. I called before I went they told me that they purchase the item I was looking to sell once I got there they told me they dont buy those items. They are super friendly to Mexicans the only reason I know that is because Spanish is my second language and they where super nice to the Latinos but me plus the two other white people got terrible customer service. I will never go back to that tiny shop.

These guys are the best , gave me a great price on a 42, and when it broke unexpectedly a month later were very accommodating, and even offered repair or exchange,.... top notch staff, and owner, who all made time for me,... very appreciated, and they even delivered my replacement and borrowed me a TV (to watch world series while we sorted it out!!! Good place to pick up cheap video games for all platforms! Staff is friendly and helpful, unlike at max-it pawn where you are greeted with contempt for asking a question. This place gives me the most loan money for my items. I was glad to read another review that also said this was hands down the best pawnshop in the TCs. That and the owners willingness to respond to these reviews and try and make things right make this no contest.

I had came here and gotten a big flat screen, about 42 inch. To put in my livingroom. They had just gotten it in over the weekend, as I had just gotten my settlement check in the mail for my car injury I had gotten into 2 years ago. The t.v is great and it looks really nice in my livingroom. The staff was great too and saved me a lot of money on it.

I recently went to Uptown Pawn because I needed new brakes on my car and didnt have the money to repair them so I pawned my diamond ring. The customer service is great and they give you a fair deal.I have only had to pawn my ring one other time and it was with Uptown Pawn I wouldnt trust any other shop. Kudos to Uptown Pawn!

Uptown pawn offered me a very fair price on some silver I was selling. Ive never sold anything to a pawn shop before and expected to be taken through the ringer. This wasnt the case. Everything was above board. We looked up the spot price of silver and they made a reasonable discount off of that. I would definately use them again.

I will never be a customer at this place ever again. Ive went in to sell a few items, just to get a few bucks, each time I was turned away. They are way to picky on what they will and will not take, not to mention the staff is very rude and unprofessional. I would not waste my time going here.
